Amia's eyes glittered with bloodlust as she slit the mans throat without mercy. she then faced his group with those same eyes "and trust me I will find you and i will make sure you suffer before you die." she stood beside Bakura as she dropped the man who had drowned in his own blood.
Atem looked at Amme shyly "well...we kissed." he said the last part a bit louder so she could hear. he then looked down "unfortunately my feelings for you are forbidden by law..."

Bakura watched, from the corner of his eye, Amia slit the man's thoat and drop him to the ground. He then shouted and pointed at a table, "You, clean this up." He then looked at Ami, his anger was quelled for now. "Let's go sit somewhere else. Our food should be coming out soon," he said as he walked to another empty table.
Amme blushed heavily when he said that. Oh she didn't think that he thought of that when he laid his head down to rest. She looked away, then back at him. She then lowered her eyes as he did- she tried to think of something to say. "Oh," was the first thing to come out of her mouth. But it was just a dream, wasn't it? She thought that until he said that his feelings were forbiddened. She looked up at him and said, "So you had feelings for what happened in the dream?" she saidcurious and shyly. It's one thing to dream it and think nothing of it, it's another when there are feelings that follow it. She smiled a bit but then frowned- it was true, they were forbidden. For one thing, she didn't have royal blood. Even if she did, she was part of his concil- that was also forbidden. She looked sad an said to herself (though maybe loud enough for him to hear), "Forbidden....." Ever since Seth said that Atem would be heartbroken if she was hurt, she had been wondering how much he liked her. She felt like she liked him a lot too. But, it didn't matter- because no matter what it was forbiddened. She seemed to be dazed off as she had her head down. Though the saddened face remained.

Amia nodded and followed him ignoring the stares they got. sher smiled at him as she sat beside him. "that felt good." she chuckled softly as she leaned back in her seat and propped herself againsht the wall. "as for telling you how i felt.... the feelings in my dream is as real as they are now. I do love you and I ask you..... do you or could you ever feel the same for me?" she looked at him with her dark blue eyes hopefully. it was obvious she was looking for someone more than a friend. she was happy with that but she also wanted someone to love and love her in return.
Atem then looked at Amme "how do you feel about me?" he asked softly. If she felt the same he would do his best to fight that law and love her no matter the consequences.

Amme looked back at him, into his eyes. The blush on her face was still there, and she felt tensed. How did she feel about him? What was she allowed to say being that the law forbid them? She knew that her heart was racing and that she couldn't keep her eyes away from his. He already unlocked her from her emotional cage, but now she had to think of how she felt about him since they met. She knew he was like a guardian to her, and they were friends. She remembered, feeling different around him- and that she did always think of him. She also remembered locking away any type of feelings from him because she felt she believed in her superstitions. And she knew, that she liked that feeling he gave her- without him even knowing- when he was around her. Amme realized that she had been staring at him for a while now without saying anything. She blinked to bring herself from her thoughts. "I feel...... happy around you. Like you are the light in my darkness. That even when I kept away from you, I wanted to be around you. I still can't say enough how sorry I am about that..... but I was consumed by the thought that if I was around you, you could have been hurt or something eqully as bad. I realize that it was foolish to think, and I regret not being around you as much. Because I want to be around you. I think about you a lot. And when I think about you, my heart can't stop pounding....." she said trying to tell him how she felt. "I think the man in my dream was you. The man that is always there in my dreams that watches over me is you. And I want to make the dream you had come true but I can't. Because they won't let us," she said with her head lowered. "Would you want the dream you had..... to come true?" she added with a meek voice. She told him how she felt without even knowing for sure if what he saw in his dream meant something. She wouldn't know what she would do if he didn't and if he found her strange.
Bakura nodded- it felt good for him as well. He sat the same way he did before and listened to her. L-love? She really did? He's had nobody that loved him nor anybody for him to love. How could he love her? Obviously, he cared about her and yes, she was in his heart. But he was a monster, and monsters can't love. Their food was delivered to them and he just looked at the plate. He didn'y know what he was feeling- it was more then friendship, he knew that. "I'm a monster, I'm a heartless killing machine, you know that. I don't know what love is or how to define it. All I know, is that...... when I saw you again, I felt different. I can't have you leave- I need you to stay with me. I know that I'll protect you, care for you, die for you," he started to say. He looked up at her and continued, "I don't ever want you to leave. I know for a fact that I..... wouldn't be able to deal with the fact of you not being with me. There's never been anything in my life to love, I don't know what it feels like. But when I see you, there's something I feel that I can't explain."

Amia looked at Bakura "you're not the only monster.... and who says monsters can't love.... I love." she then looked at her food "you say you don't know love.... well maybe that feeling you can't explain is love. you wont ever lose me because I'd never leave your side. no one understands us better than each other." she decided to let that all sink into his mind and began to eat slowly and quietly. keeping her eyes on her food with a sullen expression as she ate. her skin was surprisingly pale despite her time alone in the desert. it looked like porcelain yet it was obvious it wasn't due to the light scars from battles that she had healed and bandaged on her own. life was more dangerous alone as a thief yet she had beaten the odds and staid alive but at the cost of mistrust and emptiness.
Atem smiled and nodded "thats great o hear and yes I do want my dream to come true as I want yours to come true as well. The laws can be changed until you are certain about your feelings. I only change them for you." he said softly as he looked at her with a gentle gaze.

