I sat curled up on the floor, Large head phones the incassed my ear blasted music into them through my iPod. I sat with a drawing pad in my lap, a pencil in my hand, and several more pencils in my hair. I watched and studied the group playing cards as I drew them. My bracelletes clinked together as my wrists moved. My jeans were torn at the right knee, my skate board was strapped to my large bak-pack and my Disturbed band tee shirt was about three sizes too big, just the way I like it. My brown eyes sparkled as I scanned over the group and began the shading part. I was close enough to over hear a couple arguing over somebody's business, which meant he had to be speaking fairly loud enough for me to hear it over my music. after hearing the PA anouncement about the delay, I decided to kill time by drawing. My stomach growled violently at me, but I had no money, so getting food was nothing but a hopeless dream.

Lizzie picked up the cards and shuffled them again. She explained the rules to Dai Hi Min (Rich Man, Poor Man). She settled down, reading the cards.

Anna checked her watch. It was becoming a habit. Then looked down at her cards. she took her turn then looked around. The others were concentrating on the cards, a couple argued a few seats down, and a bit farther away a girl sat listening to music and sketching. almost all the other seats were empty. it seemed not many people were waiting for the flight. Think, conversation, something to distract her.
"I've never heard of this game before where did you learn it?" she asked looking up at both of the others who had said they already knew how to play. Maybe one of them would have a story to tell, or something.

"hmm, I learned it from my deceased Mother when I was very little. It was her favorite game.." Hitomi mentioned as she suddenly felt sad. Her Mother had died a few years back because of some strange illness.

She didn't want to say it, but she did. She felt she had to be truthful. "My maid taught it to me." she said simply, leaving it at that.

Mai looked in shock from his outburst, but in truth she was being sarcastic in her actions.
Gasping, she widened her eyes.
"Oh no! He's gotten angry at me! What ever shall I do?" She said, in a girly-er voice than normal.
She then laughed, sort of evily.
"Wow. If you don't want me to know what's so bad about your life, then fine." Mai said, shrugging it off.
"So, what do you like to do? Hobbies? I'm an uprising actress." Mai queried, glancing briefly at the group, who, with some members, had seemed to notice her and Liam. She smiled, and twiddled her fingers in a wave, before turning her attention back to the boy beside her.

Hitomi was darkingly becoming more sad. "Were.. you, umm, close to your maid?" Hitomi said while stuttering. She noticed a girl from across the seats wave at her and the people she was around. She smiled brightly and waved back. 'Everyone here is just so nice...' She thought.

"She's my adoptive mother now." she said, "So, yeah, we're close." she wasn't sure why she was telling this to strangers. If she wasn't careful she'd be spouting about how she'd been disowned and her mother committed suicide.

I reached over and touched the back of Hitomi's hand. My touch was light and comforting.
"I'm sorry you lost your mother," I said sincerely. I turned to Lizzie, but before I could ask about why she was living with her maid, I noticed not only the spoiled girl waving at us, but I noticed a girl drawing in the corner with her headphones on. I tried to catch her attention, but she was staring attentively at her paper, drawing furiously.

Liam looked at where Mai was waving at. "Yeah, I've noticed them watching us too...I'm sure they think we are dating." He looked back at Mai and smiled a little more. "I'm sure we are giving them quite the show. So your going to be an actress huh? Good luck with that, as for me, I really don't have a future. Just to cross the country and such." Liam looked down then shook his head. "Sorry for blowing up on you like that, I don't like talking about my past, it's kinda touchy for me still." What the hell?! Why am I apologizing! I don't care about her...do I?

Choosing to ignore his first statement, Mai moved right along to answering the latter.
"Hmm. That's fine, I mean everyone's got something they're touchy on." Mai stated, a smile forming on her face.

I finished up the shading on the drawing of the group, and smiled. I had succesfully caught the emotion in everyones eyes, even the saddened girl. I signed it and unfurled myself, I grabbed my bag and trhough it over my shoulder. Sarah lifted her head and got up to follow me as I walked the short distance to the group and knelt down. I placed the paper in the center of their group, on top of the cards. I gave them a weak smile and my stomach verbally attacked me again. I went bck to my seat and started rumiging around in my bag for food or money. But yet again I was at a seviere lack of both necesities. Sarah whined from hunger as well and placed her head in my lap. One of the reasons why I love Sarah so much is that she would try to protect me from my father, she would growl and bark at him and even bit him once. She stood guard at me door during the night. really she just slept at the foot of my bed, but if dad ever tried to come in, she would rip his head off. I stroaked her head and scrathed behind her ears, "Don't worry Sarah, we'll be going soon." I closed my eyes and layed my head back, trying to sleep away everything. If only that could work.

Hitomi blushed. "Ahh, really, it's okay. But thank you.." The girl that was drawing was now flustered and searching her bag. Hitomi was in a let's-meet-everyone-around-me mood. Considering she only saw six other people waiting for a delayed flight. Hitomi thought it was a full blown plane but maybe it was some kind of small jet of something...
She walked up to the girl and smiled, "Hi, I'm Hitomi. Do you need any help with something?"

I opened my eyes and Sarah lifted her head off my lap, I blinked a couple of times before I finally got full vision of the girl standing infront of me. I pulled off my head phones and tried not to seem scared, "I'm okay, thank you though." Sarah whined again and I scratched her head and ears again, "Shh." i said trying to soothe her. I looked back up to the girl, "I'm Stephy, and this is Sarah," I said indicating the dog lounging in my lap.

Liam nodded and then looked at Mai curiously. "Then what are you touchy on? if you don't mind me asking" Now I am bonding?! What have I come to? I need to get away from this girl...and soon... He started to look around a bit to try and find a reason to leave. He can't bond with anyone! It just wasn't him, yet here he was bonding with this girl that he knows nothing about, a complete stranger!
