Tortie nodded in approval and smiled inside herself at the newly made friend.
Tenrai's nerves settled with the other's reaction to her greeting. She placed her paw on the soft ground as she listened, with great interest, to what Emerald had to say. As she began to feel comfortable, she sat also. Tenrai giggled as Emerald wriggled her paws and she looked down at her own. They were all of the same smoky-gray as her body; something inside felt insecure but she shook it off. Taking a breath, it seemed she was ready to speak for the first time.
"My mommy named me.." she paused for a moment and said the word a couple of times in her head so it would come out right, "Tenrai." Feeling proud, she puffed out her chest with this boost of confidence. "She says it means 'beautiful poetry' or 'the sound of wind'," it confused her but she still loved to hear it. Her voice was high and shaky, but overall, had a calming effect. When she finished speaking she cocked her head in interest. Her tail was waving back and fourth at medium speed and she had an urge to play.

Aravis suddenly heard steps behind her. She whirled around to see her mate walk down the river. At first, she could just goggle. She thought she was dreaming. Felix! Whom she had missed and missed and missed. Her heart was pounding like a hammer in her chest, and a big smile could be seen on her face, as though someone had just pasted it there, and she ran forward, crying: "Feeeeeeliiix!" She pounced him over excitedly and kissed him on the cheek, totally forgetting all her worries and troubles about her - no, THEIR - son.

Felix looked up and saw Aravis. A goofy smile perked up on his face, which turned even goofier(if that's possible) when she pounced him. "Oh Aravis." He nuzzled her. "I missed you." He closed his eyes and layed there with her, warm and happy.
Soleil looked at the couple with a strange expression. She smiled knowing it was her mother, but still stood back from the two. She sat down and tilted her head. When Felix started out of his lovey-dovey daydream he thought to announce her and looked in her direction. She stepped foward and said softly. "Hello mother."

Emerald cocked her head, taking what Tenrai had said. It had confused her a bit, since it was a word that wasn't in her vocabulary, which wasn't very complex as it was. "Beautiful poetry? Sound of wind? Well, that's all pretty cool, I guess." She said, her tail wagging. She knelt down a bit into a pouncing stance, and then jolted around Tenrai, tagging her on her shoulderblade with a paw, "You're it!"

Infinite Duck Felix looked up and saw Aravis. "Hello mother." "I've missed you too! Sooo much!" Aravis cried, as she kissed Felix's ear. "Love you so much... mm?" She blinked a couple of times as she looked at Soleil. "Hello, sweetie", she said with her smile. "What's your name, sweetie ((She'll call Caspian honey, Soleil sweetie, Felix darling and Malaika sweetheart xDD)) ? Daddy named you, didn't he? And aunt Duckie, too, I suppose?" She smiled some more. Then she sighed. "Oh dear, I totally forgot Caspian. Caspian is our son, darling", she explained to Felix. "You see, he's being so shy... like you", she added, kissing Felix's cheek again with a warm smile on her lips. "... But he's always escaping from me because he wants to explore on his own. He's a true explorer, but he doesn't like people accompany him when he's exploring things. Perhaps you should go find him, my sweetie!" she said, beaming, as she looked at her and Felix's daughter with pride. "You could try to get along with him... he isn't really hard to get along with, he's just being shy." "Hello,...", Andromeda said, as she walked forward to Soleil. "I'm Andromeda, but you can call me Aunt Andro if you want. I'm your mother's Guide... a reindeer, as you may see." She smiled a wide smile.

Soleil looked up at her mother and listened to her. "My name is Soleil mother." She said politely watching her mother and father. She looked behind them off into the tree line, shadowed. Tilting her head, she wandered why she had to find such a troublesome little pup. Sighing she nodded. "I will find my brother." She said softly.
Before she left she was aproached by Andromeda. "Hell..o..." She said slowly looking at the strange creature. She never took her eyes off the reindeer, but leaned towards her father. "Father, you see her too right?"
Felix looked over curiously and began to laugh. "Yes I see Andromeda! She's very much real." Felix chuckled and turned to Aravis to explain. "She was watching tv with Duckie and learned that sometimes people see things that aren't there. Now she things anything strange isn't real and asks me to confirm." He burst out laughing again.
Soleil didn't find it very funny, but whatever. She gracefully trotted into the shadows to find her brother.

"Soleil... what a beautiful name. Suits you, doesn't it, my - no, I mean, OUR -" She beamed at Felix - "- little sweetie. And yes, that's right, Andromeda is very much real", she laughed. "When I was young, I hoped she'd disappear, but not nowadays. Oh! When we were young... Felix, you remember our flying trips?" she grinned. "I always come to think of us as children whenever I come across one. And I especially think of you when I see Caspian..." She smiled a soft smile.
Caspian looked at Malaika who seemed to be thinking of something else and not really hearing his greeting. Instead, he heard movements in the shadows and turned around sharply to see what it was. Suddenly, he saw Soleil. He blinked a couple of times to confirm himself of what he had seen. Then he greeted her, somewhat surprised, but still with his very shy voice: "Hello."

