::Hinata stretched for a moment thinking:: I don't like the thought of having to split, but neither do I like having to delay any longer than is nessicary ( I still cannot spell).
::she rubbed her forhead for a second and then looked up:: Ok, Tomasu, Shunketsu, gather supplies for yourselves, I want you two to start making your way to mist as soon as you can. I'll gather who I can and then we'll catch up with you. I don't know how many I will be able to get, seeing as I am going to be trying to do this quickly and a lot of people are still out.
::she gave a nod to the elder and made her way towards the door:: No time to waste.

::Leaf Village - Elder's Office::
Shunketsu: Understood...Tomasu-kun, you can replenish some supplies back at my place...
*and with that, Shunketsu left the office and made his way back to his home...*

Aburame Kotai was sitting behind a large, oakwood desk against a wall of living insects. Papers sat neatly in stacks about the large and polished surface, much to the young man's dismay. "Too much paperwork..."
He slammed his head down on the ancient desk, bored beyond belief.

::hinata quickly waved to the elder and took of, half slamming the door shut behind her. She had little time to waste and honestly no idea really where she was going to find him. However, she knew eventually that she would locate him it would just take her little bit::
::she poked her head in and out of some of the regular places where Kotai could be hiding, so far to no avail. Bu she kept hunting, eventually finding her way to an area where she knew he HAD to be, because if he wasn't out doing something somewhere...he was stuck here::
::as she approached she had a wide grin on her face::

Kotai's head twitched lightly on the surface of the desk as an insect buzzed up near his ear. Nodding quietly, he stood and pushed back his chair. Surely he could have used the Insect Scout jutsu to simply see who it was, but he was grateful for the excuse to leave his duties even if only for a short while.
The Aburame moved swiftly, leaping from bough to bough of the upper roof with grace and ease. Within the space of a moment or two, he was standing before the Guardian Trees that formed the gate of the naturally-created manor known as Forest Hall, the home of the Aburame Clan. "Who goes there?"

sheesh, someones a little edgy...
::she made her way through the trees before the "gates", still smirking as if she knew some sort of secret::
Shouldn't you be doing some sort of work?
::she chuckled a little, hands resting on her hips, the light breeze ruffling the hair that she had just let grow out a bit. It danced nearly to her shoulders in the breeze::

Kotai visibly relaxed, pushing the goggles back up on his face. "Work... I've been doing work since I last got to see you. An ant's nest of paperwork, twisting political and personal requests. Most of it's backlog, anyway and just... just..." He tugged at a forelock of hair, exasperated.
He shook his head sadly, regaining his composure with a minimal amount of effort. "Forgive me. It's good to see you again Hinata-chan, you're looking splendid." He dismissed the gathering crowd of insects that were sent by curious attendants and family members with a backwards wave of his hand.

::she chuckled and shook her head a bit:: I wish that this was a social call Kotai, but I'm afraid that I have come on business. It seems that a band of shinobi have been raiding the villages and stealing some sort of scroll from each. The elder is sending a few of us along to other villages to try to band together so that we can stop these people.
We have a mist nin along (it was mist right?) with us, and that happens to be our first stop. I beleive that we could use your help on this...
::she smiled up at him again, trying not to giggle as he tugged at his hair::

If Kotai's composure hadn't been recently reinstated, he'd be grinning like a loon at the moment. "As sad as I am to say it, even with the possible violence that will ensue... I'm glad to have something meaningful to do. I need to gather my gear, will you come in and have a seat while I do so?" He asked with a quirked smile, plucking at his casual clothes in distaste.

::Fire Country: Leaf Village: Shunketsu's Bachelor Pad ^-^((j/k)) ::
*Shunketsu approached a closet and opened it by removing a chakra-sensitive security talisman...inside was his personal stash of kunais, shurikens, hand wraps, fuuma shurikens, scrolls, exploding talismans, wire, a kitana or two, and any war gear that he could possibly need...*
*Shunketsu took a decent amount of shurikens, scrolls, talismans, wire, and kunais...and kept a few more in a backpack...he took his usual 3 Fuuma Shurikens as well...*
Shunketsu: feel free to stock up...we have to move before Hinata and whoever she's bringing...so...let's head for your village...

::she was tempted to make a quip but decided instead just to nod and move inside, now that she had been invited. It would have been unwise to do so any earlier. Even if she was a friend, she knew that the destruction bugs didn't necissarily (I can never spell that word >_<) know that::
::she followed Kotai, already having her own gear on her, having stopped at her place on the way to get him. She was traveling light, but at least well armed. Not only did she have her weapons, but some of the salve given to her by her family members::
::she walked up quickly behind Kotai and wrapped him into a big hug, burying her face into his hair for a moment. If there was any other person that she adored in the village it would have to be Kotai. Her mentors either having passed on (awww...they left the guild when it was still a thread in the forums) or...well...komm was what he was, it left her with few people truely close to her, except the odd Kotai, who had seen so much with her::

Kotai was on the way towards his hidden footlocker where he kept his live-action equipment, leading them down twisting paths of vine and earth-scented moss. While most Aburame lived in normal, modern homes... the Forest Hall would always hold true to the old ways.
He stopped suddenly, surprised as he felt arms slip around his frame. Tensing slightly, he pivoted his head to view Hinata, wondering if there was danger nearby. Quickly enough, he realized his first embrace and lowered his head towards the ground beneath his sandals.
"I missed you, Hinata-chan." He spoke quietly, that fact alone speaking volumes of his loneliness after having so recently discovered comrades, after meeting her; the only person he'd ever allowed to get so close to him.

[[ I suggest having Laijin decide to investigate this himself, as he'd know a bit of something of these items. He might want to know where it was all going, and knowing how badly his Cloud-nin got their asses beat before, might come personally. =P ]]

You have to stop locking yourself away you know. ::her voice was soft, muffled slightly in his hair but she was smiling. After another long moment she pulled herself away, allowing him to go and get his gear. She realized the need to save time and decided that it would not bode well for them to spend too much time in forest hall::
::she waited, eyes taking in the sites of forest hall again. It was always interesting coming into a place that felt so old yet such a part of modern life::
