I don't know that there are specifically shark people, but I'll work on something while I'm driving for FOUR HOURS. I may or may not throw in Triton, but I guess you'll be the result of a shark person hooking up with a human, one of which had bronze dragon somewhere in their ancient history. Or something. You wanted bronze dragon, right? In exchange, you have to write me one kick a** history to explain all this.
Also, I saw the Murloc game, but I didn't think much about it since I don't play WoW.

Jet-o, working on your race. Or half your race anyway. Currently called the sharkin, they are blatantly based off of a random mix of sahuagin, triton, and actual sharks. Here's the current racials:
Sharkin medium humanoid HD: 2d8+2 (11 hp) Initiative: +2 Speed: 5 ft, swim 50 ft AC: 17 (+2 dex, +5 natural), touch 12, flat-footed 15 BAB/Grapple: +2/+3 Attack: trident, spear, or bite (1d8+1) Full Attack: trident or spear and bite Space/Reach: 5 ft/5 ft Special attacks: -- Special Qualities: blindsense, keen scent, speak with sharks, water dependent Saves: fort +3, ref +5, will +4 Abilities: str 13, dex 14, con 12, int 13, wis 12, cha 10 Skills: stuff Feats: more stuff Environment: Water Organization: Solitary, pair, team (5–8 ), patrol (11–20 plus 1 3rd-level lieutenant and 1–2 sharks), band (20–80 plus 100% noncombatants plus 1 3rd-level lieutenant and 1 4th-level chieftain per 20 adults plus 1–2 sharks), or tribe (70–160 plus 100% noncombatants plus 1 3rd-level lieutenant per 20 adults, 1 4th-level chieftain per 40 adults, 9 4th-level guards, 1–4 underpriestesses of 3rd–6th level, 1 7th-level priestess, and 1 baron of 6th–8th level plus 5–8 sharks) Challenge Rating: 2? Treasure: standard Alignment: whatever Advancement: stuff Level adjusment: who knows
Sharkin have the lower halves of sharks, the upper halves resembling men. Their bodies are covered in the sandpaper-like, often grey skin of a shark. They have a fin on their lower back and on their arms to help them swim. Their faces, though humanoid, also have the look of a shark with rows of sharp teeth in their jaws. Sharkin speak their own language as well as aquan. Some can speak common. Most can communicate with sharks. Sharkin often war with the tritons and ally with the sahuagin. They are mostly neutral towards the merfolk although the merfolk are friendly with the tritons.
Blindsense (Ex): sharkin can locate creatures underwater within a 30-foot radius. This ability works only when the shark is underwater. Keen Scent (Ex): sharkin can notice creatures by scent in a 180-foot radius and detect blood in the water at ranges of up to a mile. Speak with Sharks (Ex): Sharkin can communicate telepathically with sharks up to 150 feet away. The communication is limited to fairly simple concepts such as “food,” “danger,” and “enemy.” Sharkin can use the Handle Animal skill to befriend and train sharks. Water dependent (Ex): Sharkin dehydrate if they remain out of the water for too long. They can only be out of the water for an hour per point of constitution before they begin taking one point of non-lethal damage per minute. The damage is paused when they fully submerse themselves in water, but it will not be stopped unless they remain fully submerged for a minute per hour they were out of water. They can stave off the effects of this for an extra hour per point of constitution by keeping themselves moist with water.
The racials for your half-everything-under-the-sea character are being drawn up. I've decided that if you can write a character history in which being what you have asked for makes at least as much sense as the rest of this fantasy world does (politics included) and is interesting/fun/whatever, you will be rewarded with racial powers for each thing you have asked for as it is written into your history. Basically: you want to have dragon in your background, write it into your history and if I like it, you get some dragon-y traits. Same goes for everything else you asked for. SAME GOES FOR YOU SAI-KUN. Except you won't get dragon traits. You'll get changeling traits or something. I'm giving you guys incentives to make your histories interesting because they will influence the plot. I'm doing this because I think you are both fully capable of writing interesting histories. However, if you feel pressured by this, we can talk about it.

Baran you are so good to me heart I have questions wot need answers: Do the islands float, or are they attached to the seafloor? Or some of each? And do they drift with the current, or just sort of magically vanish and pop up elsewhere? Also if I can work it in can my character have legs on land that changes into a tail in the water? XD
I figured that bronze would go well with the water stuff, but gold and silver dragons have cooler abilities. If I'm reading correctly, those are the ones that can shapeshift into things, right?

No worries, this character is interesting enough to HAVE a history...I never even wrote much of a comprehensive history for my valk since she was just a belligerant, no nonsense taking fighter.
She was raised in temples from childhood by men, mostly so she doesn't have much sense of what women are "supposed" to be like.
Anyway...I have a more full fledged story for my changeling in the works.

