Glancing down at her drink, Tinania lets out a small chuckle "No, just felt the need to drink. And its rum and coke, nothing to crazy as I have to drive later." setting her glance down on the counter, she orders herself another before she looks back to Tourmaline. Her wings slowly moving behind her as she looks towards the dance floor.
"So how come your not out there? You seem like you would have much more fun?" turning back to her, she smiles as she remembers the dances she use to dance. She was wild and enjoyed the music. It consumed her, and made her feel alive. Then she remembered who she was with, and quickly attempted to forget about it.

Tourma followed the other's eyes out to the dance floor and watched for a moment before shrugging, "Everyone's talking, but when I dance I get lost in myself. It's freeing..."
A frown came across her lips, but it was fleeting. "Besides, I come here often... Ever since I was younger." Noticing Tinania's expression, she edged her with an elbow. "Your eyes look dark and twisty, want to vent? I guarantee I don't have anyone to really gossip to. I'm an information safe."
She offered the other a grin while motioning to the bartender for one of her usual, a glass of some strawberry soda concoction. It came with the rum and coke, and glowed a vibrant pink. Even she had to admit that they were addicting for their sheer cuteness. Okay, well maybe not admit out loud or to anyone, but still.

Tinania eyes Tourma for a moment, before motioning towords the dance floor "Me and Surion, we use to be engaged. Almost married, so when i see him I just go back to thinking about how things were, before he vanished. I won't lie, I miss him. But I can't go back, not now. Beside I doubt he would take me back." taking a sip of her drink, she nods "And I know how you feel about dancing. I was like that also."
Crossing her legs, she chuckles before pushing her blond hair from her face "I miss the scene, all the dancing and just having fun. The only reason I am out is because Lucas is watching our son Seiji. If he wasn't, I would be at home working on paperwork."

"Hmm... Well I randomly met him earlier this week, but he told me he lost his memory. Then made some sort of crystal thing." Tourma made a dismissive hand motion, more for Tinania's benefit than her own. "I think having chunks of your life taken away regardless of reasons will change a person too much. You can go back, but it'll change you too." She took a sip of her drink. "At least, I think that a journey like that would change you."
"The scene will always be tempting. Though, it'd be nice to go on an adventure somewhere. I'm always so jealous of all these people that have intricate pasts to figure out, or magical skills that need epic quests to develop." Brewing over the right of passage that never really applied to her, Tourma drank some more thoughtfully.
Her tail wrapped around her as someone next to them made a jovial swipe for it, but her attention remained on Tinania. "Not to pry, but did you marry someone else, or...?" Her brow dented somewhat, but her overall expression remained friendly.

Laughing Tinania shakes her head as she smiles "Heavens no, I never got married. Lucas is this guy I am dating right now. And I have a adopted son, but that pretty much it." pausing she looks down at her hand, where her rings use to be "And I don't think I ever will. Truth is, even Lucas hasn't made me feel the way Surion did. And I don't think anyone ever will." downing the rest of her drink, she sighs.
"Trust me you don't want to go on any adventures. I have always wish I could live a normal life. But with how my family is, its not possible it seems." leaning forward, she rest her arms on her legs, her wings folding so they rest against her back.

Tourmaline listened to her and nodded, "I don't have high hopes for getting married, but that's because I've been glass half full lately. I'm jealous of my parents though. They're that perfect couple. Actually it kind of makes me sick sometimes." She chuckled and shook her head.
As the other downed her drink, Tourma raised an eyebrow. She didn't nag, but she made a mental note just in case Tinania needed a ride home.
"Try having metal inside you. Skeleton, some muscle, etc. Loads of fun." The bitterness in her voice was clear as a bell, but the teenager attempted to stuff her pity party BACK inside. This wasn't going to turn into a shitty life pissing contest.

Tinania winces before she shakes her head "No metal inside my body, but I have been stabbed. By someone who was a friend then became obsessed with me." setting the drink down on the counter, she lifts her hands above her head.
Setting her hands back down on her lap, she glances around before frowning "Feel like going outside to talk? To many inside here, and lords knows I don't want everyone listening in like the two girls behind you."

