Abby raised her eyebrows. "You have abs?" She asked shocked. "Let me see." Without her asking him, she raised up his shirt and examined it. His abs were gorgeous. Even in high school she was a sucker for abs. But Abby shrugged. "Eh, I've seen bigger."

You're ruining everything.
Jole didn't say what was on his mind. He didn't want Abby to think of him the way he thought of Billy.
"How are you, sport?" he smiled, extending a tanned hand to Daichi.

Daichi paled. "Y-you're-!" He shook Jole's hand wide-eyed.
Charlie smiled, giggling quietly.
Perry chuckled. "Yes that is THE Jole of the South." he told Daichi, bringing the food out.

Finally, something's going right.
He shot Abby a sly look, pulled his t-shirt back and smiled wonderfully. "Yep, it's me all right," he answered, beaming and tilting his head ever so slightly to the side. "Jole from the South is back where he belongs!" He laughed lightly.

Abby folded her arms with a smirk. "I knew you were popular but never knew you could make someone stop breathing." She looked at the kid but then began to worry. "Breath!" She said. The kid literally stopped breathing. "By the way my roommate loves you." She didn't want to admit it but she did too. In her mind, telling him would seem a little awkward.

Daichi let out the held breath, color returning to his face.
"Daichi, we fixed the jukebox!" Charlie steered him away from Jole, so they would avoid any awkward situations. Her hand ached and burned, but she ignored it, the only show of pain was a wince and a pained smile.

Abby looked at Charlie. "Maybe you should run that under cold water." She suggested. "It could blister you know."

Jole watched Charlie lead Daichi away, feeling grateful. He turned to Abby with a small smile.
"So, your roommate likes my music, huh?" He stretched his arms out as far as they would go, his t-shirt pulling tight to the contours of his torso. He watched Abby carefully. "She has good taste," he answered finally, lowering his arms and putting them around Abby's shoulders.

Abby shrugged. "I guess she does." Jole put his arms around her shoulder.
Smooth, Romeo. Very smooth. She thought sarcastically to herself. Instead of saying anything she just rolled her eyes. But for some reason she let his arm stay there. It was weird. Normally, she would hurt the guy in his lower region. But with Jole it was different. Then again it was Jole.

Charlie dropped a few quarters in Daichi's hand, and watched him cue up some of the older songs. She listened quietly as the song came on. She sighed, it was too slow. It was sort of depressing too. 'Set the Fire to the Third Bar' by Snow Patrol played softly over the stereo. 'I find the map and draw a straight line Over rivers, farms, and state lines The distance from 'A' to where you'd be It's only finger-lengths that I see I touch the place where I'd find your face My finger in creases of distant dark places' The two people sang in unison. Charlie grabbed some sweet tea and began to drink, listening quietly for a moment, then going to serve some customers.

((Elphy, I love that post xD It honestly made me laugh...))
His stomach twitched inside him. She didn't seem to be moving his arms away, like some of the stuck-up girls back at California. Jole could feel the excitement rising up though his body, as his stomach gave another twitch...
He didn't say anything. He couldn't think anymore.

Charlie's head shot up. "Mail!" She whispered, then shot out the door and across the street to the mail box.
Perry watched silently, smiling.
Daichi looked up from his selections, and opened his mouth to ask Jole something.
"Daich!" Perry called out. "Charlie finished baking the pie."
"Ooh!" He rushed over to the counter.

(Good me too. Does Abby have her coffee and food? I'm confused.) Abby looked around at the other customers in the resturant. The she realized something. "I know this is random. But you smell really good." She said. The song playing in the background was beginning to annoy her. She wanted something fast not slow.

As if bending to Abby's will the song switched to the new upbeat pop song by Natasha Bedingfield. Perry looked at Daichi with a raised eyebrow, but the kid was munching on peach pie. ((She has both))
