Norwegian isn't hard to understand. Danish, on the other hand, is... almost impossible. xD Norwegian sounds to me a lot more like Swedish than Danish does.

Mivi Norwegian isn't hard to understand. Danish, on the other hand, is... almost impossible. xD Norwegian sounds to me a lot more like Swedish than Danish does. Swedish, Norweigian and Danish all are relatively similar, though very different and Norweigians, Swedes, and Danes question all can understand each other to a degree. Norweigian is the best to know between the tree of them because Norweigian is more like Danish and Swedish then Danish or Swedish is like the other two. So it is the middle language. 3nodding Norweigian Pride blaugh .

Proudly_Jewish If I understand correctly, Danish is the odd one out surprised In some ways, yes. Also, no. It depends on. At some points Danish is the odd one out and at some one od the others are the odd one out. And "I love France" in Norwegian could be "Jeg elsker Frankrike", but I'm not really sure. Dunno how to say 'France' in Bokmal.

Danish is an official language of Greenland, I guess that's what they referred to. (And it's not and official language of Iceland!) The only knowledge of Greenlandic languages I have is from Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow. Reminds me that I want to re-read that book.
I translate Norwegian lyrics with a Swedish dictionary.
