He laughed and wiggled out from under the bed, watching her walk. He started to hum contentedly, lying on his back in the middle of the floor, his eyes shut, and his hands extended to the ceiling, stretching out slowly. He groaned happily as he felt himself expand, then paused, contemplating the idea of sneaking into the washroom to bother Lus.

She returned minutes later clad in riding gear and a hat that looks strangly like that one I am wearing. She glanced around the floor, not even seeing Luke till she almost stepped on him. "There you are. Come on. We're going to the valley of Limnos today. And since I knew you'd complain if I tried to fly myself there we're taking griffins. Now hurry up, we don't have all day. It's far to the south from here." Once her mind was set, she rarely paid attention to anything else. So Princess Illusion swept out of the room with such grace it would've shattered a dancers confidence, and went to the kitchens to grab a few bites to eat before they left.

Amaya saw the castle on top of the mountain. She was almost there. Her trip took up most of the night, but she had made a lot of progress. She started for the top.

Illusion looked around at the maids and servants, who were yet again subconciously guilt tripping her about leaving so soon. Luke can catch up later. She thought as she grabbed and apple and dashed to the stables where the griffins were kept. Tossing herself over the stable doors, she immediately went over to the midnight black one, it was her shadows favorite. She mounted and started talking to in a loving tone "it's been a while. You're older now, much stronger?" The Griffin gave her an 'of course I've gotten stronger you nitwit!' look, it didn't need to talk for her to understand that much. "Then show me." She commanded happily as it walked out of the stables. It didn't want to take off till it left the city.

Amaya made it to the top, around where the stables were and saw Illusion with her griffin coming out of them.
"I thought I would find you here." She walked forward to greet her.

A smile grew in place over her face. "Amaya!!!" With the force that Illusion jumped off to give her strange friend who had a relationship that bordered between friend and aquantance, They almost both fell to the ground which would've been bad because they were on the edge of a cliff part of the mountain. "How have you been? Where have you been? What have you been doing? How's the capital city?"

"I've been good, and I just came from the castle in the capital. I've been promoted to mage by Colm, and he told me to come here to ask about open positions in the government. I wanted to help out with everything. And how have you been? Why'd you come here?" Amaya asked her.

"Open positions? Well, depending on which arts you're studying, I suposse we do need a royal healer or spell caster." In her mind she started compilling lists of positions they would need. Like some better body guards. "Why am I here? Got stressed out. Too much going on ya know? Better now though. I was going to visit the valley of Limnos. We may be having a food shortage this winter."

Luke stalked after the girls on the air, but stayed well away, outside listening distance. He watched Illusion perfunctorily, but let his mind and eyes wander- he was on vacation!
He strolled happily, silhouetted against the sky, watching the bustling streets below, tracing the little curved streets as they wandered in and out of the cliffs. The colors and scents drifted up lazily, as the morning was still fairly fresh, and the smell of fresh breads was extremely enticing.

She nodded in agreement. "I'm not sure though...you could share my mount if you wish, or I could fly. I've been advised to give my wings a rest though." A thought occured to her. "How are you able to be up here and not be light-headed? We're miles above sea level! Normally people pass out before they get near here."

"Huh?" Amaya hadn't thought about it. "I don't know.... I just climbed up here and I haven't been feeling light-headed or anything."

Lus looked at her concerned. "I was afraid you'd say that. You may get altitude sickness. Here, take these." She reached into one of the packs she had strapped to the griffin and pulled out a small vial filled with liquid. "Down it and you won't need to worry about it. Last thing we need is for you to pass out. Now jump on. It's a long trip south."

Amaya took one of the vials and quickly drank it after examining it. Then she got onto the griffin after Illusion did.

"Alright." She gave her a second paid of reigns. "Hold on tight, don't freak at the turbulence." She gently nudged the creature and it shot off towards the sky
