"Oh, sorry... Didn't mean to bring it up..." Dani mumbled, her gaze dropping to the ground again. She thought it strange that they had been sold, not given to a shelter or anything. But, it seemed to have worked out well enough, and given them a better home than most foster homes would've been.

"Oh God," Jinx said out loud, shortly before slamming his eyes shut and putting his head down, hands over his ears. He was trying to control his power, but to little avail. The screwdriver he had in hand bent at a 90 degree angle, and several things in his room fell of their shelves. A lamp broke on the floor. He slowly and apologetically looked up at the bikini-clad girl, hoping she had remained clothed. Once he was at the beach and he had accidentally caused a girl's bikini straps to break. He thought if that had happened here, it would probably be his first and last day at the school.

He softly stammered, "umm-mm, uhh, T-this-s is r-room-m 8. S-so, umm, it ssh-should be a f-few rooms back th-there." He pointed behind him and flinched, hoping both that she wouldn't think he was a freak, and that his pointing wouldn't cause the floor to fall out from under them.

Moon Child couldn't help but squeal as she quickly crossed her arms over her chest thankful that the bottom piece was ok. Looking down at the ground her midnight color hair covered her face though the blush was hard to see in her deep olive skin making her thankful that she wasn't a pale skinned person like her adoptive parents had been. Nodding quickly and silently she looked at the key clutched in her hand gasping as she saw the bent mutated form of it. Her eyes widened much like that of a child's would though she didn't have the form of a child as she said sadly, "My key..." she frowned embarrassed now that she actually did have a problem. Wearing only a bikini bottom she was locked out of her room. Keep her arms tightly crossed, "Can I borrow your room for a moment?" a blush creeping into her face once more, "I'm kinda locked out and want to try and fix this." she said referring to her topless state, "Or find a shirt I can borrow from someone until I get a new key, room, or someone to break in for me."

Nodding in thanks Moon Child ran into her room grabbing the first thing she came to. An orange vest like shirt with a single large button in the middle. Pulling on a pair of dark low rise jeans that flared out in the legs over her bikini bottom she walked back to the door as she put a black headband in her hair. Smiling she felt more comfortable in her own clothes the initial shock of what had happened fading. "Don't worry about anything the top, it's been in the verge of breaking for a bit I guess this is what I get for not breaking down and buying a new one. And the office is bound to have more keys." Her smile was genuine as she asked her next question while watching him work, "What the hell was that anyway?" Chaos had tended to follow her most of her life she would have been surprised if it left her alone now.

Moon Child didn't notice him staring as she gave him a curious look but she giggled at his joke. She had met a mutant a couple times before and they always seemed to over react about being able to do things and normally they saw it as bad and let everyone know it. As he stuttered some a soft smile crossed her features, it was cute when he did it. Surprised at her own ability to keep interested in a conversation so long Moon Child was still firmly in reality instead of letting her mind wander. Listening to his name she actually kinda liked the name Jameson but it was up to him. "Jameson isn't so bad." she teased before saying, "Well Jinx it's nice to meet you. I am Moon Child." She knew it was an odd name and many would argue not a name at all but it was hers. When he caught her eyes she decided instantly that she liked the color of them but she didn't notice his blush. For as much as she knew about the world she knew virtually nothing about people.

Dusk grinned, "Yes. He taught us many things. Languages, Sport, Literature, and oddly not manners. For all the Balls and such he held he was never concerned with what others thought." Shrugging a mischievous glint came into her eyes, "You are quite welcome to join us though I will tell you up front neither of us play fairly when the other is involved."

While Dusk was involved in her own plots Rain took a moment to be more practical asking, "Have you ever fenced before? Perhaps it would be best if you watched a short round between us before you commit to playing. I fear once we start we are reluctant to stop."

Dusk sobered up some, "It's not that we mind you joining or mind teaching you. It's just when most people meet us they don't understand what they are getting themselves into. Rain is just afraid one of us will accidentally hurt you. Personally I think you are sturdier than that."

Glaring at Dusk, Rain said quietly "It wouldn't be the first time you have near killed someone over a game." She turned to Dani, "I wasn't joking when it was said we don't fight fairly when we combat, if you join us use whatever power you have not to get hit."

Dusk rolled her eyes, "Now that we are all morbidly depressed care to start?" Even in this confined space of the room they were not worried about it. If Dani said ready they would alter the reality they lived in for their own purposes.
