tropicana breeze runner *Having spent the last twenty-four hours in his room practising the technique on various objects and adjusting the width, Dust was now ready to complete his task. He made his way to where he had left the pots, which were now fully dried, and ready. Bringing them outside he tossed one of them into the air, and performed a single handseal, and focused in his mind an enormous amount of chakra in which, he let out only a few words.* Chakra Enjintou!!! *With this an enormous chakra scalpel formed in his hand, and Dust flew into the air with all his might and brought the blade through the pot and immediately expelled the blade catching both sides of the pot in his hands as he returned to ground. Breathing heavily he placed them on the ground and began to laugh. Though primarily a technique used in surgery, it can cut through bone, and other substances which make up the bone, and as Dust believed humans are definitely creatures of the earth. He collected both ends of the pots and brought them to the front of the entrance, when he sensed a familar presence.* "Sorry about the wait.." He said softly, walking into the main room, and back towards the bookshelf. He pulled a book, and the shelf rose. He entered and looked around a bit, nodding softly.

*Nodding to the sensei he looked at him, he appeared to be quite alright, which he knew he would be. Sephiroth was one of the greatest fighters of the Academy and was his sensei, he had to be alright.*
May we start the trial sensei? That is if you are able too, I believe my training is suitable enough to allow me to complete the first trial.
*He bowed lowly, and smiled showing his appreciation and devotion to his training.*

"Be my guest." He took a step back, allowing him passage to the stretch of red-hot coals.

*Making his way over to the coals, he allowed the heat of the room to overcome him slightly, and than he reassured his authority, by walking defiantly within a foot of the actual stretch.*
I have trained too long to fail on the first trial, lets see what you are made of Dust, do this for the family.
I will show you what training in other areas can do for you besides chakra control. My feet are solid now, hard from working on the pond, the one I never used. Watch me.
*He stepped forward and bit hard on his lips as his first foot touched the hot coals. Burning his foot, he pressed his weight onto thefirst foot, as his second foot carried forward in the air over onto the coals.*
Hmm....not so bad.
*He grunted from beneath his teeth, as he made the next few steps across the heated coal pathway.*
Not much further, only just a few more steps.
*As he counted out his fiftieth step along the coal bed, and now his feet, completely covered in black soot, and solid like a rock, and almost appearing like the coals themselves.*
I can do this for father, and grandfather, I am a truthseeker, and I seek the truth. Lend me your strength.
*He said this as he was now only three feet from the end of the stretch heated coals.*

In order to use fire, you must respect it. And in this case, it is through pain. In every element, there is a trial like this you must undergo. For Rai, you stick a paperclip in an outlet, and hold on. For Mizu, you drown yourself. The element will not allow itself to be used unless it realizes that you have been through a lot to learn to use it. Ho is especially stubborn.."

*Stopping he bit down hard on his lips drawing blood. As the single drop made his way down his chin, and along his neck, all Dust could do was hold off the pain. He knew he could not complete this trial without letting go, and letting the coals overcome him. He took a chance, and released himself, dropping to the ground onto the coal bed, his clothes catching fire, and the fire begun to overcome him. The warmth felt familar, as if he had experienced this all before. He began to focus entirely on the coals, and that each coal by itself was not as hot as a collected group. Each coal relied on the other to keep them burning, much like a family unit. He began to think of the people in the Acadmy and how the supported eachother, by defending eachother and helping eachother in so many ways. This is what he wanted, and he to would become a coal, burning and supporting the others, giving comfort. The fire now completely extinguished itself from his clothes. He was now naked, and stood up, appearing ever the more defiant. While all the while understanding and compassionate. He smiled and looked at the sensei.*
I understand now sensei, pain is brought on by being alone, like these coals they would die out by themselves, like I would if I were to remain by myself. Each coal supports eachother, and the heat they give off is not as great if alone. Thank you sensei for teaching me this valuable lesson.
*The coals did not bother him anymore and he began to make his way off the coal bed, heading towards the end.*

*He bagan to make his way off the coal bed and his only thought was to go and speak with Kai and Boo, however, he knew he still had various trials to complete and decided that he should finish them off.*
Let us complete the next trial.
*As he stepped off the coal bed, his feet burining though he did not notice the heat personally, and the hardwood floor began to heat up. Steam rose from the ground as it cooled.*
Let us begin Sephiroth. We have many things to do before the tournament.

