Unconciously, Kyfen avoided the orphanage that served as his home. It wasn't as if he never wanted to go there, he just didn't want to be there... right now. Kicking stones up the path, he meandred into the festivities area, where the stalls and shows had only recentely began to get set up properly.
The area was busy, chock-full of people with places to go that evidentely weren't here. It was impossible to absorb even fragments of conversation, as the little clips of speech Kyfen heard were soon swallowed up by someone else speaking even louder.
Despite this, he utilized his small size to navigate in between the people, shuffling this way and that through a sea of legs and faces. Kyfen took great care not to knock into anyone, apolgoizing most profoundly ere he did. Finally, he broke out of the surging masses, into the thin band of space between the moving population and the strange assortment of children and teenagers that were gathered together. They were all very closed in, forming there own little group. The one that stood out most of all wore a long, ominous black cape, who seemed to radiate power and darkness.
Kyfen's heart skipped a beat. Somehow, for some reason, he could not tear his eyes away from the group. There was something about them he'd never witnessed before.

Still transfixed by the otherworldly group, Kyfen nevertheless identified the girl coming towards him. She stumbled a few times, over little kids that were slacking off work, but did eventually reach him.
She was pretty; with large eyes and long, plae hair. Looking quickly at the foursome, she addressed him directely.
"Hi- Why are you staring at the people over there?" She said, so bluntly Kyfen was a little taken aback.
"Wh-Wha?" He said, finally breaking free from the black-caped one and facing her. "I'm... I'm sorry." Kyfen scratched the back of him neck, anxious. Then, all of a sudden, he recognised the girl. She was the one from the festival.
"Do you know them?" He asked, trying to put the co-incidence out of his mind. "Those four, I mean. Who are they?"

"Well, sorta..." she paused, "No, not really... wait? those four?" That surprised her when she realized what he had said then recovered from her surprise by saying, "are you an Immortal?"
She said it flat out, since she had no other way of saying it, and if he wasn't Immortal, Lynn had three options, tell him, kill him, or say that she had made a mistake and hoped that he would forget about it. Or course, if he was an Immortal, then there was no problem. She could always use more friends like herself.

Cyrea twitched. "Matt. Sally. Are you two DEAD? That's my job. Anyway, tell Lynn that if her performance isn't good enough, I'm pulling her from the mortal world." Cyrea shook her head. She could feel eyes boring down on her, so she threw her scythe up. It spun and hung in the air. She leaped and sat upon it, now 5 feet above even the tallest head in the crowd. She stared across the field of heads, moving her scythe around and looking for the eyes.

Walking across a shore line yata starts to curse himself for not being able to start another minor war. it was getting boring pretty quick for him. his only other option is to assiasinate the man, hope fully that'll start something he can enjoy. but why now he heard there was sopposed to be a festival not far away. so why not got there and see what trouble he can stir up. besides he doesn't have any thing better to do than see if he can swim the oceans from one country to another. thinking to himself, i otta add that to my list of thing to do. he walks off.

Lynn blinked, still not sure if the boy could really be an immortal or not, she went down, so as not to make him worry about her. She felt that answering the boys question might help him understand, if she explained it right, but she felt like confusing him even more, so she answered his question, "I think that's Cyrea's scythe," she paused, not planning to tell him more, she stood then said, "you should stand up, only we can see it and her, so you on the ground there looks a little strange to the mortals around us."

"Cyrea," Lynn said, disgusted by having to be near her, she really, really didn't like her. She exaggerated a bow to her, and then straightened, fixing her dress and hair band back into the right positions. "You looking extra gloomy today, with your black cloak on, covering any expression you could make while hiding form the ignorant mortals that surround you. Why don't you just kill them all? I think that would be the easiest way to get rid of the stench they cerated on our world, right?"
Lynn was obviously trying to pick a fight with Cyrea, regardless of the chances of the surrounding mortals' survival. It's not like Cyrea or she could die, considering that they were both Immortals. And Lynn didn't care one way or another about the mortals lives.

Conall stepped out of a building, shuko dripping blood. He had the usual smear of blood across him, and he lifted a claw and licked the blood off of it. Nobody saw him as he was the only person around, and he took off the claws. He walked a bit down the street and found a fountain. He took some water in his hands and rinsed some of the blood off of him, mainly just off his face, and walked away as fire began to seep through the building, engulfing it until it was nothing but a tower of flame. Conall walked away from his most recent joy, placing the shuko in his coat pocket.
