xD I wonder how many Matt's are gonna be there. Since I'm one of them too. *headdesk* And I am having the HARDEST time finding a striped shirt.
And I'll be attempting to make the vest. With no sewing experience. o_x

Thank you! I'm waiting for the rest of the pictures to come in because one of the photogs took us aside for a photoshoot at the actual park and then some random cute girl asked both of us for a picture and I want that one, too. x]
I'll be getting a new black/white striped top for when I do manga!Matt again. Chessy and I also have other crack ideas for these two, so hopefully we pull them off. I haven't decided if I'll do anime!Matt, though. He didn't get enough screen time. Matt's become my signature character, ha ha.

Oh man. The SakuraCon staff meeting/The Dark Knight/Cosplay
Parade/Cosplayer invasion of Denny's today was so awesome, and I'm
uber sad that Rose couldn't be there. ]:
Matt plushie was with me the whole time though, and I pinned a note that
says "Substitute Rose" to him.
... I also changed Rose's name on her contact info in my cell phone to
read Mail Jeevas.
Still waiting on photos from everything, but here are a couple more.

On non-Mello related news, I'm going to be working the SakuraCon booth
at Kumoricon. Tamaki from Ouran has been added to my list of costumes
for that convention, because I was considering it and then I had like five
people in two days telling me that I should cosplay him.
And at the SakuraCon staff meeting today, I found out who our second
musical guest is going to be. I don't think I should be telling people yet,
since it hasn't been officially announced to the general public, but I was
very giddy. I can tell you that it's a j-rock band that I am actually familiar
with. They're not one of my favorites, but I'm probably going to be
listening to them more from now on to get all hyped up about seeing them
live.

I was one of those lovely people agreeing that you should be Tamaki. I'm seriously considering being Haruhi because someone said I would be cute as her, ha ha.
SECOND MUSICAL GUEST?! OMG OMG. I WILL BE GOING TO THIS CONCERT, TOO. Even though I don't know who they are, yet.

Still waiting on the SRS BZNIS photographers to post their pics. I won't be
surprised if it takes them another couple days, especially since there were
two cosplay events in a row.

The first batch of pics from the parade has gone up, and the photographer
somehow managed to get a great deal of pictures of my back. XD;
This one in particular amuses me, because that's the ONLY time I wrote in
my Death Note yesterday and he somehow managed to take a photo right
at that moment.

Panda has photos of us, Chessy! :] We look kawaii liek couture. I'm anxious for the "handcuff photoshoot" (as I have dubbed it) to be posted. Those pictures should be epic.
edit; I clicked that one parade picture and I'm so sad that I missed Whammy Boi Sexytiem. Next time fer sure.

I'm waiting for SvK's photos to be posted before going on my cosplay
updating spree, since he probably took the most of us.
I'm also hoping that someone got pics of you sitting in my lap. X3
I'm kind of annoyed that I forgot/didn't get the opportunity for a bunch of
photo ideas I had. Which just means that we need to wear those costumes
again soon.
Amazingly enough, my sister started watching Death Note last night. So I
can totally dress her up as Misa in the future. I'll probably do super
stylized sketches for her and some other characters like the Mello and
Matt ones I showed you.
All the other Death Noters were sad you weren't there too. We lacked a
life-size Matt. ]':

I'm updating as I go so that I don't forget to do it all. I'm saving cosspace for last because that site has been giving me problems lately.
Oh, man. I would so love pictures of me sitting in your lap. x3 That was hawt tiems.
I have no problem with wearing Matt again! And yey for your sister watching Death Note. She would make such an adorable Misa. I think my sister is on board with the Sayu idea. That would be totally epic. And since my mom might be going to SC09 I can try and get her to cosplay as Mrs. Yagami.