Tenrai jumped back, surprised, and quickly realized what they were playing. 'Tag' was a new game to her but Tortie had already told her about it. Almost sure she had grasped the concept and after gathering herself, she took off after Emerald. Her tail was wagging full force and her toungue was lolling out of her mouth. Each ear waved in a different direction as she pounced towards Emerald. Subconciously her wings zipped, making motions of there own. She was breathing quite hard as she tried to catch up to her friend. She eventually came to the conclusion that she was too slow and started to come to a stop. Still having fun with the game, she took a deep breath before bolting again.

Malaika glanced over, shaking her head vigorously almost as if coming out of a trance. 'Was that...' She narrowed her eyes, intent on staring at Caspian.
"I-I'm sorry, I was kinda...dozed off for a second." The pink Tala apologized quickly, a sheepish grin flickering across her face. It'd be stupid if she openly asked if he was her brother, so she figured she might as well start off with a little small talk.
"...Who are you, anyways?" Kind of a stupid question, but she didn't care. Indeed like a pup, she was curious.

[.Pushing the Sky.] Malaika glanced over, shaking her head vigorously almost as if coming out of a trance.
Caspian whirled around, blinking, as he faced Malaika. "It's OK." He continued to blink as he watched her, more shyly than curious, but curiosity glimmered beneath the surface of shyness, too. "I am Caspian Shasta, but call me Caspian, please. Shasta is my middle name..." Caspian felt that he needn't to be as shy with her as with other strangers. He had a feeling deep inside that she was his sister whom had disappeared when he and his other sister were baskets. But being not as curious and outgoing as his mother, he didn't feel for asking whether she was his sister or not. Feeling a bit helpless, he shook his head as though he wanted to shake off his doubts. "And who are you?" he asked quietly, as though the silence of the river would disappear if he did not talk in a low voice.

"My name's Malaika...it's nice to meet you...But..." The Tala took a step towards Caspian, continuing to keep her gaze fixed on him. He looked so familiar...like she had seen the design on his pelt once before.
They had to be related. That was the only explanation she could summon, the only thing that made sense. The stars...his odd resemblance to...Felix...
She repressed a slight cry of anguish upon coming to that realization, but nevertheless stood up and padded around in a quick circle around Caspian.
"...I...feel like I know you already...You wouldn't happen to be aquainted with two Tala named Felix and Aravis...would you?"

"What's aquainted?" Caspian asked, blinking stupidly. "But... yes... I know them. Aravis is my mother, and Felix is my father. Mum says I look a lot like dad,... probably because of my stars. I've seen a photo of dad. You look a bit like my mum. But how come you wonder?" He watched as his sister walked around him in circles.

"It means..." Malaika paused mid-step, coming face to face with Caspian. "when you're familiar someone, brother...I've...been gone since way back when at the Gaian ball...but I'm back now. I'm your sister, Caspian!"
If it were a normal reunion, the Tala should have felt incredibly relieved. But for this situation, that was hardly the case. No, Maliaka was more afraid than anything. Afraid of meeting with the rest of her family, afraid to see their reactions.
...No turning back now.

Caspian blinked again. He couldn't help to blink. So, he was right, after all! This grown-up Tala must be his sister. "Oh... I was suspecting you were my sister, Malaika! You look like mum... she's being with dad right now." He nodded in the shadows' direction. "But... but..." He wrinkled his forehead thoughtfully. "How come you're already an adult?"
Aravis heard voices. Voices from beyond the shadows. She slowly arose, blinking a couple of times to reassure herself of the voices. Caspian! And someone else... but who? "Felix", she said in a rather distant voice. "Felix! I recognize this voice... whose is it?... Wait a second, I'll be back soon!" She smiled a quick smile, kissed his cheek, and flied with high speed into the shadows - and out of them, into the sunlight, beside Caspian and Malaika. At first, she could just... look. "... My lost basket", she mumbled... "My lost basket... exactly... the colours..." Suddenly, it was like reality had struck her. "My lost basket!" she cried out. "My and Felix's lost basket! It's here...!" Her eyes filled with happy tears, but at the same time astonishment... and a wave of startled feelings also struck the beach of her heart, too. "... Where have you been, sweetheart? And why are you an adult? Tell me! I've been so worried about you... I don't even know your name!"
Caspian just blinked, as he looked at his mother and then at his sister. They were quite alike, though his mother was more red than pink while his sister was the opposite...

"I...I..." Malaika looked away, clearly ashamed. Not meeting her family at all would've been better than this. They all looked so...happy... Surely she couldn't just barge in such a manner and throw the family completely out of wack.
"I should just...go...I'm sorry for bugging any of you..." Back into darkness. Back into obscurity. That's the only place she had known, afterall, until now.
"Sorry," She paused, struggling to make out the next word in her shaky sentence, "...mom...I just can't do this...I can't pretend everything's okay. Dad...I don't even KNOW what's with him anymore."
Mal turned around, as if preparing to leave. It was a mistake for being here, it was simply the only conclusion she could form. The only place she had in the world seemed to be with just one Tala in particular...
