Harvested Sorrow MetalHead76 The Wall is definitely sold in the U.S. Mainly in Target. I still haven't seen it, but I have heard from many a source that it is an awesome movie. I got Dazed and COnfused for Christmas, and I STILL have not gotten around to watching. Mainly because I know it's got some major language and drug use in it, and my parents would be pretty TOed. I picked up The Wall recently at my local Wal-Mart. And what is Dazed And Confused about? Is a Led Zeppelin documentary? And goddamn, I can't believe they had the gall to name it Dazed And Confused; there goes another piece of what respect I had left for that band. Hell, I'm suprised they haven't ********' re-united without Bonham (sp?) yet, for the sake of yet another cash-grab reunion. stressed It isn't a Zeppelin documentary,it's a stoner flick. xp

It's not a stoner flick although it could be. It's more about the mood and feel of the 70s. A generation somewhat lost (hence dazed and confused, although it is related to the song). The 60s are over and they were groundbreaking, they changed the world. The war is over and soldiers are back at home and most shaken up. What happened during the 70s that was so great? Not much. Therefore, many of the kids during those days focused on music and many did drugs to help them find something, what they were looking for I'm not too sure about. But anyways, that is, at the very least, what I interpreted the movie as. Sorry I haven't been around for a while. School, sports, etc. Very time consuming indeed.

I may actually end up watching that movie some time, now. As for the bolded part... Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Rainbow.... Enough said. xp And don't worry about not being here for a while, if other stuff consumes your time, so be it. I'm just glad to see that you haven't abandoned us completely.

I've been gone a whole lot, too, so don't worry about it.
I was watching Wayne's World 2, and I had to go somewhere so I paused it. While I was gone, my mom took it out of the DVD player and sent it back (Netflix). Downgrade.

Ok, has anyone seen Be Cool in here? It's not really technically about music, but Aerosmith does make an appearance and plays Sweet Emotion. Suffice it to say I was disappointed when John Travolta went into this tangent about the "real" meaning behind that song. He said it was about Steven Tyler being a dad for the first time and the "realness" of it, to which Tyler agreed. You know what I say to that...bullshit. For any of you who know the story behind Sweet Emotion, then you understand my dismay. Anyways, save for that part, the movie was hilarious. See it!

Haven't seen it, but it looks pretty good.
Started watching Dazed and Confused last night, but had to stop because my eight year old cousin came into the room.

I mean, it didn't do great in theatres but sold really good when it came out. It actually got 3 out of 4 stars. Heh, don't worry I know how that is, I have an 8 year old brother. stressed
