Mathis kept the beat, adding his own style to the song. Mostly little additions, like a quick double tap instead of on, or a cymbal crash instead of a quiet measure No sense in being subtle he thought with a smile, making even more coordidnated noise with the others.

((yeah, thats sounds fine and makes sense, and i don't really mind since i have another character to do stuff in the mean time.))
Pai decided to add a little something in. Still keeping the melody going with one hand, she started another beat to flow through the others, which wasn't as hard as it sounded. The melody was pretty repetitive so it wasn't hard to do with just one hand, and adding a little something else with the other not only added to the music, but added to her own personal fun in doing it.

After several hours of practice Kay made them stop and take a break. His body glistening with a slight sheen of blood sweat. Sitting down on an amp he gulped down some blood and took out a small black notebook. Flipping through it he announced to the others. "Okay, plus the song we just came up with, we have about 5 songs that we can do for our first show. Now we have to decide if we want to do all of them, do we want to leave out certain ones, and in what order do we want to do them in. Who wants to go first?" Saiya plopped on the couch and yawned still nursing her hang over. "I don't care so long as we actually get to do something with them." She muttered pulling a couch pillow over her face.

Pai's ears were hurting really bad after that.. she hoped she would get over it eventually, if she herd a lot of singing maybe. She loved the sound of singing, but it still hurt her ears... the curse of a Djinn.
She sat in the same spot she had been in for hours, and after changing form again, she started masagging her ears, not saying anything.

Pai looked up, and changed form, still covering her ears, "I like the 4th one" she said grinning like a child. "eh!" she cried, wincing a little, her ear throbbed really bad.
She looked over at Yuna "Ah, you really hurt my ears!" she said laughing, though oddly, it didn't sound like an insult. Then she changed form again... she seemed to do that a lot when she was in pain. Then finally back to her usual form

Saiya had peeked from under the cushion when the odd little one had spoken. "Ack! Make her stop doing that! She's making me dizzy!" She complained as she yanked the cushion back over her head.

Kay gave Saiya a look. "That wasn't very nice..." he turned to Pia. "Don't listen to her. She's just suffering from a major hangover, and is a little grouchy today." saying this he looked over at Saiya again. "Besides. We made this band to show the humans what we could do. So who cares if one of us has the, in my opinion, the awesome ability to change their forms? It's just more for the humans to talk about after our kick a** show."

Mathis nodded and let out a bleat. He slapped a hand over his mouth and gave an apologetic stare. He fiddled with his drum-stick with his other hand, trying to keep his mind occupied and not think about how the humans might react... 'badly'.

Kay looked around at the group and knew what they where thinking. "The humans are going to love us! 'Course they're going to be a little shocked at first. But once we start playing there is no way they won't love us! I mean come on! Listen to how far we've come in only a couple of weeks! We're going to knock the socks off of the world!" he said trying to pump up his band, and get them ready for the show.