Oh, I do have a question, Baran.
Since my changeling is specifically hengeyokai...does DnD have lore about the origins of hengeyokai?
Cause traditional changeling mythology reads like a whole lot of paranoid superstition, and leads to things like infanticide/abandoning/child abuse etc, which is all wonderfully angstful, but its usually like "Fairies and trolls take babies away if they're blonde, or if they don't like you!"
Not very substantial fare, if you can imagine.

Jet-o, no, you'll have legs, but your feet will also be fin-like so you can put then together to swim. This means you won't swim as fast as a sharkin, but you will get a swim speed.
The islands float. They are not attached to anything and they are not attached to each other. They drift as if on the current, although whether they are on the actual current or just going where they want to go remains to be seen.
Sai-kun, I don't have to much time right now, but since the mythology is mostly western based, so will the changeling history be. And I've read up on it before so I'll take that and try to make it more useful for you. Hopefully, I'll have it done by tonight.

Fic tiem! My character's maternal grandparents lol:
Kiri knew she couldn't make it home, the state she was in. She pressed her hands against the gash in her side, gills flaring as she panted against the pain. With the last of her strength, she swam towards the kelp bed, hoping to hide herself in its tangles. She pushed through the long strands until she could go no further, hoping this was far enough in that no predator would follow. Frantically she ripped at the seaweed, bunching it into a makeshift pad which she pressed to her side, hoping to staunch the bleeding. The giant octopus had been unexpected; so focused on spearing her catch, she hadn't even sensed its presence until it was almost upon her. A lucky strike with her spear had been all that had allowed her to escape, swimming as fast as she could, hoping her blood did not attract the attention of one of the nearby schools - not even a priestess could calm the sharks when they went into a blood-frenzy.
She had almost relaxed when she sensed movement nearby - something large. She attempted to swim further off, and cursed as she realized she was entangled in the seaweed. She thrashed her tail wildly, sending new waves of pain down her side, realizing that she was trapped, wounded and defenseless. She froze as a hand pushed through the weeds near her, and she looked into the face of her enemy - a Triton. He was as still as she was, but she knew this would end as soon as he realized her state. Taking a deep breath, she gathered her pride and prepared to face death as a warrior of her tribe.
"Finish it, then, but do not think I'll go without a fight."

To start off, trolls are barely tolerated in any society. They barely tolerate each other. They're scattered about the different islands, but they usually keep to themselves and most people prefer it that way. They're not evil, they're just grumpy by nature.
Fey can be found anywhere there is a decent amount of trees. This includes fairies, dryads, satyrs, and the like. Fey are generally friendly sorts, although some of the humans distrust their carefree natures.
Humans have, often enough, found fairies hovering over or fleeing from their infants. Sometimes as little as minutes later the babies begin behaving strangely. Sometimes they simply cry or scream inconsolably for no reason. Even their mothers will swear it's a different child than their angelic infant. But sometimes the change is more physical. They grow fur or scales and their bodies twist into something not quite human. Such infants are usually killed.
Stories that the fairies steal away the infants and replace them with changeling babies because the fairies are evil or mischievous or curious or vengeful. People who listen to the tales know that a human somewhere did something stupid or brilliant sometime that involved a fairy and the changelings were the end result. If the fairies know the story, they aren't telling it.
Changelings that survive infancy rarely gain control of their powers. They are usually killed by their powers or by themselves or by wary villagers. No matter how long they live, they are usually quite insane by the time they're grown.
Sometimes a changeling will have the will to master it's powers by itself, but this is rare. More frequently, a sane changeling was tutored by a fellow changeling. There are even rumors of a network of changelings, but they are very secretive. All changelings guard their shapeshifting powers carefully as they are still in danger of being exiled or killed.
Some changelings are even tutored by fairies. These fairies seem to care a great deal about the changelings, although the changelings are obviously not of fairy stock.
The truth, which few beside the fairies know, is the changeling child is the same that the parents gave birth to. Certain humans pass on the trait of the changeling and when two such humans come together, a changeling is born. Fairies have yet to share with anyone why the humans carry this trait and why they are so connected to the changelings.
As the legends have been written, you are still humanoid, Sai-kun, so spells that affect humanoids still affect you.

Oh ho! The enemy of her people! I am interested to read more, Jet.
Morty, if you would like to join please tell me soon. I'm hoping to get character histories in the next couple days. Then I'll award racial abilities and we can work on character sheets.

Ok, ok, I may still make you immune to spells that target humanoids. I'm such a pushover. xD

Haha its up to you, Baran. Whatever you think will make the campaign interesting.
Also...what form were we going to pick? I'm leaning towards dog, but if you have any other suggestions/ideas, throw em on out there.

Dog is fine. Whatever fits your concept. Or if there's another animal you're interested in, I can work up some stats for it, but it has to be small size or smaller.
