The lord eyed the almost demon with distaste. "I do not deal with demons, or those like demons. The queen doesn't know the monster she has under her. She may think him leashed, but the only thing he will do is kill, as he did my family, and everybody else the monster meets." Lord dracien snarled ferally. the red cloak of the lord swayed from a gentle breeze. In a place where there was none.
Two men would fly through the inn's windows, decapitated, and the door would explode into splinters at the entrance to an aincent man, who leaned on a cane. "Hmm. It looks much more habitable from the inside. Too bad, Too bad. I'm sorry to inform you all, but I have to kill you. I hope you don't mind, Oh, and by the way, I will be taking your souls with me too." The man crtutched his way forward on the cane.

"Hmm.." He would remain in thought until after this old man seems to have burst into the building. The tip of his own cane would land upon the floor as he slowly turns and takes a step aside, before turning once more, this time in the direction of the old man. "Now.. let me see.. I believe those are usually my words." He would adjust his hat slightly with the very tip of that index finger, allowing this predator's gaze to be seen within the shadow cast by the brim of that hat. It was smiling then, despite the fact that the rest of that porcelain fleshed visage was nearly emotionless. "Greetings, it seems as though we will now have a duel." Old pleasantries and mannerism this one would have, especially when dealing with other old men.

The old man would make no move, and leaned heavily upon his cane. His other hand stroked his long white beard. "I'm sorry to inform you, god sir, but I'm not in good enough health to do a duel. I will have to pick myself a champion in my stead." He replied pleasently, as if four people hadn't just been killed, which in reality. . . The man's wisened old finger creaked on hinges that had gone without oiling for too long. His finger would eventually fall on one of the decapitated men that had fallen through the windows. "I choose you, good sir." The decapitated body jerked upwards on seemingly invisible strings. It ungracefully made it's way towards the other gentleman.
Lord Dracien just watched in horror. His nightmares were coming to life. The monster had made a move to kill him.

The moment that all of this violence had begun, the shadows cast by every object in this room had begun their slow creep towards the doorway. Meanwhile, the table which Dracien sat upon had a shadow which would spike forward across the ground, forming into a spear which would thrust diagonally-upwards, impaling the dead man through the a**s, up through its body, the throat, and finally up through its mouth, the tip of that spear seems to be curled like a Victorian spear fence. This would completely incapacitate the enemy. Meanwhile.. Jack simply remains standing where the shadows from about the room have surrounded the old man. Suddenly, these opaque shadows would bubble up like tar, not to mention that stench of brimstone. Meanwhile, Jack seems to be leaning a bit upon that cane, applying a bit of pressure to the side of his hat so that it would not fall off his head. Could it even move upon its own? So far it has never done so.

Lord Dracien would quickly make his way out of the main room, and into the basement, into his room. people would see it as fleeing, but the Lord himself didn't.
The old man gave a simple smile. "It's not that easy, I'm afraid. I pick my champions wisely." He said in responce to the spear impaling the corpse. The skin on the body seemed to slither around, as things inside the corpse shifted. Suddenly, the spine pulled itself out of the body, along with the rib bones, shoulders and arms. The rib bones now looked more like tiny legs, and the top of the spine looked like a mouth. Between the two, were the fleshy arms and shoulders, but that didn't last long. That would fall away, to reveal bones that had changed from hands into sharp blades, and the arms had split into two, making four sharp stingers on this scorpion like creature. It would scurry at the shadows engulfing Jack.

Hands would thrust upwards from within the shadows about the area. Armored soldiers, three of them, would rise from the darkness. They were clad in uniform, as they were three of Matachi's elite swordsmen. How is this possible? Well, he had killed a great deal of them under the command of Katherine. Each kill meant strength for him. Like puppets of his own, these men would now draw their blades as though they were alive despite the obvious deathly appearance, their flesh completely white, their eyes closed. They kept themselves busy keeping that bone puppet busy. But why stop there? Why not have more flying objects appear from within that void this monster kept. Spheres the size of baseballs would fly from out of the walls. Covered in tiny needles, these spheres were obviously dangerous, perhaps they were poisoned? One would have to be struck to find out. And finally, while this is going on, a fourth hand would reach up from the darkness, clasping at the old man's leg. It was Orion, and he was apparently hungry for old man flesh.

The old man watched this all with detached interest. He watched as they battled the flexible bone puppet. The bone swords it had created were just as sharp and stong as any steel blade. "I thought this would be one on one, but since this is your choice." The old man tapped his cane along the ground. THrough the windows, and the whole front of the inn, hundreds of little spikes would make their way through the walls and into the people who happened to be in the room. One wouldn't kill somebody, but twenty or thrity could. Everybody who had been in the inn was summarily killed, and two more corpses walked through the doors behind the old man. The skin was lifeless and they had strange protrustions from there flesh. They were bones, spikes, which could be fired quickly. the old man either didn't notice Orian grabbing his own leg, or didn't care. His hand simply stroked his beard. If one could see his back, they could see that it hadn't been spared of the needles. Thirty of them protruded form his own back.

