"That's fine with me. The more the merrier." Eve said with a small smile as she looked to Leena, giving Tuin a hunk of meat to eat as she patted his neck.

Leena smiled slightly, picking up another sushi, popping it into her mouth as she turned to the windows, staring out onto the part of her kingdom that she could see. Glancing to the rest of them, she murmured a spell, holding out her hand. "By the way, the sting you all felt earlier held something that would track us. It was a needle. Most likely sent by that woman you almost attacked Roran." She explained, watching as the substance gathered slowly above her palm, her golden eyes distant. Holding out her other palm, her eyes flashed a little, a mouth with sharp teeth opening in her palm, closing its jaws around the misty cloud. The thing in the palm of her hand would send it to another dimension, it's stomach essentially. The mouth smacked its lips before vanishing as if it were never there, turning back to the window then. Her eyes grew distant once more, holding herself as she stared out at her kingdom again.

"I'm quite aware." Eve murmured. Her voice had changed. It sounded older and much more serious, but it left as soon as it came and she blinked. "That thing? Oh, I thought it was a bug bite. I knew about the lady following us, but, oh well..." She sighed, sounding normal again.

Roran stayed quiet, ignoring Cori's question for a long moment as he listened to Eve's and Leena's convorsation. He could have spoke up at anytime to put in his personal thoughts, but he didn't. Finally opening his mouth to speak, his voice was soft as Leena talked to one of her people. "Mereth is far different from Moth," he was obviously speaking to Cori, but the way he gazed out the window mad it seem otherwise. Eve and Leena began speaking again, Roran's attention being drawn away from Cori. "I figured as much," he said as Leena talked of the tracking device, "No allergic reaction came in my arm." Eve spoke now, and Roran immediatly went on alert. "What?!?" He looked to the princess, his eyes then moving back and forth as he surveyed the room. "No one was following us," he stated, "Who did you notice?" Aki had left, she didn't follow. Who else in Mereth would try to track us?

Cori looked up at that, though she'd been listening the whole time. She didn't remember anyone following them, but she hadn't been paying nearly as much attention as she should have been. She never said anything, not responding to Roran as his attention was elsewhere.

"For now, she's nothing to worry about. Tuin noticed her first. He says she's just some old lady or something." Eve said as she smiled to Roran, trying to make him calm down some.

Roran was far from calm. "s**t s**t s**t." Rushing to the door into the hall, he closed it, making sure it wasn't even open a crack. Running to the windows, he scanned the grounds. "We need a plan." He spoke quickly. If their security had already been breached, they needed to leave. "We need some place safe to stay an-" he stopped himself, realizing what he had said. "You," he made it clear whom he meant, "need a new place to stay." Walking over to Tuin, he looked the beast in the eyes. "How long were you being followed? From Aduial, or after you got into Mereth, and how far behind you were they?" Roran knew the consequences here. If their trackers had been more than a good mile or two behind, or if they had been tracked all the way from Aduial, then whoever was following them was a hunter from Moth. "This is really crucial," he told Tuin, his tone dead serious.

"After we made it into Mereth after the first initial attack. If this woman was more of a threat I would not even allow Eve to be in daylight at the moment." Tuin replied calmly. Eve just watched the two quietly, not sure what all the fuss was about.

Cori sighed, looking to Eve. "Why do they always seem to think we can't take care of ourselves or that we don't have a bit of common sense?" she asked, leaning on her bow. Strung, it was only a few inches shorter than she was, even with the recurve.

Eve shrugged, sighing also. "I'm not as dumb as everyone thinks I am..." She said, sounding a bit hurt.

Cori cocked her head. "Course not. But once again, they're all a bunch of idiots. Why, you're starting to believe them?" she asked, watching her friend.

With a light sigh, Eve just shrugged again and then sat down at the table to let Tuin and Roran talk.

Cori watched her for a second before going to sit down beside her. "Eve, don't. None of them know you. They don't know what you can do, that you could kick most their asses in anything you wanted to. Don't let them get to you." she said softly, wondering briefly when she'd become a pep talker.

"Yeah, well I'm tired of not being given the benefit of the doubt while I give it to everyone else." Eve said before she rose from her seat and walked out of the room, disappearing down the various corridors very quickly.

Roran's eyes seemed to squint as he glared at Tuin. "An old lady?" Roran's mind immediatly ran through all the scenarios. Keeping his gaze on Tuin, his eyes reverted back to normal. "She could've been a vampire. If that's the case, as was with the one in the market earlier, this city m ight be infested with them. We need to keep Eve under constant watch." Turning to look at the princess, she was gone. "Eve?"
