"well...I don't know about you but I'm gonna watch those too beat eachothers brains out((Don't expect dimitri too do anything to stop the fight btw))" he said rather plainly like he did it every day. He found them in a clearing some distance away, he climbed up into a tree and sat on a thick branch. this should be a interesting one he thought.

Styx sat back on his chair in the underworld, just looling at the long line of patients he had to deal with. With a loud groan, he got his quill, and began signing off the damned to either their blessed release, or their eternal damnation. Whichever one the gods judge. "Why is it that you mortals are so eager to die?! I mean, can't any of you live past to see 100?!" He asked them as he continued his paperwork. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alex walked to a nearby bar in town, the sun weighing down over his head heavily with each passing minute. "Must.....get......drink.." He said to himself as he literally dragged himself to a seat and slumped over the side of the table. "Ey, you seem parched? What can I git ya" The barkeep asked him. "Just a huge jug of water...." Alex replied. When the ice cold jug was placed before him, he began chugging the water like it was his first taste of water.

Amaria's head dropped dejectedly and a sigh escaped her lips . Really. These people couldn't get along for more than a couple of minutes. When Dimitri introduced himself, she waved half-heartedly. "Hey." She muttered.
When he dashed off to watch, she followed slowly, the weight of her blade finally deciding to force her to make an effort.
Plopping herself down in the grass at the far end of the clearing nearest the village, she watched quietly. These people fought all the time. And . . . even when she did like starting a fight for some . . . not so very good reasons, it was different from starting one in which she would very nearly kill somebody. She hoped she had a little more self-control than that, and she hoped Sonney and Angel had at least half as much self-control as that.
Looking at the setting sun, she grumbled. The house that she had purchased in the town would be going to waste at the moment. She hadn't been there for quite over a year, and she was to meet somebody in town. The man had said he'd give her a week's leway, however. So it wouldn't be a problem if she showed up later.
Hopefully this will be a short fight, she thought.

The two were still for a minute, until Sonney lunged at Christian with the speed of a raging bull. Christian dodged and jumped up onto one of the trees lower branches and swiped at Sonney with one of his daggers. It hit, and Sonney's cheek bled. But not for long. He was a God, and you can't hurt a God that easily. The way Christian had learned, from Sonney, was to poison the blade so that after the wound healed, the poison would still be underneath the skin. It wouldn't kill Sonney, but it would hurt like hell later. "Hehe, got chu," Christian said to Sonney, who was on the ground below Christian and his perch in the tree. "Hey! If I may make a suggestion, take out your damned short sword. At least that has a decent range." Sonney said, smiling. He knew Christian wasn't going to, because of what Sonney could do to Christian's sword. "Uhh, no. Last time I fout you with it, you melted the damned blade off. Took me forever to repair. And there is still soot on the guard!" Christian sneered back at him, lunging forward out of the tree, and right behind Sonney. He took a jab at him with his shuriken, and Sonney didn't bother to dodge. Sure, the blade had poison on it, but it wouldn't hurt Sonney in the fight. Unless Christian left the blade there. Of course, he did. That way, the wound wouldn't heal. It would fester and burn because of the poison, making Sonney really uncomfortable for the duration of the fight. Christian grabbed at another shuriken from the pouch he hadn't fully closed and caught Sonney's arm right as he was turning to shove his ball of destruction in Christian's face. He cringed back as the blade hit him and missed Christian's face, hitting a tree instead. There was an explosion and the surrounding tree fell too. "Uhh, why is this so one sided? Come one, you know my weak points, come and get me!" Christian yelled at the coughing Sonney. He had landed on his back, driving the shuriken farther in. "That was when you weren't serious! My god, you are fast. Like a freaking thief!" "Uhh, well for a while there, I was a thief. Interesting lifestyle. Oh, but then Master picked me up and taught me real techniques. You wanna see one? I'll be glad to show you." Christian blinked his one open eye((coz, remember, if you read my character Bio at all, his mark is in his eye, making him blind.)) And carefully opened his right eye along with the other one. The mark in his eye, the one thing that Sonney didn't know about, was a flower. It was beautiful, really. It was a Tiger Lilly, except that it ripped outward in a spiral that went only slightly onto his skin. You wouldn't notice it unless his eye was open. Anyways, Christian took a stance that was new to Sonney. His legs were closer together than usual and his arms seemed unusually relaxed. His head was down, both eyes now closed. It was almost like he was simply standing there, not ready for a fight. Sonney took it as weakness and jumped at him, only to find that Christian's shuriken blocked the blow. There was only a small explosion from the ball of light and Sonney jumped back, surprised. Christian's arm lowered back to his side, and Sonney walked around him, trying to figure out what the hell had told Christian where he was. Christian made no effort to stop him, and he just stood there. The technique he was using relied completely on sound. Any and all noises around him were magnified, and Christian had practiced this technique many times with his teacher. It was completely defensive, but Christian had come up with a way to make it offensive too. Sonney lunged at Christian again and one of Christian's daggers flew from his hand, and into Sonney's leg. He crumpled to the floor, grinding his teeth in a would be scream.