Bakura started to eat as well. Maybe she was right, maybe what he felt was love for her. He stopped eatting and looked at the plate. "Do you...... want to go somewhere today..... with me?" he asked awkwardly. He sweatdropped a bit as his eyes were slanted as usual. His face was a mixture of his usual anger, shyness, and confusion. It was a bit amusing to see.
Amme's heart was going a mile a minute. Her face was still read and she felt nervous yet at peace. She wished her heart would slow down though, it was making her dizzy. "Oh," she said as she leaned her head on his chest, "I'm feeling a bit dizzy." Placing her head down wasn't helping. Being this close to him sped it up. Not to mention, she could smell his sent, which was of clean linen and spice. It made her mind wander.

Amia chuckled softly at his expression "yes that sounds wonderful. I love being outside anyways. though it looks like I've lived inside a temple." she smiled as she finished her food and took a sip of her drink. it wasn't water, that was for sure the alcohol in it was strong but she was use to strong drinks. she drank it like it was water after tasting to see what it was.

Atem stroked her head gently "it is a bit much to take in so I understand." he smiled softly and began to hum a song that he remembered his mom singing to him when he was very small.

Bakura looked at her, "But you are so pale. Do you wear a robe while you are out?" He ate his food quickly and chugged his drink. His usual consisted of an alcoholic beverage in the morning. He had high tolerence- so he wasn't even buzzed from it. "Well then, let's go," he said while standing up and holding out his hand to her. When he asked, he asked as if it was a type of date. He wandered if she knew that's what he attended.
Amme nuzzled her head a bit as he stroked her head. She liked his touch, it was comforting. She hadn't been comforted in years. She smiled to herself as she s**t her eyes. She listened to the melody he hummed. "That's lovely, where is it from?" she asked. She unconsciously wrapped her arms around his waist lightly.

Amia smiled and took his hand "no i don't...... I think it was something to do with my family tree or something because i can't ever seem to get tan." she laughed. it felt like a date and it made her blush. was that his actual intent? a date? it was sudden but she loved the idea of spending time with him. it was also obvious that she wasn't buzzed at all. she seemed to handle alcohol very well.
Atem smiled "well my mother use to sing it to me when i was very little before she passed away with a strange illness that the doctors could not cure. the thought of it no longer makes me sad because i know she wouldn't want me to dwell on her death for so long." he looked down at her as he ran his fingers through her hair.

Bakura actually liked how light skinned she was. They exitted the base and Bakura whistled for his horse. "I like the fact you don't tan...." he tried to compliment but it didn't sound right to him after he said it. He looked away and growled to himself a bit. His horse galloped up to him. Bakura had two cloaks in his arm. "We'll need these- so nobody will attack us," he said handing her one. Not that he cared if he was attacked- both of them could fight them off. But he wanted a calm day with her.
Amme thought for a moment. Atem lost his mom when he was young like she lost her parents. He then lost his father a while ago. "I hope I did not shame my parents by dwelling on them," she said. She then smiled and said, "I bet your mother was loving and caring. She must have been a wonderful person." She assumed so because of his gentleness. He probably got his stregnth from his father though. She was not dizzy anymore, but she kept her head on his chest anyway. She felt she couldn't keep away from him now. She looked up at him and smiled. "You never said how you felt about me. I would like to hear," she said with a warm reflection.

Amia smiled and put on the cloak "thank you and you look great with a tan." she winked with a playful smirk. she then petted the horse gently. "do you want me to ride with you on your horse? if not my horse is around here somewhere. she's trained much like yours." she said calmly.
"I'm sure you didn't and yes my mother was. I learned many things from her." Atem blushed when she said she wanted to hear how he felt about her "well I feel an unexplainable connection and attraction to you. I feel a passion and love for you that mere words cannot explain." he said softly as he looked into her eyes lovingly.

Bakura smiled just a bit from the compliment. "No, you can ride with me," he said as he jumped up on the horse. He extended his arm to her so she could climb up. He left room for her in the front this time. So maybe he did it intentionally so he could wrap his arms around her. So? She already said she liked him- loved him at that. And he wanted to, so he would.
Wow. Amme just stayed there, frozen and with a tone of blush on her. Her heart practically melted with his words. She sat up a bit, but did not release her loose hold around his waist. She was speechless, she didn't know what to say after that symphony of words. "I..." she began to say but heard knocking at the door. She jumped away from Atem- scared of who might see them. She couldn't get him in trouble. Now that she was away from his touch, she felt so cold.
[[Should Seto be the one banging? I was thinking of her and Atem continuing somewhere else since they are in a room full of sick and hurt people that are sleeping XD Not romantic.]]

Amia smiled and took his arm as she hoisted herself up onto the horse and in front of him "so..... where are we going?" she asked curiously as she leaned her head back to look up at him with a smile.
Atem got up and straightened his clothes.

Seth walked in and saw Atem in the room. typical for the prince to check up on Amme. "I assume you are finished with your work?" he asked Amme as he crossed his arms and looked at her with a serious expression.

He kept his arms around her when she got up onto the horse. She had leaned her head back to look up at him, he nuzzled his head slightly (and unconscously) to hers. He had realzed what he did and he moved his head back a bit. Some pink showed on his cheeks. "Where going to go to my favorite spot," he said as he gave the command for his horse to go. They galloped into the desert.
Amme nodded her head. she was nervous that their was blush on her face. She was pretty sure that Seth didn't realize what was going on. "Yes, I finished," she said. She knew what that meant- she had to stay in her room all day. What a waste, she could be helping people but instead she was stuck in her room like a little child. Not to mention, she wanted to spend time with Atem. "Might my High Priest Seth be willing to shorten my lock down?" she said with a smile. Hoping by some miracle he would say yes. She was inbetween her believing he would and doubting he would.
