Fate had been scouting around for about an hour now, his phase shift spell really helped with hunting. It was his main mode of transport, it was air element, and when cast can jump the caster short distances. It is useful, very useful, for this kind of thing. Fate had finally settled on a small herd of gazelle. The gazelle was a good source of meat, since there were so many. And it was rumored that the nature of the gazelle in the fire territory yielded more meat. Since they were more physically active, they had more of it on their bones. Fate counted about 7 or 8 in the small pack, he was hoping he could get them all. It would be tough, but he was confident. Fate switched to earth, the element used to control the shape of the world. He would make a trap straight out of the ground, it would be genius. Fate stepped out of his hiding spot, and revealed himself to the animals. They immediately looked up from their grazing and began studying him. Yes, occupy yourselves. I'll need a distraction." He said to himself. Fate brought his fists together, and gave himself a rock hard stance. He raised his connected fists, and then brought them down and apart in one swift motion. From a ways away, a line of dust exploded from behind the pack. They got startled and began to run away, toward Fate. He would have to act fast. Fate raised his hands again, and slammed them together. A wall of solid earth made itself visible in the distance. Fate then pulled back toward him, and then up. Then he moved his feet so they were facing the opposite direction, and did the same thing. Two lines of dust trailed back and forth to his sides. Fate crouched down, then pushed up on some invisible force. Two more walls shot up from his left and right. These connected with the first one in the distance. Then, with one more stance, Fate whirled his hands left and right in a helicopter motion. Two lines of dust shot from him to the left and right, connecting with the two newest walls. Then, Fate crouched down again, and pushed up one more time. Another wall shot up from the ground, right in front of him. He had done it, he had made a cage of earth with his magic. "Oh my, not every day I get to use anything else but fire. Never thought I would ever end up doing this." Now was the question of how he would bring them home...
"Oops, guess I didn't think ahead very well." He said to himself.

Akki reached the city walls and pushed open the door slightly to let herself in, she made her way though the city, past the temple, inns, bars, and everything to the very southern end of the city where her small home lay. Yuuki made his way in through the open window on the top floor. She never bother to lock the house or close the window, she had nothing of great value in he house, well, she did but it was just to well hidden for even the most skilled of thieves to find.
She stepped into her her house and made her way into a small-ish room were an alter lay, flowers and incense,a picture of a young man and a small pouch containing a small trinket lay there. She lite a new incense and knelt down.
"Im home Nii-san, sorry to have left you so long, but i went to the River clan to see if there was any news on okaa-san, or otou-san but my ventures lead me to nothing..as always." she spoke to the picture of the young man, he looked to be in his late 20's. though he had died much older than that it was the only picture she had of her brother.

Maybe i should travel around for a wile and get out of here for a bit. Distance myself from responsibility and see the world beyond these borders. Its been a few hundred years since i have left my clan. Guess i could look for a mate though its pointless maybe i am not meant to find one thats the only conclusion i have. everyone that get two close to me dies off anyway.
Kagai was still just sitting at the thrown with his eyes closed the sound of small footsteps made his ears twitch but his eyes remained closed he felt a tug at his knee and opened his eyes looking down at a little girl may six years old with a small group of similarly aged children. She gave a smile showing a space where a tooth had fallen out.
"We want a ride"
"no..."
"please...."
"no....."
The little girl looked up at Kagai with large round eyes they began to water up giving that pouty face she probably knows will get what she wants. Kagai looked irritated his tempole fluctuated in a pulsating fashion.
"Ok...fine give me some room"
"Yay!!!" the kids all cheered and backed up several feet
Kagai stood up with a slight smile then fell over on his hands his body burst into flames when his hands touched the ground . This fire changed shape and died down revealing him in his sabertoothed tiger form. He stretched and yawned then stood up tall on all fours. The kids all jumped up onto his back the group of four plopped down comfortably and kagai pretended to give under there weight.
"You can do it!! come on" The kids all started to chant.
Kagai stoop up then began to walk for the door truth be told he could barely notice the deference with them on his back. He could feel that they were there but they were o so light that they didn't hinder him in the least. He picked up his pace into a light jog once he was out of the palace and started to circle the large building admiring the craftsmanship.

