I was nothing before metal.Sounds of Black Sabbath and The doors are the sounds of my childhood.I went real into metal when i was 10 or 11.

MegaTherion777 @ digi - SRV and eric clapton are rock talk2hand that's debatable. Have you heard much of Clapton's newer stuff? I saw him in concert last year, and it's mostly blues stuff he plays these days.

Volvy MegaTherion777 @ digi - SRV and eric clapton are rock talk2hand that's debatable. Have you heard much of Clapton's newer stuff? I saw him in concert last year, and it's mostly blues stuff he plays these days. he certainly has a great blues influence, but the majority of the clapton catalog is *rock*

And his roots were in the blues, so I think calling him a blues guitarist is reasonable, though you could ALSO call him a rock guitarist. I don't think I've ever heard anybody call SRV rock, though.
