Namon was not fooled by the initial trick, for he knew he had completed his two kidos, even if Nagi made it sound differently.
However, the Third Seat comment took Namon by surprise.
"Third Seat? What? I thought I still had to pass a test!" Namon said, completely shocked at how easy it was, "Am I really the Third Seat?"

Nagi smiled and waved as Yoh galloped from the scene. His attention then turned to Namon, who appeared to be rather astonished by the news.

"It's required that you learn two kidos upon entry." Nagi simply explained as he walked over to his field bag to gather his things. "The test you mentioned is only for those who transfer to this division from another with prior kido training and rank. Third seat is vacant and you were the first to finish your two kidos. Naturally, the spot is yours."

Glancing around briefly to make sure that everything was inside the bag and not somewhere on the ground, Nagi pulled the drawstring closed and lifted the bag onto his shoulder. The contents of the bag mad a sloshing sound as he did this, making him hope that the corks in the bottles were secured. He didn't particularly care to get his notes all wet.

"So, is everything okay with you?" he grinned over to Namon.

Namon was still shocked, but he looked up at Nagi and smiled. "Yeah, everything's great!" he said, "What should I do now, though?"

Yuki showed up to the training grounds. They where the closest to the entrance of the 5th squad, so she planned on passing through them to save time on her way to Nagi's office, but she was fortunate enough to find him just polishing up training.

With a devilish grin she suppressed her riatsu, hopefully he hadn't already noticed her. She snuck up behind him, quiet and stealthy as possible as he lectured to his student. Just when she was close enough to touch him, she grabbed his shoulders and shouted.

"NAGI!"

For a moment, the kido master looked as though his blue eyes were about to jump out of their sockets as the loud voice rang out and the grabbing hands were felt. He found himself leaning back a bit from the light weight that was resting on his shoulders, feeling as though something had burst from the ground and was pulling him downward. Baffled by what just happened, Nagi didn't really retaliate (thankfully). Surely if this person were some kind of assassin, he'd already be dead by now. He would have deserved it for his carelessness. That truly would have been a rather embarrassing way to go though...

It didn't take too long before the voice and height suddenly registered. He smiled as he reached over his shoulder and placed a hand on top of her's.

"Hello, Yuki." he said cheerfully, definately thankful that he didn't retaliate. "It's nice to see you."

Yuki bust up laughing, only wishing that she could see the look on his face as he jumped in shock. Sadly, he didn't even have to look over his shoulder to identify her; taking the fun out of making him look over his shoulder fifty times before realizing that she was too short to be seen.

"You haven't seen me yet, though"

She said, nitpicking his grammar as she walked around to his side. Only now did she see the celebrating student, and wondered what kind of test he had just passed that was worth jumping around like that.

Nagi merely laughed, realizing how disappointed she was that he figured out who it was so easily. Perhaps it was because his senses were still raised from the training he had finished instructing. Any other time, and he would have probably spill hot tea on himself, fall off a building or god knows what other type of chaos would occur. That was just his luck.

"You should get some rest, Namon." Nagi replied to his third seat's question, which had been briefly stalled. "You worked hard today so don't hesitate to relax for a while."

With that, he finally turned to completely face Yuki.
"My division member here had finally earned his seat." He explained, filling in the blanks that were possibly popping up inside her mind. "It's about time too... It's been a long day though."

Though he appeared to be cheerful as always, Nagi looked a bit tireder than usual. Dark circles were visible under his reddening eyes while his skin appeared paler than usual.

Yuki turned away from watching the newly seated member to see Nagi's face. He appeared to be a little paler than usual, she didn't see the dark circles under his eyes right away because of the tattoos on his face, but after a critical stare she saw them. She had to wonder if he was pulling all night-ers again.

"Nagi... Have you been sleeping enough lately?"

She asked, putting her hands on his shoulder's. It was mostly to see if he was lieing rather than to comfort him. But she massaged his shoulders a little bit to help ease out some of the tension that had built up from his training.

Staring into her face for a moment, Nagi couldn't help but allow her cuteness distract him away from the question. It wasn't so hard really, considering he didn't want to even think about it. Up until now, he never really thought about it. Perhaps it was because he had been so busy lately with all these new recruits coming in.