After a short wile the kids hopped off and ran about giggling and carrying on. Kagai stood up and reverted back into his human form.
"Maybe ill just go on a little walk" Kagai said to himself
With that said he started off setting one foot infront of they other just walking the longer he walked the less he was thinking. Pretty soon he was getting closer to the border of his territory.
"I need to relax maybe a hot spring could help its been to long since the last time i set foot in a place with that much spare water. Ill have to cut through Earth clan pretty shore then best springs or in river" As he spoke he crossed over from fire clan to earth.

Akki made her way up onto her rooftop and laid there looking at the sky. Yuuki joined her on the roof looking into the mountains. She gave a forlorn sigh and closed her eyes.
"the lands have changed so very much..I miss the forest, the rivers...the birds...the inn..."she opened her eyes, this fire clan was her place of origin but she rarely ever called it home, at least she had not called it home for the past 400 odd years.

Li made her way through the city entrance, pushing through the milling crowds of people, her suspicious eyes on anyone who brushed against her. well, I'm here Li thought to herself. Li had been travelling for weeks, moving like leaf on the breeze, yet she had been drawn to the fire clan in the end. Perhaps it was because Li wanted answers to what her powers were, or perhaps because the fire clan was far away from the demons and the dark clan. Surprisingly, Li was not much bothered by the hot, smoky air. Clean air had always felt so...thin. This was real air. Li continued to move through the crowd, letting the mass of bodies push her as they may. What am I doing here? Li thought with a trace of despair. Now that she had reached her goal, Li really had no idea what she was doing. can anyone actually teach me? Did Li even want to be taught? Could she trust someone enough to show her powers? Li gave a shudder, that sounded too much like exposing her weaknesses. Maybe this wasn't a good idea, maybe she should leave. Besides, sleeping under the stars was a hell of a lot better than sleeping in a slum. Perhaps she would offer her services to the clan leader, gossip she picked up on the road said he was a powerful figure but was fond of orphans, perhaps he would be well diposed towards her...but Li didn't like the idea of tying herself to a place and people she didn't know... ...the crowds continued to buffet Li along.

Akki laid on her roof looking at the spars patches of blue sky hidden behind the the dark cloud. 'the volcano by Ruins of home is going to erupt again..' Akki thought to herself only sighing in discontent of what had become of her home land.
Yuuki took flight into the city, he knew most everyone, if not personally he at least knew they belong there. He caught sight of a new wanderer. She looked scared and unsure if she should be there or not. He landed on roof nearest her to examine her closely 'i wonder where she's from?...and where the hell is Kagai...not like him to abandon his post for so long' Yuuki ruffled his feather and made a discontent chirping sound.

Crimson_Enigma Crimson followed down a path that had his faint scent, hoping that she would come up with something at the end of the tunnel. She rose to her feet as she met an obstacle. An immense stone slab blocked her from making progress. She placed her hand against the smooth surface, she tapped her fingers against it trying to judge how thick it was. Crimson judge it to be taller than it was wide. She stepped back a few paces. She knew there was something behind that wall, she could feel it. Her sense were blazing.
She closed her eyes and placed her hands infront of her, touching her fingertips together she made a 'pyramid' shape. Crimson slowed her breathing, concentrating on her heart beat, and began to feel the energy within her and in her enviornment interacting. A bright light flickered in the small space between her palms. It followed the triangular pattern as it began to pick up speed. A combination of light and friction created an increadible heat. The flesh from her fingers began to peel back. The skin began to regrow in layers as she lost it. The heat grew until it surrounded her entire body, a thin layer of orange formed around her.
Crimson opened her eyes and stepped foward toward the stone slab, it melted away. It turned a brilliant ember as it shifted from solid to an enraged molten. She paced herself, walking through, forming a door way into the next section. Part way through...she found his sword. She didn't wish to harm it.
Crimson backed up and raised her palm, closing her eyes she focused her energy into her hand. Whenever a fair sized ball of flames emerged her eye lids fluttered open and she shot the flames through the stone. She wasn't sure where it stopped, she just knew there was a large enough hole for her to climb through, along with the sword. She grabbed the hilt and jerked with all her might, removing the steel from the rock in one swift movement. She tossed the sword through the hole, it landed on the otherside. She hopped into the self-made pathway and climbed into Enishi's tomb.
She bent down to pick up his sword, however she heard gentle footsteps. Crimson turned to gaze through the stone, trying to find the source. Was it just her imagination? -The figure finally came into her view as a dark figure wrapped in armor as dark as the midnight. In the helm, two glowing red eyes stared into Crimson's soul, finding what she feared most, and what she held dear.- "Hehehe, so...you've come at last." -a cool calm voice said from under the armor. If Crimson would remember right, this was the very same armor that Kai made for him years and years ago during the war that Enishi started. "I've waited for so long to kill the one woman that could save him." -It reached out a armored arm and summoned Enishi's tachi into its grasp. The sword however stayed in the rock. The evilness had left the sword and had morphed into a nightmarish weapon that dripped blood from the three tips that twisted around the main body- "Are you ready?" -He asked, holding the massive weapon toward her neck-

