Kokoroki Felucca I read that Polish is the hardest language a foreigner could ever learn.
Makes you a tad bit interested in learning it, no? no it's not Finnish is (it's been proven) Japanese is. It's the only college class that gets you five credits. Nothing else does and nothing else gets you more. (Except maybe Russian.) UNLESS You are learnig from Chinese, Korean, and I blieve there is one more... I would love to learn Polish. Can someone give me a decent sized volcabulary list? I'm making a big list of words from different languages if you didn't see my post in my help thread on the main forum. Should I give everyone a long list of English words I would like translated?

EDIT: Unless they're in high school doing it for college or something like that. Then it counts for 5 credits.

I'll be glad if any of you will give me the lyrics to the Polish's version of the song "Once upon a December", from the movie Anastasia. Here's a clip of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npEKXlI8bd0Thanking you in advance.

Has anyone taken Polish in college ?
And if so, has it been useful ? Do you learn much ? I am thinking of doing it and I would like to be fluent someday...

I'm trying to learn Polish... half my family is fluent in it, and so are a lot of my friends.
It's proven difficult so far...
Edit: My Polish skills have actually taken off. I can hold a simple conversation with my friends in Polish~!
Znam troche polski. A ty?

Though I'm way way late, in response to some of the above posts: None of those languages are near being called "the hardest". I have mild to a lot of all of the mentioned languages, and no, they are not that hard. Hungairan and Finnish are wierd for sure, but not that bad. And Japanese? Japanese is nothing.