Alex finished his drink, and he was well on his way towards the forest, when all of a sudden, he felt a familiar chill crawl up his spine. "Great...." He said to himself as Styx appeared in front of ihm in a levitating posture. "Styx, I don't want to talk to you. We have our aggrement, now let it be that."
Styx let his feet on the ground and stood in front of Alex, blocking his way. "Now, wait just a minute here. I don't take back my deals. It's one of my three rules, remember?" He notioned to him. "I just wanted to check up on my favourite customer. Besides, people don't die around you, so I get less work." He added, pinching Alex's cheek in a cute motion. "I'm so gwateful to you, you know?' He teased with pouting lips.
Alex just swatted away Styx's hand, and continued walking. "Then why the hell did you come back to me then?!" He shouted to him as he walked through the forest.
Styx just walked up behind him, using his scythe as a walking stick as he spoke into his earr. "Because you are a strange case. You made a bad wish, yet you accepted it without recognition. You are one of the only people who wished for something bad to them, and have accepted it."
Alex just stopped, and stared at Styx. 'I made this wish to apologize for what my kin did to that fighter 2 years ago. He didn't deserve what those people gave him, so it's only fair for me to carry his burden for him. I'll find a way for all this to stop." He said to himself. Styx, just standing in a grove near where 2 people were fighting (Sonney and Christian), and thought for a second. "Fighter, fighter...... Oh yes, I know who you're talking about! That headless fighter without any skin. I gave him a fitting place in hell." He teased Alex.
Unfortunately, Alex wasn't in the mood for jokes. Drawing his katana, he charged Styx in a blind rage. "I'll make you eat those words!" He shouted as he placed the blade near his face as he charged at Styx, which ended in the god of the underworld's teleportation behind him, and having Alex charge out into the area of the forest where the 2 were fighting, his sword in attack position.

Amaria glanced over at the falling tree as Sonney and Angel continued their fight. She was getting tired. Standing up, she shifted the blade on her sword. Non-chalantly, she waved a hand as she began to walk away.
"I have a house in the town down the road. If you guys need a place to stay, just come by. It's at the southern edge of town. There's food and plenty of rooms."
Sighing, she glanced up at the sky before making her way away from the clearing. It was getting chilly, and the sun was finally hidden behind the distant rims of the mountains.
Just as she was exiting the clearing, she heard a shout of anger. Following the sound, she realized that yet another fighter and god were fighting. She paused, uncertain as to whether or not she should stay or walk away. Tired, she leaned against a tree in the shadows to watch.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she was distracted when there was a ping from her contact device. Pushing a button on a small cube hanging at her side, she spoke quietly.
"Quorum?"
"Amaria? I've got bad news. You know the guy you were supposed to meet up with at the tavern? He's been eliminated. We don't know where all the information he was carrying has gone. We're trying to track the assassin down, but he's disapeared without a sign."
Amaria was silent for a while, her eyes staring off into space and thinking, ignoring the conflicts between gods and fighters around her.
"It's fine, Quorum," she finally said. "I think, that I may have found another way to enter the realm of the gods. One that will go off with less of a bang . . . "
"What are you planning?"
With a slow smile, she watched as the new fighter and the new god fought. She recognized the god, it wasn't hard. Styx. Condemner of human lives.
"You'll see, Quorum, you'll see."
Slowly, she broke the contact connection, and leaning against the tree, watched the fight progress with her eyes, and let the plan progress in her mind.

Alex just simply lowered his katana, and placed the end on the ground, looking to his mak on his arm, wondering if taking this burder was a bad idea. Still, he sheathed his blade, and fell with his back against the tree, letting his head rest on his knees.
Styx, standig over him, just stared at the boy's misery. "Always be careful of what you wish for.. Especially if i'm the one who grants it." He said as he walked off, eyeing a girl who seemed to be interested in him. Smiling, he began walking towards the woman, placing one of the skulls attached to his wing in his left hand.