Li pulled her dark hood over her face to protect her face from the relentless sun, and forced her way through the pressing throng. Li rested against a stone wall, glad for the respite. It was late afternoon now, she would soon be hungry, then sleepy. Li closed her eyes against the glare of the sun and drew deeper into to the folds of her cloak. Every one was wearing red, Li sniffed in distaste at her own black and red ensemble, she was such a cliche, at least her hair wasn't red anymore. A herbal rinse purchased from a herb woman had resulted in Li's badly-cut fiery locks to turn dark brown. I guess I'll go to the castle...maybe they'll think I'm an orphan and give me shelter Li sighed to herself. Oh wait, I am an orphan. Li shrunk back as a crowd of laughing entertainers paraded past.

Crimson wasn't surprised. She knew reviving someone that had the peak of political influence at one point and been the strongest warrior in the country at another, wouldn't be easy. She snapped her hands upward, her razor sharp nails extending. She wouldn't use her sword, no point. "More than you have tried to behead me, even remove my beating heart." She took a fighting stance, crouching a bit low. "If you think you have the balls for it, then give it a try." She gave him a evil sneer.

Li heard the sound of feathers. With a small cry, she jumped around and drew her dagger, her only weapon. There was nothing in the sky. But surely, she had heard a large bird...she was simple nervous. Turning in frustration, Li studied the hilt of her dagger, her one precious possesion that tied her to her past. The ornate handle sported a coiled dragon. It was a deep red but its eyes seemed to glow green. "that's the family emblem" Li's father had once remarked. She had never understood what he meant, unless... The tales of the ancient dragons were true. The true lords of fire the old stories had captured Li's heart as a child, but they were just stories... "Hey! Theif!!" A callused hand grabbed her own. Li started in surprise, what was this man talking about? "You took that off my table!" "Wh-what are you talking about?" Li stammered. What was going on?! Li's fearful eyes darted up to those of the shop keeper, and saw the greed that glinted in them. A crowd was gathering, she had to run! Sheathing her father's dagger, Li ripped her arm out of the greedy man's grip and ran through the gathering crowd. Summoning her power, metal urns from the next stall tumbled behind her, slowing down any would be persuers. "You! STOP" Voices called out after her, but Li didn't risk looking back, at least her face had been obscured by her hood. Her lungs burning, Li stumbled to a stop in a small alley way. A desperate sob escaped her throat. Everything was going wrong. What was she supposed to do? I thought things would be okay, I'm just a kid.... Li's head felt heavy, woozy, it seemed she wasn't as adjusted to the air as she thought she was...

Yuuki trailed after the girl as she swept by the stands and the shops waiting for her to get calm enough to slow down. But he knew there was no way she would trust a large bird at least to enough to following him back to Akki's hut. 'Akki...Akki, there is a girl running through the village, she's lost and scared, the old shop keep just tried to frame her for a theft, you better get down here, She in the alley between the spice shop and apocathary.' Yuuki stopped on the roof of the apocatharies shop and waited for Akki,
Akki heard Yuuki and jumped off her roof making her way back into the city. As she neared the alley way she saw Yuuki perched on the roof and slowly approached the alley. She could smell the girl, scared out of her wits, young, and alone. She stood at the mouth of the alley she saw her crouched down low and clutching her self. "hey...you okay kid?"

As it quickly completed its arc, a dark purple blade came rushing out of the blade towards her. This was his only long range attack, but it was powerful enough to rip a hole in any battle line.-
