"Whoever is at the door may enter..." Bullene's voice came from within. He was frustrated, tapping a pen on his desk. His paperwork was beginning to pile up on him. Bullene's feelings of disdain had recently grown. He hated being cooped up in his office. Taking a sip of the steaming coffee on his desk, he attempted to complete as much paperwork as he could. That is, until he came to a fresh sheet of paper. 'Work Order' it said... "A mission?" Bullene said, reading over the packet. "Finally..." Work had been slow lately for his squad members, who he could tell were beginning to grow bored. Who should I send? The captain thought to himself, scratching his chin. Lost in his thoughts, he had forgotten that he allowed the person who knocked upon his door entry.

Layla opened the door, walking in and left it open for Clare whom also seemed to have buisness with Bullene. She stepped forward, and slightly bowed in front of her Captain's desk, seeing he was extremely busy. This was motivation for her to keep it short, and simple.
"Bull-taichou, I just wanted to inform you, that you are an exceedingly skilled fighter, and it has been an honor being in your squad..." she told him, blushing.
"But I am relieving my seat and I am going to be assisting Squad 12 with their research sir. I have already put in a squad-transfer, and will clean out my room in the barracks."
She took a step back, and moved aside so that the newest member of the 7th Division can also adress ad take care of her buisness as Layla silently awaited a response. She felt guilty, and ashamed that she was trying to be more assertive with her own intentions in mind. He was so handsome and muscley, but she had to keep her priorities in mind. She had quite alot in her thoughts at the time and planned on just advancing as best she saw fit.

Clare noticed that the door was left open. Does she want me to enter as well? she thought for a second as she took a few steps toward the door to peek inside. She had only heard about the captain from the teachers who knew him at the academy, but she didn't know how much weight to give their responses. Reality was always so different from what you hear about a person, but this time they seemed to be dead on. Even as the captain sat in his chair, he seemed very tall and muscular, just like they had said; a female teacher whose secret Clare would take to the grave also told her about how good looking he was and about the crush that she had on him for a long time. I'll admit that he is rather good looking, but his face isn't my type, she thought honestly still processing her thoughts for those few seconds of peeking around the corner.
After she heard about the woman's squad transfer, Clare was taken aback slightly; right after she found someone that she could compete with to become better as a shinigami and as a woman, her short term rival would be leaving the squad. Dang... there goes that source of fun... she thought with a sad twinge. Clare noticed that the woman had stepped back and to the side after making her announcement, and she took that as a sign that she was supposed to enter the room and also say what she had to say.
Clare walked in the room seemingly full of pride but was in fact filled with nervousness, which for a change wasn't being drained by her zanpakto as much as it usually was. Centered on the desk, Clare made a full bow at the waist and after straightening back out, said, "My name is Clare Mai Watson, and I just wanted to come and introduce myself to you Captain Bullene-sama, and say how excited I am to have been accepted into your squad, how hard I plan on working to better both myself and the squad to make you proud of that decision. Thank you sir." Surprisingly her voice didn't shake much at all. It was just her usual clear and light tone filling the room and hopefully meeting her captain's approval.

"Clare..." Layla said, inclining her head to the newcomer, as her red hair fell over her face.
She brushed it back, and looked into the shingami's eyes. Layla's eyes were a deep green, and intense; but had a softness in their steady gaze.
Holding out her hand, she pursed her lips in a bit of a smile before she opened them again, speaking to the girl who just entered.
"It is nice to have you in this squad, I am Layla Kujiku, current 4th Seat, at least for the next couple of days or so." she said, biting her lip.
"I am sorry I cannot be here to assist in your training any, but you will find there are quite a few of the sereitei's renowned 'elites' here to oblige you. But if you'd like, I would be more than happy to come by sometime and check up on your progress. Just between us girls.." she winked sectrely to Clare.
She was nervous, beause she still felt uncomfortable about having just given her captain her resignation, and in front of the newest member no-less.

((Dammit, Layla! I was about to send you on a mission...))
Bullene's eyes dropped slightly at Layla's news. "All right then..." His eyes did not meet hers. "You are dismissed." His tone was flat, hiding his disappointment.
"You..." Bullene said, acknowledging Clare. "Just don't mess things up." Bullene continued to scan over the mission order, trying to choose a new candidate for the mission.

Layla's face had a solomn look on it, as she heard the captain's tone. She aimed it at the floor, to hide the tears that were beginning to form. She was taken aback by his briefness, but what did she expect? It wasn't exactly complimentary telling your superior you wished to be somewhere else. Reaching up to push her hair back, she wiped away the tears and looked at her former captain, whom was not returning the gaze.
This was a bit too much and she lost control of it as a black line traced itself down her cheek as the teardrop escaped her eye. "Yes sir." she choked.
In an instant, Layla turned and disappeared so quick you would have thought she already learned shuunpo, only leaving the one tear to hit the carpet before she left.

None of the teachers had said much about her captain's personality, and judging from the few words he was very busy on this particular day. Unfortunately the captain had spoken up before Clare could respond to Layla's greeting, and Layla had already ran off so quick that Clare immediately gave up on the thought of trying to catch her to finish that introduction.
Just don't mess things up, she ran the thoughts back over in her mind, not finding any approval or disapproval. Perhaps he was fairly upset by Layla's resignation... she wondered idly, and responded with some energy, "I won't let you down, Captain Bullene-sama." Clare paid him another full bow and turned to the door to walk out.
After she had left the office, it felt like her zanpakto's life had returned, attempting to pull away all of her negative emotions. Hopefully I will understand you one day, she projected the thought toward the sword quietly. "Now on to the vice captain," Clare said to herself with a rather hopeful smile.

Sho entered the building that houses the Captains office and heads down the hall to it. seeing the door open he knocks on it and pokes his head in and says, "Master, Sho Yuuki requests to speak with you if you have a few moments ..... "

"What is it?" Bullene said shortly. He wasn't in a good mood and it affected the feeling of the room. Bullene was tense and needed to relax. He was overworked.

Sho stepped in and could feel the tension in the air. He looked at his leader and says, "I just wanted to drop in and say that I was headed to go get some sushi and a couple of drinks. Wanted to know if you wanted to join me ... but I can see you have your hands full at the moment. I'll get with you later Master ...." Sho bows and heads out the door.

((I was hinting that I was about to go and relax in the Hot Springs...))
Bullene slammed his pen on the desk. He couldn't stand sitting like this anymore. Bullene stood up so rapidly, his desk moved four inches across the room. He switched out his shirt, not even buttoning up his clean one. Grabbing a towel, he left his office, locking the door behind him.

Sho walks into the Captains building and up to his office door. Stopping to fix his uniform he looks at the door and takes a deep breath then knocks on the door .... talking to himself he says, "Please be here ... where the hell is everyone?"

Lena walks up to the building that has the Captain's office in it and stops short of entering it. She had heard that he doesn't like to be bothered but, in her eyes it was important. She walks up the steps and enters the build. Stopping at the guard desk she says, "Hello ... my name is Lena and I'm new to the sqaud. Is Captain Bullene in? I would like to speak to him about getting a room." The guard says, "You can check his office. I'm not sure if he is in or not." Lena bows to him and walks up to the door and knocks ....

Ren walks into the building, looks around and says "aw geese the captain ain't in I guess I'll just have to leave a note." Ren takes out a pen and starts righting a simple note requesting a squad tranfer to squad 11 and so on so fourth, puts it on his desk then leaves.
