Yes. I like my comfy shoulder rest. Last year my teacher told me to get one, but I kept putting it off. Finally, she gave in and got one from her part-time job at a music store.

I've forgotten my music many, many times. Same with rosin. Once, I almost left the house without my violin. That would have been a disaster.

No. I used to hold my bow wrong, but my teacher got on my case last year and forced me to change. Now I hardly even notice the difference.

I can't play smooth. The violin squeaks a lot, and my notes almost always sound staccatto.
