An announcer person came out from the back of the stage and introduced Sock, which was the name of Strake's band. The massive curtains opened to reveal Strake standing with his blue and black guitar with a microphone in front of him on a stand. Katie was holding her bass, also with a microphone in front of her. Michelle sat at the drums, and Josh was standing playing a keyboard.

"Hello ALPHALINE!" Strake screamed at the audience. "Are you ready for the rock stylings of Sock?!" He screamed again, getting the crowd pumped up. "Our first song is called 'Paved by the Angels' and it will be sung by a girl with the voice of an angel, give it up for KATIE!" Strake introduced.

"Strake, why aren't you singing?" Katie asked, with her hand over the mic.

"Because I want you to sing, you have a beautiful voice, and you really should use it, it sure as hell beats mine." Strake said with his mic covered.

"Thanks, but it would have been nice if you told me before hand." Katie said to Strake. Michelle then counted off and they began to play "Paved by the Angels" which the crowd loved. The band played two other songs, but nothing compared "Paved by the Angels." Strake's band then left the stage.

At the sound of the announcer's voice, Melody knew that she'd have to get a move on now before she was spotted by Zack. However, she could see that he was still stressed. She pondered for a moment, then decided to go beyond the terms of bold; switching her disguise for a moment to one who was part of the set (black shirt with mid-length skirt and black shoes, carrying a clipboard), she pretended to walk by him quickly as if going to get ready for the band to go up. After all, everyone was now running about as if in panic, but mainly because it was busy back there. As she passed, she pretended to have to slightly shove by Zack with a small "excuse me!" , but whispered into his ear with a smile:

"Good luck!"

And with that, she quickly ran out the back, shifting back her disguise to the white one from before. She giggled a bit, wondering how that must have been for him. At least he'd know he wasn't insane now; that had been the whole point! Spreading her wings, she flew around to the front and into the dome; which was now PACKED with people. There was no way, even with some still coming in, could see be seen flying in.

Soon, the announer came on stage and presented the first band to be playing (after a long introduction, of course) As everyone's eyes focused on the band up front (which was the one with the demon in it), she flew up to one of the spotlight posts, and sat ontop of it. She was used to bright light; she was in heaven after all, and the lights here seemed dim compared towhat she knew. She could see perfectly from up here; she loved watching bands play.

".....very nice, in the top of it's shape. I'm surprised that it hasn't been broken or damaged in that fool's hands." the demon commented to himself, before closing the suitcase which held a few more identical arrows, and a bow crafted out of human bones. The arrows themselves were pitch black, with blackish-red liquid taht could be seen on the inside churning about.

"U-um, if I may ask, sir Sotan, w-what is the p-point of this mission?" the man asked nervously, twidling his thumbs faster than lighting. Sotan froze and shot him a glare of death and walked up to him.

"YOU DON'T K-Ooooooh, that's right; you haven't been clued in. My apologizes." the demon's rage suddenly softened at this realization; the man had only been told to bring the arrows and no more. The sound of steel boots paced back and forth as the man still held the arrow. "Well, I'm in a pleasant-like mood today, so I suppose I'll quickly fill you in on the details.

Now, as you know, demons and angels have been at unofficial war with each other for centuries, humans being caught straight in the middle of it. What WE plan to do, is since the war has sort of softened, is to bring it back up a notch, by killing off one of our only threats: The Gifted humans.
The ones that can see us all (yes that includes you, but you're on our side, so you are still safe; no need to wet yourself) are the ones that can fight back. By taking out hte most powerful ones first before the other God can guess our plans, that gives us the advantage.

Now, there will be two of our greatest threats at the festival today; the old bag that's STILL alive is our greatest threat, since he's one of hte few priests who God can take powers to. The other greatest threat we have......is a young boy who is in the competition. He's as clueless as a infant, except for that time several years ago when he saw his guardian angel before he was supposed to. He was thought at first mad, and it's on the record for temporary stress. After all, the punk nearly got hit by an 18 wheeler.

Our downside is that this angel is at the festival no doubt, watching over him; as naiive as they come, fortunately. She knows as much about Earth as a snail. But we gotta be prepared for backup on their side. That's why there are many arrows; two for any angels in charge, and two for the fools, and the rest for any unexpected ones. The arrows kill humans, and strand the angels on Earth; our greatest and latest invention of all time. Not even the one above has yet to figure out how to strand non-humans on this planet; but the fall will most likely kill angels, unless the fool bursts in one us. His powers are to be feared........"

the demon clenched his fist, then turned to look at the man. "Stop staring! I've told you more than you need to know, for your safety as well as for witness in case something goes wrong. Now, head back to teh festival; you're gonna get a great show." the demon smirked. he sat the arrow in the suitcase, picked it up, and flashed a peace sign before vanishing for teleportation, a evil smirk hiding behind the mask.

