Jasper took his other hand and placed it on her cheek. " Amanda. your not worthless. Your life has a meaning. You might want to keep this. You never know when you'll lose your family. This will be a reminder of them. In a good way." Jasper said wiping away her tears. Jinxy flew around them in circles.

Amanda sighed. "Yeah I am usless.. I'm a magnet for danger" she said looking at him. She noticed Jinky and chuckled lightly.

Jasper wiped a tear away and leaned into her. He looked like he was about to kiss her. " Your not. And don't say that you are. Ever!" He said looking into her eyes. "Got it?" Jinxy bumped the back of Jasper. He was now centimeters from Amanda's face. Jinxy giggled and Jasper turned and grabbed his wing and pulled him down to the bed.

Amanda blushed almost three shades of red. Amanda couldn't answer his question becuase of Jinxy. "Did Jinxy just..u giggle" Amanda was trying to brush the blush off.

" He is a strange bat..." Jasper said still holding Amanda's hand. He smiled. " Nice red color" He commented to her blushing. He smirked and looked down at Jinxy. " Aww Jasper you...." Jasper grabbed Jinxy so he couldn't finish what he was going to say.

Amandas eyes widen "he..he talks?" she praticly studdered. She was blushing again becuase he cuaght her. She tried to brush that one off too.

"Told you he was strange. " Jasper said letting go of Jinxy. Jinxy circled Jasper and then circled Amanda. Jasper stood up and walked around the room. He put hi hood up as he got closer to the window. "Did you put this up?" Jinxy smiled. "No it was the Chair. " Jasper pointed two fingers at Jinxy and closed them together. This zipped Jinxy's mouth closed in a way so he couldn't talk anymore.

Amanda was still a little shocked by the talking bat. "y-yeah.." she whispered. She looked down at the locket she promised to keep. The chain was broken. She looked up at Jasper.

Jasper walked past the window over to a jewerly box. "Here" He said and gently tossed her a new silver chain. Jasper's neck shined to Amanda, but what really shined was a silver chain.

Amanda took the locket and put it on the new chain. She didn't say anything about the chain around his neck. She leaned back on the head board and started to put the necklace around her neck.

Jasper in a flash was behind her. "Here..." Jasper said as he took her necklace and placed it around her neck and clipped it. Jasper looked at her neck. He quickly looked away and stood up. The hood showed his eyyes gleaming at her beauty.

Amanda was still a little shocked at how fast he could move. She dropped her hands to her lap as he clipped her necklace together. When he pulled away she noticed his eyes. For some reason she looked down at her hands."thanks.."

Jasper followed her glance. He had a hurt look on his face. does she not want to look at me? Jasper sent his thoughts to Jinxy No maybe you are just a big scary meani who stole my voice away and... Jasper toned out Jinxy and sat down in front of Amanda. "Is something wrong?"

"Be honest.." Jasper said standing up again. He turned his back to Amanda. " Are you afraid of me?" He asked very hurt. What was this. Was he starting to like a human?!?!
