Kanahk packs his things for his voyage to the lycan isles. He looks through his mail box. he finds a letter from his brother Gorin, chief of the Blood Dragon clan. It read;
Kanahk, our tribe is in trouble. a group of bandits that go by the name of Satan's Homeless are ransacking the villages under our protection. children are being women and children are being raped and slaughtered. Men are being tortured and nailed to posts outside of their own burning yurts. the streets have never been stained with so much blood from our own people. I require the help of your Lord Romskog's peacekeepers. I pray i see you soon.

Meanwhile Elsewhere in the Blood Dragon clan's homeland of Zanfaria...
Gorin sits in his hut with his fellow warriors.
Gorin: the eastern villages have been evacuated. Those brigands have withdrawn to the fire mountains 30 miles from here.
Random Warrior: I say we attack them now. all of nothing. No more waiting for Kanahk and his outsiders.
Gorin: No we must wait. we will hold them off until i have heard back from them

He arrives in Romskog's chambers where Romskog enjoys a bowl of steaming broth while he addresses his sons, Jericho and Joshua.
Romskog: Joshua you must head to Life's end forest. you will meet up with Asimov at the House of the Crystal skull where our vampire allies will supply you wiht room, board, and a group of warriors for your venture the next day to track down Zart and make him pay for his crimes. Jericho you have been selected to bring the offering to the dragon's cave. the cows have been prepared for travel tomorrow. Kanahk, what brings you to my chambers? Please have a seat.
Kanahk sits at the small round table.
"My brother sent me this letter"
Kanahk slides the letter across the table over to Romskog. Romskog picks it up and reads it. the expression on his face quickly grows serious.
Romskog sets the letter down and stares back at Kanahk.
Romskog: My friend, These are serious times. I have some troops i can send but you peacekeepers are very occupied. perhaprs after you finish your mission you may go.

Esrien finished packing his travelsack.
"Now to gather the companions."
After receiving a tip from one of the guards, he headed down to the dungeons.
"Hello there Leon, Zeth, milord Archimedes. If we're quite through with the prisoner, we should get along with our orders." He said, walking into the room with the shivering Kerczek
