Eh, close guess just didn't guess speed, Harmony thought nodding her head. " My power? I can form bubbles," she stated with a smile. "Sounds stupid but it might be easier if I showed you." Harmony reached into her pocket and pulled out another piece of gum. When she fell before, she accidentally swallowed the gum she had in her mouth. Putting the gum into her mouth she chewed it and in a matter of seconds began to blow a bubble. It all looked normal for a few seconds until the small gum bubble left her mouth in a perfect circle form. It kept growing for a minute until it was an abnormal size. The pink bubble hardly even looked like a piece of gum anymore.

Harmony stared at the bubble for a second before jumping on top of it. Sitting down on top of the pink bubble, she smiled. The bubble began to rise until Harmony was eye level with Riley. " It's a weird power, I know." Harmony said jokingly. Strength and speed were normal powers but her's were defiantly not.

Having witnessed events at the dock that the morons who'd jumped in after him had participated in, Lite was kind of confused. "Hey, guys. You really shouldn't do things like that!" he warned them generously before he puffed large three-foot circumference spheres of cigarette smoke in their faces. "It's not nice to tease other students." Lite threw out his smoke into the water, and forced a breeze behind him, propelling his so-called raft towards the girl on the shore. Think carefully, Smokey, there's got to be a way to make sure she's okay. Oh, I know! Lite had formulated a plan in his head. "Hey, excuse me. Uh, let me get a towel for you." He calmly said before blowing a breeze all around to dry her off. "Hey, my name's Smokey, and they wont be bothering you anymore, though I'm sure they didn't really mean anything by it." He offered his hand, after running it through his long dread locks to avoid them moisturizing, hoping she'd stand up and shake his hand in thanks. After all, he had done his utmost to appear heroic.

"Bubbles?"

Riley's brows furrowed in curiousity. A smile made its way onto his tanned face as she showed him her power. It actually quite interesting. To see some thing out of the ordinary. He had to admit, super strength and speed weren't like amazing, unusual powers. They were an everyday superhero's powers [only in comics obviously]. But making bubbles? That was different. He looked at Harmony on top of her bubble.

"They're solid," he asked.

He was surprised a substance like bubble gum could form something completely solid when blowed.

Aya gasped a bit at the sudden breeze, startled, but seeing that her clothes were now dry, she felt a little better. She looked up and blinked her gray eyes. She quickly rubbed her eyes and grabbed his hand. She stood up and bowed her head.
"Thank you very much....uhm..." she looked up, urging him to state his name so she could thank the boy properly.

Lite was curiously puzzled at this, even he could remember having stated his name, but he took it out of courtesy to restate it. He began with a chuckle "My name's Smokey, or at least that's what all the guys back home called me. My real name's Lite but you can call me Smokey like everyone else. Hey, what were you doing out here all by yourself anyhow? We were all having a bunch of fun just goofing off, you should really join us. It's a blast!" He smiled graciously and calmly, releasing her hand. "You're all dry now! It's the least I could do after watching you fall in, don't worry though, those guys wont try it again. So like, I hear, that people here have special powers. Isn't that far out! I mean, that's why I'm here. But I didn't know other people could do stuff as well! That's so cool." He rambled on and on as if she were a friend from way back.

Harmony nodded, still sitting on her pink bubble. " I really have no idea how, it just turns solid. It works with water too but I haven't really made a water bubble this big yet. Haven't had my powers for long." Sliding off the bubble, she landed gracefully on her feet right infront of Riley. Turning her head around, she watched as the bubble slowly began to shrink away until air was left in its place. There was no sign of it ever being there, which was another thing Harmony found really strange. Turning back to look to the boy she stuck out her hand. "By the way, I'm Harmony. Don't believe I've caught your name yet." Harmony said with a sweet smile.

Logan finished his food and went and threw it away, before looking around the campus. The two from before, including the one who was on his mind simply because he had his memories stuck to his brain, weren't around, and he sighed. He probably could have just ignored them, earlier. They would've realized the girl was fine, and he wouldn't've wound up upsetting the guy. Aaron... who goes by Erin in the other gender. Interesting person, I'll have to admit. he thought, rubbing his eyes a bit.

His headache was starting to bother him. He contemplated on heading off to get some medicine for it, but decided he would wait and see if it went away on its' own, first. Instead, he headed back to his room to pull out a sketchpad and a pencil. He left his door ajar just for the hell of it, and to get a cool draft from the hall as he began drawing random things. Art.... he liked art. Things people hadn't touched a lot, like new posters and such, he could touch with his bare hands. He didn't have to worry about memories when he traced the shape of something in the art piece.

