First off, I resent that slayers comment =P
But seriously...I forgot that Simone is gonna be with us (the juniors of next year). If there's anyone who could get the club running full throtle, I think she'd be the one...that is, if she's willing to do it, which I sincerely hope she is. That's the only ray of sunlight I've been able to see so far...You're right about Ben and Morgan: they have the ambition...but not the contacts...Morgan lacks in diplomacy, but i think Ben could kiss a** to the admin enough to keep it running

but anyways, I'm willing to do all I can to help the anime club. I'm not the most popular person and defenatly not well respected but I'll still try ^^;; At the very least I'll attempt to give us a good rep... seeing as I keep up my grades, don't have to styaafterschool for other things, and don't ditch detention =P I'm trying to drag as many people as I can intothe club as it is. Next year, I'll probably be a b*tch about things but it's for the club's bext interest? XD;;
to scott and whoever else don't think I'm fit for VP: I'm sorry if I gave you a bad impression. I know I wasn't very involved with the club last year. I know I probably seemed like just another random member but now that I do have power to make a diference you better bet that I'll use it (wisely that is). I joke around about abusing it and stuff but really I'm 100% dedicated to anything I join/care about and anime club is one of those things that I truely want to see flourish.
For this year, I'm sorry if this offends anyone but I'm sick and tired of bugging the current officers to do their jobs. So really, if you're not going to do it then I'll attempt to fill in for you. It might not be my place and I might not have any power as of yet but I'm hell not going to let the club die this year 'cause you guys want to screw around istead of take things seriously. This includes just about everyone except Alex (whom I love dearly for he's the only responsible one), Scott (when he doesn't bail), and Lee and Jon just 'causeI can't do their jobs -_-;;;
but really, if nothing else, what bugs me most is that the OFFICERS don't take things seriously. I understand that you want to be part o the activities but please also understand that when you get voted, people are RELYING on you. You can't just think of yourself first then the members. To be a leader of any kind means putting others before yourself and if you can't do that, then you don't deserve power. I know the freshmen aren't great this year but blaiming all our problems on them isn't fair. It's not just the freshmen causing problems. the core of the problem is that we're too friendly with them. We playaround with them instead of acting like upperclassmen and setting an example. we're asking something of them that we're NOT doing ourselves.
As for Ben, he's just lovely ^_^ *huggles him* and his mom is great too o_o; but I think he has what it takes to keep the club open. He might not have the popularity but he's a sweetheart. He has a docile nature that teachers love and even if he's quite, he has a passion for the anime club that Redd and I share and the rest of the club seems to lack.
Morgan is a good member and minor officer. I could never see her as anything above that. she's lively and good at keeping the club entertained but she can't handle power now does she have the maturity to use it. I know that was harsh but please do understand. I think of the anime club as a second family right now. I love spending time with the people in it but there are just some things that cannot be. some of you I know well and some I'd like to know better but we're all part of a club. Morgan's a great friend but she'll never be able to hold the responsibilities of pres, VP, or secretary.