"No. You already chose the moment you walked in here." The voice heard from the same slight smile apparent upon the scarecrow-like figure that is now riddled with holes. "I am pleased." His hole-riddled body lacked blood. In fact, it lacked everything, there were simply holes through them as though needles had flown through him, piercing him like paper. Those walking dead who had found themselves pierced did not halt. Although those flying orbs that came from the shadows on the walls found themselves changing trajectory, clattering upon the floor. "I am very pleased! I have been so bored, and you are not just a feeble old man after all." That onyx slit of a pupil found itself jutting outwards just the slightest bit. This was odd... and without further ado, it would fire like a bullet. This pole-like weapon shot forward, thrusting through steel, bone and flesh as though it were all butter. The object pierces that old man's chest, whether it was just a doll or not. Meanwhile, that corpse of Orion was busy breaking the old man/doll's leg off at the joint with wild abandon. That darkness would flow about the area, washing all of the now-dead, and dying bodies about like a whirlpool. Rising upwards, black strings would grasp these bodies at their joints, dozens of black strings per body. It was a creepy picture as these dead now hung in the stillness of the blood-painted building. These strings did not just hang down, but came upwards from the ground as well, seeming to defy gravity. Those long, slender fingers of his would curl as his hands rise in that insane laughter which was now growing from within. Despite the sound and inanity of this, that mouth did not move, it just remained in a slight smile. This is where he would leave off, allowing the enemy to take his turn. Those corpses did not move, they simply remain still for now, as though getting ready to strike. "Welcome! I would like you to enjoy my world for a little more time than you may have wished to!"

The old man stopped smiling, and tapped his cane among the floor again. "I suppose it is my turn, I suppose." He said simply, before his own body would crack and shift strangely. His spine broke out of his own body, breaking him in half and latched onto the corpse nearest to him. One of the one who had fired the needles. It seemed to combine with this man, and the other half, despite having it's leg ripped off combined with the other. Both of these new monster distorted themselves with ripping flesh and new limbs, until they each had six arms as deadly as any weapon. Both of these monsters smiled at Jack. "I have lived as long as time itself, and am one of the thirteen elements that comprises death under the great force fo life. I am gentleman bone, all that remains of the body after death." They said in tandem, the same voice from different bodies. It was unreal, like Jack. There was a flash as both bodies charged jack and the dead bodies. They may have been killed by Bone, but they were being controlled by jack. At least the important part had been harvested.

This was all a game to him, as his enemy seemed to take this quite seriously. The bodies that hung before the enemy would seem to twist..and twist.. and twist..bone and all, the crushed organs that were not needed, the blood that was not needed, it made quite a mess as they fell to the ground. The corpses were all like spears with blades upon both ends now.. The bone have been intertwined together until the many bodies were weapons. They all spun like propellers, while Jack waits for the enemy, simply remaining where he is. The darkness beneath the enemy seems to flow forward like a river.. and as the enemy charged and charged, he would soon find himself gaining little ground. Those blades, though.. they would spin faster and faster until the air seemed to carry a hollow ring. And they were then off, the ground beneath them splintering as they spun at a high speed. There must have been two dozen or so. One even slices through Jack's thin abdomen, leaving him hanging by a string, and yet he remains standing. Once again, this was fun to him, probably a little too much so.

gentleman Bone continued forward, unminding of the darkness that impeded his progress. Most of the spinning propellers failed to hit him, swerving off to slightly miss the two juggernauts, but some did hit him. The bones of the people he had killed were still under his control, but the ones he had missed were not, so some sliced through bone and all. The bone monsters didn't mind, whatsoever. They were disposable after all, since this was all a test. Suddenly, without warning, the bone monsters would come apart, and became a bridge to Jack, a road across the darkness. The jaw of one of the monsters smiled as it touched the form of the man. "It's all over. My purpose has been acheived. Until the next encounter." The old man spoke through the simple bones, before the corpses of them simply fell to the ground. smile
Outside, quite a crowd had made itself evident. They had appeared around all the inns that had been attacked, and soldiers had gone in, but none had come out. All of the inn's main rooms would be filled with bodies, except for the Queen's blessing.

He would remain where he is a moment as he would spin his cane at his side before catching it beneath his arm. Stepping across the bones, he would reach the exit. "Well, it seems like my plans were interrupted, and my prey has run." He would watch the area from beneath the brim of that hat. "But at least the scenery is interesting." Everything is left as it is, dead bodies and all. Except for the four in which he had brought back momentarily to stall the opponent. He did not kill today.. but, at least he had fun. That was much more to be said than the usual.

Lord Dracien cautiously left his room, to make his way back up to the main room which was only covered in bones. Some people escaped the wreckage, still alive. His servants, beggars that had been out on the streets came in and started cleaning the place up. The lord fell to his knees, eyes wide at the destruction, to look at four of the bones of his most trusted servants. They had been killed, and so had the bartender. The lord stood back up, "We better get this cleaned up." The teslan lord said. He knew this had been an attack on him, but he would live to fight another day.

The day after would find the Lord watching the Inn being rebuilt. Everything was going smoothly, but the Inn would lose that worn in feel, so everyone inside would have to lay low for quite a while. It was what had to happen. The lord thought about the attack. He had been one of the only survivors. "Is it a blessing or a curse." The first thing he had done, was force a traveleing preist to bless each and every log and shingle with a blessing of the gods. Such filth wouldn't be getting in again.

The next day, the Inn would nearly be refinished. When lord dracien wanted something, done or otherwise, it was completed as quickly as possible. People who knew the strict taskmaster also knew the huge parties he sported afterwards. He called it testing the product, and it did. The building would be filled to capacity with the partyers as they tested the new structure out.
