Hoss flailed and glared. He didn't quite understand the language yet, but he was certainly not a child mentally. Oh, no. Underneath that chubby, purple exterior lurked the angry woman of before.
"I gueth I'd be mad too, if I woke up and wath purple and a boy." Rusty mentioned.

Shiloh shrugged. Okay, so maybe English wasn't the best idea.
"Me too," he nodded, and then brushed a bit of Hoss' hair back into place.

The fingers twitched at the touch, but Rusty forced himself not to jerk away. It was okay. Shiloh wasn't going to harm him.
And the cute was promptly interrupted by an angry, fussy, growling baby, who decided to reach out and whack at Rusty. No cutes on his watch, mister!
