Matthew looked up at her, tear filled eye's
alogn with a tear stained face.
he chocked and wrote on the wet pad.
"Yes?"

She wanted to hug him, but didn't know if he'd like it or not. She looked at him, then at the table. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly.

Zach nodded and stayed silent for a moment. He was concentrating on searching the school for her brother and her friend. He had to look for their minds...which was harder than it sounded...then again it sounded hard as well. When he had, he opened one eye.
"You may want to go and check on your brother Roxy...as well as your friend. It appears that they are in the cafeteria right now....hurry and you can catch them." Zach opened both eyes then and got up from the bleachers. He hopped down from the step and landed on the ground with, of course, no sound.

"Why?" Roxy asked softly. "I'm in free period and I always relax now." She said to him.

Matthew came out of the light brefily grabbing the pad and slipping back into the suffocating darkness.
That depends on how you define okay, I guess I've just been thinking about Amy alot latly...

"It doesn't bug me, I'm just worried." she sighed, reaching over and hugging him. "Cry as much as you want."

Zach shook his head and laughed. Of course, free period was always used for relaxing or catching up on homework...this was a different matter though.
"Because, your brother is upset about someone....and your friend is trying to make him feel better...I think you should head over there...or ask him about it later." Zach looked away when he spoke to Roxy. Something else had his attention and he didn't know what it was.

Zach looked back at Roxy and sat back down beside her. It had been awhile since he had felt sorry for someone. He knew what it was like to lose something special.
"I see...I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." Zach got up and headed for the cafeteria. He found the dark corner were Roxy's brother was sitting with her friend and knocked his writing pad and pencil off he desk. Then he bent down and wrote down a quick note in his own elegant script. It read: "If you want me to help you find what you've lost, go and ask Roxy when you two have time alone. Ask for Zach." And he put the pencil on the pad. Hopefully he would read it.
Zach walked back to the bleachers and dusted off his pant legs, they had some dust gathered on the material.
"Alright...I got that taken care of."

Alli saw movement out of the corner of her eye, she turned her head. She saw the pencil moving, then shrieked. She fell backwards, falling off the bench. "G-g-ghost!" she squeaked.

"What was that all about?" Roxy asked the ghost softly. as she looked at him she noticed something. she didn't know what but she noticed something.

Zach had to hold back laughter after hearing the outburst from Roxy's friend. Humans did believe in ghosts but they thought of them as evil spirits out to get them. He shook his head and smiled his "fallen angel's" smile, he used it to dazzle spirits and humans that could see him. It usually worked in his defense.
"It was nothing...just giving your brother something to look forward to is all. Don't worry about it...though your friend saw me...I think."
Zach ran a hand through his hair again...it was a habit.

Matthew took the pad and nodded a simple okay. Then turned to the shrkiing girl.
He placed a gentle hand over he mouth and bounced her up and down.
Whispering an ocasional Sh..
He took out the pad and wrote,
Don't worrie, I have a mental power that can make my pencil write..Somethign i picked up with my uncle who does magic..

"Y-you?" she stared at him, then at the pencil. "B-but how?" she looked at the pad, scared half to death. She didn't know how scary it was to watch a pencil move by itself.

He relized he was holding her close to his body in a hug like manner.