"Ummm... I really don't know. define lately." Nagi responded nervously, unwilling to really give a definite answer. He knew the truth the more he thought about it but wasn't going to let himself believe it.

Yuki stopped her massage when Nagi didn't respond right off the bat. He must be getting less sleep then he was letting on. She waved her hand in front of his face for a moment in hopes of snapping him out of it. When he finally responded she smiled. At least he wasn't having nightmares about his past or anything, that would really be bad. Now she could get down to what she came there for.

"Well if your having trouble sleeping you can always stop by my office again."

She said with a joking smile crossing her face. She looked down as she got to the point.

"I was just heading over to your office... You know what day it is?"

She asked, with a sly smile as if she expected him to know.

Indeed, the waving hand did pull him out of his trance for a moment. He liked the idea of stopping by her office in the middle of the night again but he wasn't about to let himself do that every night like a little kid wanting to sleep with his parents because there's a monster in his closet. The situation briefly played through his mind, making him bite his bottom lip as he pictured himself desperately fleeing for his life while Yuki was throwing rocks at him in her rainbow and penguin PJs. Suddenly, that last question sank in and he found himself standing there facing her once more.

He quizzingly raised his eyebrow, trying to scan his mind for what could be so interesting about that day.
"Nope, I really couldn't tell you." he said, giving her a sheepish smile.

Yuki raised both eyebrows at how Nagi didn't remember what day it was. It was the most important day of their collective afterlives! She could have blamed it on his obvious lack of sleep, but the thought didn't cross her mind as she went through several of the least likely options possible. The first and foremost being that Nagi didn't really care about their Anniversary. Her eyes shifted from sadness to anger over a few moments.

"Nagi...HOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER?!"

She shouted, slapping him across the face at the end of her outburst. She turned around and stormed a little way away, trying not to let it get to her wile she gave him another moment to remember.

((Haha... your asking that to somebody who has forgetting down to a science. XD))

Like whiplash, Nagi suddenly found himself even more confused then he already was for his face now stung more than it ever had before. He had no desire to really find out what it would have been to be on the receiving end of one of Yuki's slaps. He quickly realized how unpleasant it actually was. Having fallen for her fiery and somewhat violent nature, Nagi had a high tolerance for pain and was also patient and understanding enough to know that he deserved it somehow.

Though physical pain rarely bothered him, the throbbing sting began to sink in to his mind, making him focus on a whole new level. It was that restless, absolute need to know- just what was he supposed to remember? He wasn't ever asked something like that before and quite frankly did not know how to respond to it. The thing that threw him off the most was Yuki's burst of anger that had flared so suddenly. He'd seen her like this many times yet it wasn't quite like this.

At first, he didn't know what to say. Just as she turned to walk away from him, he had the notion to stop her but was afraid to try at the same time. If he did stop her, just what would he do then? His head was so mixed with emotions and questions he couldn't really think straight at all. He wasn't entirely happy about this but he wasn't angry either. It was difficult to entirely describe what he was feeling actually. Since it was the first time she was truly angry at him, he was definately grieved by it for it was something he had done- him and his faulty memory. He should have known it would get him into trouble eventually.

Should he apologize and hope it will be accepted, or was it going to take more than that? Excuses were not an option to him for they only expressed a person as incapable of accepting the truth. After a moment, he just supposed he'd do his best to answer her as earnestly as possible.

"I'm sorry, I don't." he said, his voice somewhat shaky. It wasn't until he spoke that he realized that his hands were quivering. "I honestly can't."

Yuki stood there for a moment fuming at the vary idea, of all the things for Nagi to forget he had to forget their anniversary... THEIR ANNIVERSARY?! Couldn't he chose something less important to forget of all things? He seemed to stand there for a long time before actually saying anything, God what an air head!!! She turned violently on her heel, eyes blazing.

"HOW COULD YOU FORGET OUR ANNIVERSARY?!"

She demanded, screaming at the top of her lungs and throwing her arms.

"Of all the events in the world you had to forget this one, you and your memory! Sometimes I don't believe how air headed you can be!"

She went on a mini rant before turning around to scream at the air, and storm around in circles saying things that didn't sound good for Nagi.

Namon bowed and stepped away, heading back for the barracks.
