As the enemies make their moves Vincent takes off, bellowing out a warcry as he charges like an enraged bull at the senient globster. One of the soldier globsters attempts to block the way, but Vincent merely grabs it by the throat with one hand and sends it spiraling through the air. Before it ever hits the ground Demetry takes flight, catching the creature in his powerful jaws before ripping the creature to shreds. Demetry stops only once to swat at a passing soldier, nailing it in the chest with a mighty swing of his tail. Meanwhile, Vincent continues his charge, screaming out to the spirits for strength as he clotheslines another soldier. In responce to his call, six magnificant wings sprout from his back, the white of the feathers seemingly glowing with a pristine, holy power. Vincent launches into the air as his clothing transforms, his all black outfit exploding in a burst of holy energy; even the scar left by the demonic sword has changed, its intricate design physically glowing with a soft, blue-white light. Vincent stares at his target as he decends, screaming to the Dawn Overwatch, "I WARNED YOU BEAST! NOW YOU MUST PAY FOR YOUR TRANSGRETIONS!" Vincent closes in, the fear of the creature almost palpable as it realizes its terrible, grave mistake...

((True, that was a mistake, but it luckily doesn't matter right here; as this fight had a different objective than the usual. Rememer this, these first few fights were nothing more than mere dips into the gauntlet I've prepared... Bwahahaha!))

The two sides clash in a heated battle, although it is abrubtly ended. As Vincent decends to deal a death-blow, two soldiers move in to finish Lance. However, both had no time to land the final swipe as hundreds of thick, leafy vines come from all sides and ensare you. With the case of Vincent, one of the nearby trees somehow stretch its branches to create a thick wall of green to block the paladin's kill. From these weaved brambles, hundreds of the tentacle like vines helped ensnare Vincent.

Suddenly, you notice six people to your left. They matched the scenery quite well, and seemed to be all dressed in similar dressings. The globsters parted, giving them unobstructed view of the battlefield. Around you, even more of the globsters disperse into the darkenss, as a dire wolf, dire bear, a panther, a hawk, and a giant spider materialize out of the darkening forests.

One of them stood out among the rest. Although she was dressed in similar leather armor and a animal skin cloak, she seemed to exude authority and was apparently their leader. Of course, her having six feathers on the cloak's head; or the fact that she was infront of the others, confirmed the guess. Her slightly slanted eyes, vegitation decorated hair, long angular elven ears, and magical connection with nature show you she is an elven druid.

"Fouling up our sacred lands with blood-shed? Infant, Guard, Warrior, Holy-roller, and Half-cat?" Solstice was about to say something when she shushed him; she was mad. The other druids each took a step back while still maintaining the magic. "You dare to kill in our sanctuary? Have you no respect for us?! The ones who've looked over your town for decades in the past?" See seemed to not acknowledge Blaze, or Lance.

The Overwatch, still entangled in an uncomfortable position, sqawked something you didn't understand. The druid lady fixed a seething glare upon Vincent before the dawn bezerker squawked a reply. She simply placed her head in her hands. Some of the other druids rolled their eyes. "Explain, or I'll order your deaths." She spoke to everyone, globster and adventurer.

"Listen, druid." Vincent said with an uncomfortable tone to his voice. "Release me from these blessed vines so I can talk more openly with you. But I've lived with you druids before so I know that that is a futile argument till you deem me to not be a threat, so I'll continue." Vincent attempts (unsuccessfully) to adjust himself before he actually continues, "These "globsters", as they are called, have long plagued the good citizens of St. Augustina. For you to protect these creatures as they kill the people that you supposedly protect, cut off their livelihood, clog up there rivers and streams to deny them water and kill there crops is simply madness!" Vincent subtely adjusts the Crystal Edge, with its magically keen edge, to make it easy to begin to cut away the vines while he talks, "You are no protectors, and for you to protect these unnatural beasts as they destroy the very life around you is simply unfathomable and beyond all reason. Besides, these creatures attacked us with lethal intentions before we even tried to issue a fight. They brought their deaths themselves."

"I'm glad to see you realize the truth." Vincent says as he puts away the crystal edge and rubs his sore muscles, "And what pendant?...You mean this?" Vincent questions as he mounts one of the horses. Vincent pulls the simple necklace that Blaze had mysteriously acquired over his head and holds it aloft for the druid to see.

"Blaze is one of the robots owned by the cat girl." Vincent hands the necklace to her with no trouble to speak of. "Here you are. So where are we heading."

"Lead the way..." Vincent mutters as he urges his mount foward.