Priest Charles and the angel came in right before the show started, and he took place in a empty seat left near the front. After waving at a few people, the show began with the first band. "Ohohohoho, I do enjoy this loud energetic music; does the world good to see such talented people!" he said aloud. A few behind him nodded in agreement, but stared in wonder on how his ears werent' in pain with the loud speakers near him; it was why the seat was empty to begin with. But hte man could hear just fine!

((Oooh...plot twists are fun! x3 I'll wait for Zack's band to go until after Run While You Can posts...I already claimed last performance for Zack anyway. =P ))

Tristan stood up and walked to where the others were, leaving Zack with his thoughts. It was a big day, and it was about to get bigger. Zack stood up and took a deep breath, hardly being able to listen to the man giving the introductions. Being last in anything sucks...Haunted houses, speeches, amusement park rides, the like. Though, no matter how much he tried to think about it, being last today was the worst. He didn't know why it was today that made him so nervous. He had performed in front of these people hundreds of times!

Jay walked up to him. "Hey, those people who were with us earlier are performing," he said. "Wanna watch? That cute girl is singing."

"If you don't mind, I'd rather hang out here a little longer," Zack said. "I'm a little nervous."

Jay nodded, and walked off with the others, going to watch the other band from the side.

Zack figured, while he watched the others, that he was being silly. He's done this a million times! Why should now be any different?! He was about to join his buddies when a woman bumped into him. They exhanged "Excuse me", but she added something in his ear.

Good luck? Wait a minute...

Zack watched her quickly leave the area, going outside. He followed as quickly as he could, but there were too many people in his way, and by the time he managed to make it outside into the pouring rain, she was gone. So it was her that he'd been glimpsing and feeling today! She made an appearance to him, and wished him luck.

Something inside him escaped, and he suddenly felt better, like how he felt when he first saw her when he was five. He walked inside, and was nearly mauled by Sarah.

"What were you doing outside? You're soaking wet!" She tried to wipe off some water from his shoulders. "We're about to go on at any time, and you disappear like that? You're not having second thoughts, are you?"

Zack smiled. "Hell no! We're going to win this thing." He threw his arm around her shoulders, and they walked back to where the others were waiting. He commenced laughing and joking with them, waiting for their turn to go on.

Walking back stage, Strake's band saw people running around wildly and also saw some of the competing bands, sitting around stupidly, having nothing to do but talk. Strake then noticed Zack's band and walked over.

"Hey, how'd you like us? I saw you guys watching." Strake said smiling, he was hiding how he felt when a powerful aura struck him, at first he thought it was Satin, but then he remembered that Satin was trapped in a different demension. He couldn't have escaped, I'm sure of it, it's impossible to escape the demension. Strake thought. I'm so glad that...sent him to that demension, in his absense the demon's couldn't get a new leader, and they were severely weakened from so many demons vanquishing eachother out of existance. When I was exiled the underworld was utter chaos, I wonder if anyone finally took control.

"I bet that song would have been better if Strake had sung it, my voice is too high and shakey." Katie said wishing that Strake wouldn't have made her sing, and not told her about it.

"You sung it well, high voice was good for that song, and that shakey thing is called vibrato." Strake said, his voice couldn't get much higher than the A string of his violin. He felt really limited because of it.

((Oh no.))

((Can you carry on without me, Numbah? Or control Lily and Chris? I wouldn't mind a bit.))

((Sorry for the long gap everyone[The amount of times I've said sorry in the last half hour is phenominal]. I blacked out a little while back and I've been in hospital. Not really very fun >.<))

((I'm so sorry if anyone's been waiting for me, or will be waiting for me... I probably won't be able to post for a good while. With any luck I won't get thrown headfirst out of all my RP's!))

Amadeus stood behind the old man as he sat down to watch the performances. Arms held behind his back, Amadeus looked up at the stage and watched as stagemen were prepping it for the various bands who would be playing. He stretched his wings for a moment, fold them tightly against his back once more, and waited for the music to start flowing. It had been quite some time since Amadeus had heard the lovely, lilting sound of music, and he was actually looking forward to this "Battle of the Bands".

... it was unfortunate that Amadeus didn't realize that Rock was all the rage these days. Maybe it was because he sensed a dim aura around one of the artists in the first band (and not a good one), or maybe it was because he had been expecting gentle, classical-esque music, but Amadeus visibly cringed when the music started blaring. He was amazed that the priest's ears weren't bleeding... Amadeus was certain his would be if he was human. However, as time slowly passed, and as Amadeus heard more of the loud, heavy music, he began to get used to it, and even started enjoying it.

"This music is... different to what I'm used to. Although I can see how humans take enjoyment in listening to it. Especially if the song is well, written, the flow of the lyrics and the music... meshes."

