The path to the pond is empty, baren of all moving life. The stench of blood grew stronger as you aproached the pond and the sun continued to set. About 1/2 mile away from the pond you see a bat fly above your head as the sun has almost fully set.

"Well, lets have a look shall we?" he snapped his fingers and a small green ball of light puffed up out of nowhere.
"Well, c'ome my little friend, lets ha-" The thing vanished. Bellamin summoned it again, and it promptly vanished in fear.
"Okay... Guess it really doesn't like this either." With a sigh, he bent down to look at his reflection in the water. "Y'know? tainted unholy water could sell pretty good on the occult, and alchemy markets?" He started to form pyramid schemes in spit of their dire, and certainly dangerous, situation.

Lugh follows firu and readies his lance, scanning the area, once in a while his eyes would focus on the bat.
"humans have an uncontrollable fear of the night, tough it varies in severity every one feels something when its dark, I suggest we take a look around the area, maybe even set up camp.

Raven bends down, placing her hand to the ground and attempting to scan the area for any non-plant life. She quickly takes her hand away, almost as if the mere act had caused her pain. She stands and turns to the others, "The taint of this place is nearly complete. I can't even speak to the spirits here...they have been...perverted into something beyond evil. That smell..." Raven suddenly changes subject as she walks to the edge of the pond and peers in, looking more closely at the contents of the pond...whatever they may be...

The contents of the pond, to the party's surprise, was red. To be more exact, it contained blood. The wind blew through the trees and some leaves fell into the pond of blood. In an instant, as they touched the pond, they shriveled up and turned into dust. About 30 feet from the party's position was a bridge that stretched the distance of the pond. The pond was about 1 mile long. Some more bats flew above your heads and, if you listened closely, you could hear some feet land on the wooden bridge.

"...So who wants to lead the way over the pond of death?" Raven says with a small shiver. She then hears the sound of boots landing on the floor of the bridge, "...Bats over head...a pond of blood beneath...vampire anyone?"

Lugh's eyes narrowed, "vampires, tainted humans who have an addition to blood, they too shall be my prey." said lugh as he took a few steps on the bridge, "I shall lead the way."
Lugh dug into his satchel and pulled out a sphere, after a few magic words the sphere flew into the air and began to glow, illuminating the area around the party with a soft white light.
"I figured a mooncrystal would come in handy after nightfall."

Suddenly, the pyramind schemes drained from his face. Leaving his hand on his sword, Bellamin gestured to the bridge. "Lead the way, valiant hunter." He said in a low tone; for bats had good hearing.