*With closed eyes, he stood upside down on the rafters of the dojo and watched them a slight frown on his face. His hair was hung in front of his face whiched caused him to have to move it every so often. Slowly he paced the rafters, watching Trop with cold eyes.*

*He stood there simply waiting for his sensei's instruction, oblivious of what was going on around him, he was so excited about passing the first trial, yet he had to remain calm.*
I wonder where Tut is, I haven't seen him in such a long time. Hmmpphh... what a loser, erk... well I mean sensei, he just does not seem as atuned to his training here as someone like me, or is that because he trains elsewhere, deeper within this very dojo? I never see him around here, and well he doesn't train with me, not that I expect that he would, but perhaps some lessons given to me by him would be appreciated. After all he is the shojiki.
*He folded his arms, and tapped his right foot to try and release some of the nervous energy built up inside of him.*

*Tutsumi slowly sat down on the rafter, still upside down, and folded his arms. He slowly closed his eyes and he slowly meditated one something as he yawned softly.*

*Noticing Tutsumi as he yawned quite loudly, he looked up in fear, for he wondered if he had heard what he just said.*
Shojiki, ermm... hello, how are you today, if you have been watching you may have noticed I've passed the first trial.
*He began to think off a way out incase things got ugly. The front door was not an option, Tut would merely ignite it on fire. How on earth would he get out?*

I saw...but that doesn't really mean much to me...just proves you know the basics...either that...or you had a little help.
*He yawned against as he scratched his chin and dropped his hands down, swaying them slowly in the air. His eyes opened to slits as he peered down to Trop, a knowledgeable look to his eyes.*

*He was now really worried, Tutsumi had shown no appreciation for all of his hard work, how he hated him so. He had mocked him ever since he had joined the Ho Dojo, and would not even bother to train with him. Tutsumi was one of the worst people he had ever met, and it truly was much more of a bother to listen to him, than anything else. And now he accused him of receiving help. All he ever did was collect two scrolls from Kaimen, and heck he didn't even use them.*
What do you mean a little help, the only help I got was from Boo, you don't even train with me, or do anything to help me, all you do is make fun of me. If the places were reversed Tutsumi, I don't think you would like it. And don't you even dare give me that cold, I'm to good for you attitude!!
*Pointing at him.*
You are a failure as a shojiki, in which you are incapable of any passion let alone, any true knowledge in what is required to teach someon like me. I beat you could not teach me anything, all you can do is beat up on students like me. Just cause I am slower than the others does not mean I'm weaker in any way. Nor am I anymore useless than the next Academy student. I train harder, longer, and and more frequently than any other student in this dojo and you know it.

*Tutsumi chuckled slightly as a smirk came upon his face. Slowly he released the chakra that was in his thighs and dropped towards the ground, a slight dead personailty overcoming his movements and actions. As he fell, he slowly turned in the air and landed on his feet, his knees crouched so much that his hip was 7 inches from the ground, his hiar swaying slightly. Tutsumi cracked his knuckles slowly as he slowly rose above Trop and sneered.*
You honestly think you could be a better shojiki? And you don't know me kid...learn your people...your targets...before accusing them and making assumptions... As for teaching you...I havn't seen a reason to teach you yet...besides..I don't really like you.

*Knowing full well he had formed a great enemy in having Tutsumi angry he would be much better off simply allowing the beating to occur than to try and stop it, except he knew he would be punished more if he tried to escape, or to just allow Tutsumi to beat on him. There was little he could do to attack Tutsumi with let alone, defend himself. He knew he could not save himself, but he knew of something he could do to atleast ease the pain.*
Good atleast the feeling is mutual. And I don't make assumptions, because I would simply make an a** out of myself. I think the reason you don't train me is because you are scared that someday the person I will become will far exceed you. That is right. If you weren't scared of training me, than you would do so. There are no other teachers here, except for the sensei Sephiroth, and since you are the only other teacher and he is higher than you, I think you should be the one teaching me. Or maybe you're just lazy. How dare you accuse me of being ignorant.
*Spits on the floor and stares coldly at Tutsumi.*
If you weren't afraid of what I will become than you would train me. I leave you with that thought.
