August 10th is a day I've dabbled with for a while now (and told Cormini and Terraemporer), but as I've not had enough chance to give it any further thought, well just say that's the closing date unless further notice.

That was the idea I had with the closing date. At least the schools over here are opening back up on the 21st/22nd, and for any other school systems that are following in line with that, that should leave about a week and a half on actual gym challenges for the new leaders.

It sounds fun and all, but the process to registering is making my brain hurt. gonk

And the guild isn't taking anymore gym leaders, right? sad

The leader spots are mostly field. If any leaders become inactive and a spot opens up a tournament will be held to fill the gap. You can also join the gyms and fight under a current leader.

Um there are definitely some inactive gym leaders. Flame Haze, Nitrox Dragon, and Extraordinaire. It's not really fair that I don't even have the chance to get their badges. D:

It's rather simple actually. All you have to do is post an 8 Pokemon team (6 pokes + 2 substitutes) that you will use to challenge the gyms with. And with the fallout of two gym leaders, we will be seeking to fill those spots shortly.

I've been seeing that the Gym Leaders don't want voice chat, during battles. I've seen some other leagues before that require voice chats to be on, in order to avoid people botting. Your thoughts?

Its actually kinda nice to voice chat and talk with your challengers.. its kinda like hospitality for the gym and then the news will spread and you'll get more challengers...Same with real-life sitiations(sp?)

@Yokubo-chan (Pee Pee): I can see that happening. But really, we haven't had a problem with botting really. I usually prefer it off because of all the static that tents to seap into the mic for the sound pollution in my house. Not to mention I like listening to the music. smile

@Shadowlugia: It find the voice chat to be rather hard to hear. For better communication, I tend to prefer sending messages via posting or pming. After all, it gives us a chance to collect our thoughts before and after a battle.

@Yokubo-chan (Pee Pee): How could you bott on a videogame that requires you to click an option to battle? I mean wouldnt that be kinda hard to do?

@Cormini: But you know what I mean though, right?
