Proudly_Jewish Lemmie I read somewhere that Finnish stemmed from a Turkic language-is this true or do I need more reliable sources? Actually, that's considered inaccurate by most modern linguists. At one point there was debate over whether Finnish (or maybe it was Hungarian, I don't remember sweatdrop I think it was Finnish... ) whether Finnish was related to Hungarian (part of the Uraliac language family, I think) or related to Turkish whee nowadays most linguists agree that it's related to Hungarian as opposed to Turkish actually it belongs in it's own category Finic
