The intentions behind this dumb Texas law are good, but it's just too dumb to work! Check it out, though, you will definitely laugh!
"A recently passed anti-crime law requires criminals to give their victims 24 hours notice, either orally or in writing, and to explain the nature of the crime to be committed."
Where to start on this one...oh yes...24 hrs notice?? This dumb Texas law expects criminals, who are already breaking laws, to obey a dumb law like this? Silly Texans.
Can you picture it now? Criminal calls up future victim and says, "Yes, hello is this Mary? I just wanted to formally tell you that I will be stealing your new plasma TV tomorrow while you are gone. Would you mind leaving the door unlocked? I'm kind of bad at picking locks..."

Dumb California Law
Somehow, this dumb California law does not seem as though it will prevent a lot of animals from mating publicly. What a dumb law!
Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship.
This dumb California law is very practical, but still hard to believe! Why would someone make such a dumb law? Who are they going to arrest? Animals?

Dumb Oregon Law
How did they settle on a law against using canned corn like this, rather than canned peas? This dumb Oregon law is really funny!
"Canned corn is not to be used as bait for fishing."
There has to be better bait to use anyway, but really, who would use canned corn? Would it even stay on the hook? "Here fishy fishy fishy...come get some delicious, healthy corn!" What a dumb law. Silly Oregon state. Like if the fish can't eat it then why should we !!!!
