I don't really like Slipknot either, but I haven't really heard any of their songs to be honest. It's just the way the dress and all, you know... But then, I don't mind them too much. They actually have one song (Vermillion) that I quite like.

You should listen to Vermilion Pt. 2 then 3nodding

I'll suggest some:

I don't really like Slipknot either, but I haven't really heard any of their songs to be honest. It's just the way the dress and all, you know... But then, I don't mind them too much. They actually have one song (Vermillion) that I quite like.

Yeah. also, you cant hear what they're saying. Its all screaming and loud instruments. *Shudders*

You don't know what a scream is yet.
I bet you haven't listened to Behemoth, for example.
Those are screams, crap...
I couldn't understand what they were saying even reading the lyrics xD!
There are bands very much louder than Slipknot.
But they are better than any other heart

And... don't hate 'em... you'll make 'em sad =(

I currently listen to music in German and Italian.

Stuff by Rammstein, One Toten Hosen CD, and Silbermond, and for Italian, I have the one Eiffel 65 CD Cosa Restera.

Does anyone know of any other Italian bands (preferrably electronica of some sort or rock)? I'd love to have more Italian CD's, but I don't know what's out there.

I've listened to Behemoth for a few years now. I have to say that I enjoy their Black Metal days [before the release of Grom] in comparison with their more Death Metal-influenced releases today. Actually saw 'And The Forests Dream Eternally' in a music store over the weekend. Came really close to buying it..then my eyes caught sight of Isengard ;_; But next time I swear that demo will be mine..aswell as Craft's 'Terror Propaganda' 3nodding

I don't know many different language songs. sad This is a good place to hear about some I can try to download, though! 3nodding I mostly listen to music in Japanese. ^ ^ I like "Hikari" by Utada Hikaru a lot! 3nodding That one might be my favorite. X3

It's mostly pop and rock... except for the German songs, which are a sort of Hard rock/metal kind of a thing ^^
