((Please avoid OOC posts. =3 Leave it for the Chatterbox. And um...onix...you need to go INSIDE the pavilion. x_____O Anzu and Conan are inside the pavilion gardens.))
A passing Senju Chuunin curiously eyed the newcomer. "Wow...the compound sure is busy today..." He commented aside, more to himself however. "I believe Melediana-sama and Charon-sama were saying something about Anzu-sama being in the pavilion with a student." Again, aside...the Chuunin muttered to himself. "How strange...I was almost certain that pretty Hyuuga lady didn't leave with her troope. Oh, pardon me." A small smile. "See that path around the main compound ahead? Follow it until you reach the open pavilion. It's...kind of like a peninsula strip of land, surrounded three sides by the great river." A pause, before he added. "You can't possibly miss it."

"Thank you very much, friend. I will remember this kindness." Megumi began walking in the direction indicated by the child, body-flickering when no one was watching and resuming to his/her composed stride before entering anyone else's sight. Megumi spotted Anzu walking with a child trailing him. I'll never get over how pretty those flowers are. Megumi began walking towards Anzu. four and a half minutes Megumi came upon the two. Turning his/her eyes down, Megumi spoke to Anzu "Anzu-sama. I have returned from my trip. I was scheduled to come back today and I have returned with now just three minutes to spare. If you have already gotten around to today's business, and have branded me as a missing-nin, then I am not here simply to check in, but also to turn myself in. I have no excuses for being as late as I am, and I will not choose to make any. Do as you will. I am once again at the immediate command of Konohagakure." Megumi held his/her posture, seeming frightfully interested with the ground near his/her feet.

Anzu didn't seem to have been fully aware of a newcomer into the pavilion gardens (reference: second picture in the thread's first post). "Yeah, that's right...not a missing-nin...wait a minute..." Anzu stared. "HUH?!" Tick tock. Tick tock. Anzu stared at Megumi. He stared some more. "Um...hey, Nyame-hime? This doesn't count as ANBU duty, does it? (expression: o_____o)" Nyame had abandoned meditating and taken interest in the plants as well. The Hyuuga councilwoman eyed Anzu strangely. "Anzu no baka. Council of ELDERS."
Seeing the clueless expression didn't leave, the Hyuuga princess bowed to Megumi. "Rather unfortunately...we're not...directly under the rule of a Hokage as of the moment." Of course, Nyame would not have known that the Fire Master was dead, failed in his invasion of Taki...nor of the fact that Sosetsu had fled the village shortly after receiving a warning from the Fire Master's Taki spy. But Konoha village was still missing their Hokage...meaning as of the moment, the most powerful person was the ANBU captain...the head council of elder member, Anzu.
"Eh...absolved...?" He mumbled, scratching his head. Anzu's long, high ponytail swayed as he shook his head gently from side to side. "Gomen, my apologies. I had no idea... But may I ask how you have gotten into Konoha village? The usurper may have been gone but I'm sure Sosetsu kept up the sentry shifts..." His golden-hazel eyes narrowed slightly. "For the past year and half, no one was allowed to leave this village...after he came."

Megumi's answer to his question was simple: "Is that a request or an order, sir?" To the two elders, (if Anzu even still remembered,) Megumi's appearance and speech would be slightly expected, but from the viewpoint of everyone else, unless they knew, the constant question of whether Megumi was male or female would most likely be pestering them. Megumi knew it did him/herself. "I also come bearing rumors that are widespread enough to have potential merit."Megumi looked into the eyes of the ANBU captain. "And they hold considerable importance if they are true."

Conan was looking at the flower so some time. After writing down the nightshade in the scroll Conan started looking at the new one. And it confused him to a very large degree. It was very confusing Conan didn’t know where to look first. Conan was about to say that he had no idea when he turned around to see that Anzu was talking to another man…women…person, none the less Conan took this…”opportunity” to take a closer and longer look at the flower. Even though he didn’t know much about herbs Conan knew that if he had the time. Which was provided to him by this…person. He could figure it out. just more time. hopefully Anzu was to busy with the...person to notice taking his time with the very complex plant

Jin looked around the compound for a few miniutes before he saw some people in the pavilion. Jin looked at Kyo and said, "Hey boy maybe they know where our squad is, what do you think?" Kyo wagged his tail and barked hapily at Jin. "yea lets go buddy" Jin said to Kyo as they started over to the pavilion.
Jin and Kyo walked down to path to the pavilion. one they got there they looked around and noticed there was two people in the gardens just past the pavilion. Jin and Kyo walked over to introduce themselves. Jin looked at the two and said, "Hello, my name is Inuzuka, Jinsoku. you can call me Jin, and this is my partner Kyoui. you can call him Kyo, right buddy?"Kyo barkked excitedly at the new people.

