A take on Sleeping Beauty? Is it really similar, completely different, or similar, but in a different dimension/time period/etc.?

Yes, my bad, Robin McKinley, and it was written in omniescent narration, but the timeline was messed up, I was confused to the order in which things were happening because she was going further into the future of the past, and then back and forth so I didn't know when anything was happening.
It was a very confusing book, but since it was Sleeping Beauty I didn't mind. It's veeerrrrrrrry different.

I'm reading a book by Octavia Butler right now. I decided I wanted to read another "adult read." A friend told me I'm outgrowing childrens' books hehe. XD What ever. razz I will never outgrow Ga'hoole anyhow.