"That's pretty cool. I'll have to check it out sometime."

Despite his hate for school, Riley was a science whiz. And the mysterious bubble gave the boy an excuse to check out the lab. He had to admit he was surprised, though, when she stuck out her hand. But he smiled and took it.

"I'm Riley," he smiled.

Arkell sat on what little space was left on her bed with her diary in her lap. She had wanted to write something down but was having the damdest time trying to remember what it was. "Aaron! Aaron...Leerup!" She smiled feeling proud of herself for remembering the persons name, but unfortunately that was it. She quickly wrote his name down in her diary to ensure that she would remember.

She bounced up off her bed and took off running again, this time for the office building on the island. They must have some sort of student directory here wouldn't they? She hoped so. She skidded to a halt inside of the office building panting softly as she walked to the front desk. "Hey, do you guys have some sort of student directory? I need to find somebody..." She woman behind the desk raised an eyebrow at her and merely looked back to the computer screen in front of her "Name?" she asked in a monotone. "Aaron Leerup?" She said a little breathlessly. She nodded and typed it into the computer. "Erin Leerup, special dorms room 42." Arkell smiled at the woman, "thank you miss!"

Arkell was off and away running. She knew where the special dorms since all she had done on the boat was study a map of the school grounds. She was off and away full tilt doing her best to avoid people. She wasn't sure why it was so important to go and see this person, it just was. She skidded to a halt inside of the building looking around. She searched until she found the right room (about 10 minutes later of running up and down hallways and stairs). She knocked on the door loudly wheezing slightly from being out of breath.

"Very true. When do classes and everything start, you know?" Aki asked. She wished it wasn't mandatory attendance. But of course, it would be. And it'd be one more school for her to be kicked out of. Well, a couple of those were actually worth it. she thought, hiding a smile as she remembered one. She'd actually gone for once, and of course one of the preps had started mocking her for everything. "Oh my god. You're actually here. What, gonna try being a geek now? I mean, you've already failed miserably at the 'punk' theme. It's sad, isn't it. None of the parlors'll believe you when you say you're 18, so you can't get those tattoo's you've begged for." She could still remember the girl's words. She had been so strange, actually thinking Aki cared. But, for some reason, none of the teachers appreciated it very much when she broke the girl's nose...

She nodded. Her head was still trying to settle as he talked about the island. It was after a moment that she finally remembered his questions.
"Oh. I-I was..." she blinked, trying to remember. "I was just looking in the water and someone shot about a bucket of it in my face and I guess I just fell in." she explained quickly. She relaxed a bit as he let go of her hand. She didn't think she could handle another Accident. She listened intently as he spoke. She nodded. "Yes, they do. Yours must be air." she said softly.

[She was reminding forgetful meh to post. hee hee]

"I have no idea. And I have to say I'm hoping they don't start anytime soon."

School had never been Lois's best friend, and it probably never would be. He was an intelligent boy, but even before his mutation, Lois had always been unable to concentrate. He hated being part of the "in" crowd, where girls swooned over him 24/7. Nobody ever talked about him behind his back, but that was only because they were telling things to him in his face.

((My misunderstanding, I would be grateful if someone could clean that up, OOC posts are so unruly and ugly. Thanks!))

He nodded, "I wouldn't call my gift air, but who am I to decide what things are called. That's what teachers and politicians are for, right? Haha! So, woah, what should I call you? I mean, I could go with Girl Who Had a Bucket of Water in the Face, but I'm sure that's nowhere near as lovely as your real name. Hey, standing is such a pain, have a seat, have a seat." Lite floated down onto the shoreline in a very informal position, motioning with his hand for her to sit down as well. "Well, with accidents like that, I always say: where's the fun in life without a little adventure or two, right? Haha, though I'm sure the whole bucket thing was just a big misunderstanding. And really, the water is wet, so I'm sure falling in would make you pretty damp as well. Haha. But you're lucky though, earlier I saw some wicked looking fish and I think they might be piranha or barracuda and they're native to uh... where are we again? But really, you should be more careful." Lite talked casually, as if to a sibling, but was abruptly interrupted.

"Oh look! A fish!" He grabbed some long-shafted plant and tried to use it as a fishing rod. "Maybe, if I catch it, we can eat it. That would be totally awesome, man."

Aki smiled. "So will you actually be going everyday, or skipping?" she asked carefully, not wanting to freak him out. She'd be thrilled to have someone else to avoid the school with. Provided he wasn't one of the people who religiously went and never skipped a day. Unless she had a good reason, she wouldn't go every day in a week. It'd been years since she had, and that was before she started skipping. Before she was sick of it all.