Conan looked at the flower longer and then reviewed his notes he made on Anzu’s lettuce from before. There was nothing from there that would make Conan think that this plant was poisonous. So Conan said out loud. “ I don’t think this one is poisonous Anzu –sensei” then Conan turned around and smiled. Conan noticed that there was another person hear as well. And he had a puppy. Without thinking Conan blurted out “puppy.” Then after that Conan said “ sorry there its just he’s… cute” Conan hadn’t really herd the boy say his name. He was a little focused on trying to figure out if the plant was poisonous or not. “ my names Conan, Ion” just then Conan realised that that wasn’t really his real name anymore. He’s a Senju no I’m not I’ve lived my life as Conan Ion not Conan Senju

Nyame might have accused Anzu of poor memory. But...though he was REALLY good at memorizing data and such...in fact, he could memorize all new people's names the first time around...the poor guy, unless someone REALLY made an impression on him, have a great deal of trouble keeping in memory names and faces over long periods of time. And "long period" as in...beginning from half year on.
A small smile. "You may take it as an order. I'll mark you 'returned' on your profile." Mentally, the ANBU captain made a note to himself to do some research...on the people supposed to return today. Then, he could narrow it down by pictures and data. Anzu gave a slight nod, as indication for Megumi to begin. "Well? What sort of rumors?"
Because Anzu was busy conversing with the Jounin, whom Nyame happened to recognize for a very - particular - reason... Yet, for the moment she settled for acknowledging the other newcomer that have shown up in the Senju pavilion. From the looks of it, along with the puppy, the boy was a Inuzuka...and by his chakra levels, at least a Genin.
"Greetings, Inuzuka Jinsoku-kun. I presume that you too are seeking audience with Anzu?" The Hyuuga woman fixed pale eyes on the boy, before walking closer. The afternoon light streaming into the open pavilion made the lovely woven patterns of her outer kimono shimmer softly with different colours. A traditional two piece Heian style dress...very formal. Most clans, even Senju, had settled for the more modern yukatas.
"Is there any particular request?"

My trip was somewhat of a personal matter, and I find myself disinclined to speak of private affairs in such humbling company as this." Megumi's trip had been for medical purposes, but Megumi didn't want to be bringing any thoughts towards his/her condition until everything had been sorted out. What had been discovered was poor news, indeed, and gave Megumi only about three years to decide. After that, Megumi would be worthless as a wife... Megumi already had no worth as a husband... Megumi looked at Nyame with a look that it seemed women had manufactured solely to sneak requests for help past men. It was a pleading gaze that masqueraded as a glance of little import. "I have heard rumors of the usurper. And of Sosetsu." Megumi had faced back to Anzu with a masculine look of seriousness etched on his/her face.

Something was wrong... But Anzu couldn't quite nail it. It was very slight but he could've sworn to kami-sama there was the slightest change in chakra levels...not in the threatening manner but as if it had shifted a full 180... So familiar, the feeling...almost like...almost like... A vivid memory came up in his mind, when Irihi attempted to kill Lehran back in the meadows, only two days earlier.
Ah. That was it. Dual personalities. And it wasn't chakra levels but rather the imprint. Kokuyoku's chakra imprint was the polar opposite of Irihi's... He could feel it well, being closest to Sannin-level here...but he wasn't sure if Nyame might've caught it. No... He thought. She probably realizes. Irihi-kun, after all, has the same condition...
"Yes. At the Hokage Tower later would be fine." A pause. "The usurper isn't in the village. The final day he was around, busy bragging of annexing Takigakure no Sato to Fire Country's control." His voice grew stony. "We're running into...a little trouble with the feudal lords now." Understandably, as the damiyos were beginning to question if it was even worth financially supporting a shinobi village that couldn't even repel one attacker. While the Fire Master was still in Konoha, the threats were quiet...the damiyos knew the Fire Master would could so easily kill them.
But with only his assistant around...the, even if now unformalized threats to cut off financial support, was gradually escalating. They would need their Hokage and his army to return and soon.

Megumi smiled at Anzu. "Thank you very much for your understanding. I've heard a lot of fun stories while I've been gone, you know? you and I will have to sit down sometime and talk like we used to. They're really quite fascinating. I heard once that the Usurper was very good at chess, but I've heard of a game that he once lost. It was quite a large bet, and I would love to tell you of the story some time. It is really fascinating." Megumi scratched his/her chin and pulled a thumb nonchalantly across his/her throat. The genin most likely wouldn't notice it, but the elders here should. It was important to have someone sent to investigate immediately and here was the perfect shinobi to issue the order. "And I've heard Sosetsu was an interesting character, you'll have to tell me more of him later." Megumi slipped the hand back down under his/her jacket and pulled a finger across his/her headband. The fire master is dead, and Sosetsu is a traitor that has run away. Megumi hoped that the ANBU captain and the Hyuuga princess could understand the gravity of the situation...

Jin smiled at Conan and said "Hi, Im Jinsoku Inuzuka. you can call me Jin, and this is my pal Kyoui. but you can call him Kyo."Kyo sniffed around everywhere and finnaly barked happily at Jin giving him his seal of aproval. Jin smiled at Kyo and said, "Good job boy." Jin tossed Kyo a treat and Kyo jumped up in the air and ate it. Jin looked at Kyo then back to Conan as he said, "Me and Kyo are going to be the best tracking team in the village some day." Jin then threw a curveball at Conan by saying, "So Conan, why did you decide to become a ninja."

Anzu paled slightly, having understood the message perfectly. In return, he answered the Jounin, also in code: "Was it the ice princess who lives where the water falls that hast quelled ancient fire?" Did the Takikage kill him? A slight pause as Anzu tapped his gauntlet. A code symbol of war, warning, or death. "Of the rat that steals into the nest at night...is it because he sights the returning hawk?" And Sosetsu, did he escape because there's news of the Hokage's return? Anzu waited, partly hopeful for the answer. Megumi, after all, had returned to the village "from the outside".