"******** people who stab you. I hope you got them back." Tourma peered at the fairy critically. The Look was broken at the mention of two girls behind her, and she immediately turned and shot an evil eye at them. Luckily for them, Tourma didn't feel like causing trouble (or getting blood on her clothes), so she simply informed them not to be eavesdropping shitfaces.
Turning back around, Tourma drank the rest of her drink and payed. "Let's get out of here then, before the drunken men hit their bold mark."
Once the checks were settled, she grabbed Tinania's hand while clearing a path to the door. If someone wouldn't move, a simple shoulder check usually did the trick. Hey, she made sure to say "Excuse Me" every time!

Moving through the crowd with Tourma, she was glad when they managed to step outside away from the noise for now. Leaning against the wall she glances out over the street "Much better, I was in much need of air. Its the first time I have been to a club in ages. Too much at once." pulling off her jacket, she slips it around her waist so the wing can brush against the skin that was bare thanks to her halter.
Turning she looks to Tourma "I don't meant to sound offending, but how did you end up with a metal skeleton? Did you get hurt pretty badly?" she only asked because she was concerned about her.

"It can be overwhelming," she agreed, letting the summer breeze pleasantly wash over her.
The next question caused her to frown once more, "It's genetic... Like a disease." She poked at the fleck showing on her cheek for emphasis. "It makes me weigh a ******** ton. Makes dancing ballet... lonely. Plus I'm prone to drowning and everything failing if I get to cold."
Taking a deep breath, Tourma settled herself by stuffing a piece of gum from her pocket into her mouth. She offered Tinania a piece while debating whether or not to apologize for the angry mini rant.

Tinania nods as she listens to Tourma mini rant "Sortof like the curse that was on my family. How the women, when angry could drain a person's soul. Yea I think I understand now." taking the piece of gum, she smiles "I can see where dancing ballet gets lonely. But don't let it get to you, trust me if you do it will consume you."
Sticking the gum into her mouth, she thinks for a moment before looking back "I think being different makes you even better. Would you rather be the girls who have nothing special about them, so they sit there listening to us?"

Absently, she wondered what it'd feel like to consume someone's soul, but she kept the thought to herself.
It was clear that it had already begun to consume her. Literally. The nearby streetlight brought out the shadows and contrasts of her her bones, which were accentuated by her lack of previous weight and health. Tourmaline grew silent as the older female continued to speak.
The words hit home, but conflicted heavily with what her coach had told her and her desires to become a serious dancer. All the dancers she knew watched their weight, and it had been long overdue for her to start doing such as well.
"I just want to dance. I'm great at it! I just..." She paused, kicking at a piece of loose concrete with the toe of her shoe. "None of the guys can lift me, so I can't have a partner. I can't dance the roles I -deserve-! I need to, but I can't."
Her eyes blinked rapidly to hold back the moisture threatening to spill as she looked up at the night sky. No crying. She refused.

Shaking her head, Tinania frowns as she steps towards Tourma. Placing her hand lightly on her shoulder she smiles as her "Your fine the way you are Tourma, and I am sure there are roles. Huge roles that you don't need a partner. Beside why would you want to have a man pick you up? Just so they can get a free grope of your body?" she was trying to lighten the mood, for Tourma sake.
Brushing at her hair lightly, in a friendly matter she smiles "Trust me when I say this, don't change yourself, or think something is wrong with you. Because even if you believe it, I bet you ten dollars that there are twenty people who think you are fine." taking a step back, she falls quiet as she leans against the wall.

Not expecting the contact and slightly in her own world, Tourmaline jumped slightly when Tinania touched her shoulder. A deep breath later and she attempted a reassuring smile, though it came out forced. "I'll be fine, don't worry. I'm working on it."
A strained laughed followed the joke, and she tried not to think of just how beautiful lifts were in both ballet and ballroom dancing. The envy ate her up inside.
"I'll be fine," the Skullmonkey repeated, a little firmer this time, and with the addition of a more believable smile. However, she couldn't help but lean into the touch. "How long have you and Lucas been dating?" Tourma asked suddenly. Subject change GO!

Tinania shrugs before she pulls away, if Tourma says she would be fine then she believed her. Looking down at the ground Tinania licks at her bottom lip "About a few months now, but already he is scaring me. We had to trick his father, saying we were married. But now I think he believes it, and its sortof bugging me."
Shaking her head she frowns before sighing "He a great guy, its just..right now. I am not ready for that, because I can't handle another heartbreak. I want a guy who want break my heart."
