Vasu absolutely loved to play while flying, and it was even more fun with someone to play with. He was caught off guard again as Cedric took off, and gave a laugh. "Hey!" he cried, and took off in hot pursuit.

The angel looked back, laughing delightedly. "What, can't you keep up?" He called over the rushing wind, then sped up as much as he could. His wings were going to KILL him in the morning, but now he didn't care at all.

Vasu, used to flying at least an hour each day, sped after him, only egged on by Cedric's little taunt. "I'll have you yet!" he called back, and started to climb in altitude, a sneaky plan in mind.

It was inevitable, then, that Vasu catch up. However, Cedric had pretty good stamina, given that he worked with his sword for hours each day, improving his general strength. "Perhaps you should stop speaking and start showing me then!" He continued to taunt the other angel, keeping an eye on him as he climbed higher.

Vasu smirked mischievously, and dove down at Cedric once he got high enough, catching up nearly in one fell swoop. He laughed victoriously as he reached Cedric, and wrapped his arms around his waist, keeping his wings clear of the others and continuing to flap, not wanting them to crash.

The angel half-gasped, and then laughed, wings flared to glide. "That's not fair." He teased, enjoying the feeling of Vasu's warmth against his back.

Vasu chuckled, and nuzzled Cedric before letting go and hovering above him, veering toward the left and diving down again gracefully, just below the other, his speed decreased a bit. He was a little out of breath, but not axhausted from the chase. "You nearly escaped!" Vasu said, glancing back to smirk at Cedric.

"I would have never strayed far." He was dropping back out of the silly mode, his eyes changing from joyfully playful back to something akin to love. He dropped down to the level of the other angel, smiling contentedly, chest rising and falling a bit more rapidly than normal.
After a moment, he grinned. "That was fun."

Vasu chuckled in acknowledgement, and flew close to Cedric. His playful urges were quelled for the moment, and now they were nearly there, flying over a old dirt road, surrounded by a rather baren stretch of land. "Yes, it was!" he said, smiling widely. "Won't be long till we're there, now!"

"Good." He closed his eyes for a moment as he flew, feeling the wind in his face and in his hair and rushing past the feathers on his wings and everything. It was wonderful.

Vasu smirked, Kami's house coming into view. It was surrounded by wide, green fields, followed by spanning forests. A beautiful, serene place to have a home. "There it is!" Vasu called, and started to descend, slowly, unlike last time. There was plenty of room for a slow descent, here.

Cedric opened his eyes again, and looked down at the wonderful view, eyes widening at all that he hadn't seen in the darkness. "Beautiful." He murmured, and then followed his companion's slow descent.

Vasu glided all the way down, landing a short distance from the front porch, kicking up a soft puff out dust as he touched down. He looked back to see where Cedric was, waiting eagerly for him to land.

The angel had started his descent as soon as Vasu had, and so he was only moments behind in touching down, pulling Vasu to him almost immediatly for a deep kiss.
