Wasn't Hao reincarnated as a Patch once???!!! He was one of the Ten Priests at one point in time. That's why Silva and Yoh are related somehow and where Hao got the Spirit of Fire. It's a little confusing...I got it from someone on another forum who also seemed like the only person who knew what was going on. rolleyes "As for the question, How did the Spirit of Fire become Hao's spirit, I think I have the answer. SOF became Hao's spirit in his previous life, since he comes back every 500 years to participate in the Shaman Tournament. Hao was a Ten Priest (surprisingly). For some reason (I can't remember why exactly), the other Ten Priests well, didn't like him. He left his kid and wife and took the spirit of fire with him. Apperently, the spirit of fire was the Ten Priests, until Hao took SOF with him. it was chief's not ten preist's there native american preist's are only of orgonized religion wich they are not.And he stole the SOF from them to try to get the king of spirit's again but he was killed by Yohken Asakura before he could do so." -M_La O_o My head hurts...

He was ticked off about what the humans were doing to the environment and that's why he wants to get rid of them. ^^
