Quote: John Barrowman has admitted his delight a working with actress Elisabeth Sladen - aka the legendary Sarah Jane Smith - on the final episodes of Doctor Who's fourth series. "I'm in love with Lis," confesses Captain Jack's alter-ego in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine. "The first time that I met her, a year or so ago, she was coming out of an elevator. I grabbed her and said, 'I just want to say what an honour it is to meet you. I am so thrilled! Hopefully, we'll get a chance to work together one day.' She was very gracious, but after she'd gone I thought, John, you idiot, you've embarrassed yourself in front of Sarah Jane Smith! "When she came on set for these final episodes," adds John, "there was a point when Davros appeared and I grabbed her hand, and we're looking at each other as John and Elisabeth, looking and thinking, this is so surreal! We were part of history that day. We all had to take in the moment, because it will probably never happen again. And our final scene together - oh, it was beautiful." Other highlights of the new Doctor Who Magazine include: Previews The Stolen Earth and Journey's End; Elisabeth Sladen revealing all about her encounters with Davros - and why Journey's End could be her last ever meeting with the Doctor; Steven Moffat, Doctor Who's showrunner-in-waiting, speaks candidly about talking over the series... and how to write a Doctor Who story; plus Midnight's Lesley Sharp interviewed. There's even a free classic series novel! That's the new Doctor Who Magazine ... I need it ... that bit about why it might be her last time meeting the Doctor has me intrigued ... she can't die 'cause she has her own series XD "Sarah Jane Adventures ... now with 100% less Sarah Jane"

The Doctor: There's no readings. Nothing. Not a trace. Not even a whisper. Ohh, that's fearsome technology. Donna: So what do we do? The Doctor: We've got to get help. Donna: Where from? The Doctor: Donna. I'm taking you to the Shadow Proclamation. Hold Tight!
That's the extract from this week's puzzle.

o-o What made you think that? "to the Shadow Proclamation" means that he's taking Donna to go see them. If it was a planet it wouldn't have the "the", just "I'm taking you to Shadow Proclamation"

Heh, English Lit will be fun biggrin What book are you doing? For AS I did;
The Great Gatsby - F.Scott Fitzgerald. Hamlet - William Shake-my-spear (I'd do him wink back in the day of course XD) Death of a Salesman - Arthur Miller .... (Lamest ... play ... EVER!) Metaphysical Poetry about love - John Donne (Raunchy poems wink )
For A2 we're doing
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte + Another book we haven't been told of yet as coursework. The Canterbury Tales, The Wife of Bath - Chaucer (who knew the middle english were so sex driven wink ) Measure for Measure - Shakespeare.
And there's that damn synoptic paper at A2 too ...

I'm watching Richard and Judy now and they have the actor who plays UNIT's leader and they showed a preview clip, a different one in which it had more Daleks and them talking about the "Crucible" being ready and their invading earth. xp
Also, they said something about UNIT was working from New York! A bit ironic that the last time the Daleks were on earth was in New York in the past. xd sweatdrop

That would be Dramatic Irony, we know something they don't wink Like in Midnight when The Doctor says "What could possibly go wrong?" ... most cliche form of Dramatic Irony there is XD
The interview should hopefully be on the internet soon.