((Durban! a few posts ago you called Christian Christina! gonk He's not a girl!! He doesn't have a girly name! gonk gonk gonk ))
Christian and Sonney blinked at the new arrival of a God and maybe another fighter. My god, what was with all the fighters and Gods in one day? Three Gods and what, three, four fighters? That was nuts. Christian put away his weapons, and Sonney did the same. The looked toward Styx and tryed not to freak out about having the freaking god of the Underworld on the ground, instead of under it.

Alex looked to the 2, and just sighed as he tried to warn them. "Don't get any ideas with him. He may seem like an easy route, but he finds a way to stab you in the back when you're not looking." Styx, on the other hand, groaned with displeasure as he noticed Sonney, one of the gods on the OTHER side of the earth... the GOOD side. "Oh great. It's you again. I'm guessing you're here just to rub in how your position's SO much better then mine." He said as he crossed his legs in mid-air.

"Huh?" Sonney said, confused, "what position? I'm freaking banished to earth. I have no position right now. I might as well be a regular human to you." He sighed and looked toward Christian, who seemed to be bored. He mist of liked fighting with is partner, or maybe just the winning part. "You've talked to the god of the underworld before?" Christian asked interrupting Sonney, who had been planning on saying more. "Yes, I have, now shut up." Sonney glared at Christian, who was trying to pull his shuriken out of Sonney's back, "Ow! Dammit, don't do that right now!" "But... I want my shuriken back!" Christian wined, and that led to Sonney turning around while Christian's hand was still clamped onto his shuriken. The shuriken ripped out of Sonney back, and Sonney screamed loudly, highly, and shrill. Like a little girl. Christian snickered. Sonney kept his glare. "Dammit. That ******** hurt." Sonney said to Christian "Your own fault." Christian burst into a large fit of giggles, and Sonney kicked him in the shin, which reminded Christian of his dagger, which was still in Sonney's leg. He reached up for it, and Sonney slapped his hand out of the way, and proceeded to pull the dagger out of his own leg. "Ah, ow ow ow ow ow..." he said as he pulled it out, one centimeter at a time. "Here," Cristian reached up and before Sonney could slap his hand again, He pulled the dagger entirely out of his leg. "Dammit! Don't be so brutal!" "But, got it out, didn't I? And look, it healed too." Christian nodded toward Sonney's leg, where a bloody splotch was, but no actual wound. Sonney glared again, and turned back to Styx. "Why are you here, then?" Sonney asked

Styx just watched Sonney in pain, and all he could do was laugh at his unfortunate dillema. "Well now, isn't this quite a fortunate turn of events! It turns out that the one who does all the work is the most privelledged of all the gods!" He shouted back at him. After he held back his laughter, he looked back at him, and sighed while holding his chest. "Well, I came up because of that young lad over there. You see, he made quite a peculiar deal with me. You see, he's a human, but he wnted the strength of a fighter. Now, every race hates him now. And yet, he doesn't greave over his choice. So i've been watching him, wondering just what he's planning." He said to sonney as he tapped his scythe on the ground.

"So, the God of the Underworld was bored, so he decides to follow around some human, who wants to be a fighter?" Sonney said, not particularly to anyone, "Interesting." "Well, you came down to earth of your own free will. Then you hung out with me, and got banished for it. Is his being bored really all that different to your being bored," Christian said as he pulled a lollipop from somewhere in his pouch. "Yes! It is different. Very different!" Sonney said back, irritated at Christian for bringing up his banishment again. "I don't see how," Christian said as he unwrapped the lollipop and put it in his mouth. "That's because you are... are..." Sonney said, searching for the right word. " 'I are' what?" Christian said, still trying to hold back his snickers. "An idiot! You are an IDIOT!" Sonney yelled, exasperated with Christian and his excessive need to be snotty. Christian burst into laughter again, "Sorry, so sorry. One sec." He said as he turned and leaned on a nearby tree, trying to get his giggles under control.

Amaria glanced over at the new comer and smiled. "I'll be careful. Promise. And don't worry, I have my ways too." With a sigh, she noticed that the others were noticing Styx. She wasn't going to talk with him now, no . . . . she was going to wait, and plan things out. She had time, and plenty of it.
Turning to the newcomer, she walked and stood over him while he leaned against the tree. Holding out a hand (something she seemed to be doing a lot of lately) she introduced herself.
"I'm Mari. I own one of the estates at the town down the road."
Her ears, even though her attention was on the newcomer, picked up the conversation between Angel, Sonney, and Styx. So . . . this man, he was just a human originally. Not a fighter naturally. Hardly seeing the difference, she figured it wasn't a big deal.
