((Sorry for the late response, I went to the NKOTB/Natasha Bedingfield Concert this weekend, so I was out of town for a few days! sweatdrop xd ))

*Scully puts a surprised look on her face as the little squirrel climbs to her shoulder*

"Why hello there." she says politely.

"The experimenting didn't go as well as I had hoped." says replies with blatant disapproval on her face before it returns to normal. "The berries I'm sure will work sooner or later but....it seems to be that Elven DNA is even more unusual than I knew."

*She returns Elspeth's hug which came after her reply and gladly takes the wonderful piece of pie and a cup of tea. She sits down in one of the chairs and sips the tea.*

"Thank you Els, your cooking is utterly magnificent." Scully says with a small smile. Not wanting to interrupt the conversation they had going before she entered, she graciously takes a small bite of the berry pie.

"diamond birch leaves? The palace gardens must be a special place indeed!" she mumbles amazedly. The conversation continues, and not having anything to add on the topic of experiments, Minas lapse into comfotable silence. Finally, her head starts to nod. 'oh, my goodness, I'm sorry, I must have been drowsing! I think I will retire for the night, if you don's mind. Thank you both for such a wonderful evening, and for your hospitality, Els. I will seee you in the morning. Goodnight." she flashes a sheepish smile at both of the elves, and with a little humming tune, her belongings float after her on her way to the room Elspeth had prepared for her.

*A small crooked smile was perched on Scully's face as she thought to herself about how its really useless to eat this...food. Yet it was the simple things she still longed for that made her hope for a return to normal. She bowed her head a bit to Mina as she headed upstairs to the room. A few seconds after Mina leaves the room, Scully turns her attention to the small velvet bag on the table before her*

"Hmm, yes...thank you Elspeth for these. I keep forgetting how much stuff you really do have over in that palace of yours" she says with a silky voice. She sighed and knew she had to bring something else up, especially now that Mina had left the room.

"I wanted to tell you Els that I've not only been messing around with the chance of Invisibility......but also a temporary cure." Her face was rigid and her blue eyes fixed on Elspeth. "When I got...attacked a while back and got this, I do not know who else was attacked. I've heard rumors they are other Elves who have this curse who haven't presented themselves yet and that could be bad, very bad." says says. Scully tries to read Elspeth's face for a sign of understanding. "As much as I want to help save the lives that are here..." her eyes darted to the ceiling indicating the other person in the house, ".....I cannot deny the fact of what I am."

*She takes another breath and exhales in slowly.*

"There's something happening outside of this forest, in the cities. I can feel it....but I've also heard rumors that other forces of evil have been attacking each other close to the cites. Aekea, Durem....most of them all are involved."

*She feels Elspeth's emotion and nods slightly*

"Yes, I have heard of some ways and none of them are painless or pretty." she says solemnly. "As for the problems in the cities, I have no intentions of interfering with them at the moment. When I came to this forest years ago, I understood the tradition of us only interfering when it was necessary. I've always respected that, as I still do. But I feel the emotions of the humans there, even this far away. It's not much, just a small feeling, but I feel their fear. I can only hope none of it spreads this way and that the humans can find their way out of this mess." Scully states.

*She takes her last bite of the remaining pie on the table in front of her. Even if she never really slept much now a days, she knew it was getting pretty late and it would be the respectable thing to let Elspeth get some sleep.*

"I believe it is getting pretty late." Scully says and gives a sheepish smile as she stood up. "Would you mind terribly if I stayed here for the night Elspeth?" she asks.

"Thank you." she replies and makes her way upstairs to the room she had just set up.

*Once in the room, Scully notices the drink Elspeth has left for her and picks up the glass while she gives it a look over*

"Hmmm...well it certainly can't hurt." she says and takes a few sips of it. After she finishes it, she sets the glass down and curls up in the bed under the covers.

*breezes through the front door and her flowing white nightgown and loose hair swishes behind her*
"Good morning, Elspeth! Nothing like watching the sun rise over the tree tops, is there?" *stretches and the squirrel pokes his head our of her pocket*
"I slept like a baby, you have the most comfortable beds here! How was your sleep?" *steps lightly over to the kitchen and tosses her hair over her shoulder*
"Already busy in the kitchen, I see! Mm, smells good, may I help?"