Shortly thereafter, he noticed a strong aura overhead. A strong good aura. He looked up and lo and behold... there was an angel flying. Even from this distance, he could tell she was very young. VERY young. Amadeus wasn't sure if she had been down here for a long time, or if He had sent her recently for the event. The latter didn't seem to make sense, as Amadeus was fairly certain God wouldn't send such a young and (what Amadeus imagined would be) inexperienced angel to help oversee the event. Whatever the case, Amadeus decided not to investigate just yet (his temorary charge right now was the priest), but he made a mental note to keep tabs on her, as well as that one band player who gave him mildly bad vibes.

((Ok then; I'll go ahead and act as both Chris and Lily for now, since the rest of you have your hands full as it is. That way we can keep moving along and not get TOO behind; I dont' plan on rushing this. xd ))

Lily decided to finally, yet slowly, make her way towards the battle of the bands in the center. She had changed into a beautiful red and yellow celebration dress, which was long and modest yet at the same time quite flattering, and she wore a red flower in her hair, something she did very often. She carried a shoulder bag with her, which contained her notebook as well as various pens and pencils, and her phone. She'd clean the room later, and after some thought she thought she might as well TRY and enjoy the festival; it's only once a year, after all.

As she went through town, for awhile all her troubles were long forgotten, for it was such an uplifting place: all the people acting cheerfully, the music and old tunes that went with the holiday, the decorations.......it was very uplifting, and by the time she arrived in teh crowds at the BotB, she debated even going back there. After all, wouldn't it be AWFUL for her brother's band not to have their music? It'd be no more than he deserved, after all.

But yet......how good would that make HER look? It'd make her as bad as her brother.

She sighed; she'd have no choice but to go back there. Heading through the back door and flashing her VIP pass (as well as getting soaked, for then it started to rain), she was allowed in the back and saw his band in the corner of the large room. "Hey guys!" she called in a attempt of cheerfullness with a wave; after all, the rest of his friends were very nice people, so why take out her anger on them? They greeted her in return. "Sup, Lily? We were worried you had gone and catch a cold on us." one of them said as she came up.

"Oh no, I just took my time getting here; of course, now I'm soaked due to the rain, so a cold is possible now." she chuckled.

Upon hearing a familar voice, Chris's head snapped up immediately, and his head turn toward his younger sister. "Ah, Lily, THERE you are! Let's head over here; I wanna make sure it's all there." Chris said, pretending to act as if they were the best of friends. After all, why take down the wall of illusion from his band buddies? As they went to the otehr side of the large room, he suddenly pinned her against the wall by her shoulders, no crowd to help her.

"Where WERE you?! Don't you realize that we're up in TEN MINUTES! Do you SERIOUSLY believe that we'll have enough time to run through it and have it down pat?!" he asked in a hiss.

This was full blown routine for Lily every time she had to go to one of these band things. But suddenly out of character, Lily merely looked up at him and cocked her head to the side. The day had suddenly inspired her for some reason to fight back, for once. "Well, it's not my fault if you don't know YOUR OWN MUSIC well enough, for such an important concert-Ooooh, that's riiight, the music IS NOT YOURS, is it?!" the girl retorted coldly. Unfortunately, this resulted in a slap in the face, and he quickly dug into her bag and grabbed the package tied with rubber bands.

While he did this, Chris's face had flushed a deep red; she did have quite a point, but it was far too loud, that voice of hers. Strange, she was usualy very quiet and cooperative; what had happened in one morning? Day of angels? HAHA, yeah right; more like the day he finally gets his profit and fame. "Don't you EVER speak to me like that again, or I just might throw your precious bag out into the rain." he muttered coldy and half-heartly, thrusting it back into her arms and walking off, going back to his buddies and pratcing her work.

Normally this was when she'd cry, but to her surprise, her brother had done no more than carry an empty threat and a pathtic slap. Strange, his mind was on many things, and for once she had actually done some damage. Smiling, she merely hid in the shadows as she watched them practice; at least they did her song some justice.

Suddenly, the last band had finished and his band had been called to the stage, and she moved closer to backstage to watch in interest
.

The Whiskeycats then took to the stage, where bits and parts of the crowd began to cheer; their songs had gotten a bit of reputation before starting, and therefore was a bit ahead of some of hte other bands here. "HELLO, CITY OF ALPHALINE! ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?!" Chris shouted out, with guitar in hand, which went with more cheering.

"Alright folks, today we'll play a song that does in fact pretain to this glorious holiday. Let's hear it for "Reason"!"

As the song began to play, something about the guitar boy in this band stirred something unplesant within Melody, even though everyone else seemed to love this guy. Something about him seemed.....phony. Yeah, that's the word. She had heard about him, and his acclaimed composing skills. But yet, why did these songs sound slightly feminine? It was hard to notice unless you weren't human, or if you were Gifted.

The priest eyed the boy with curiousity; he looked familiar, but yet it was not one he was looking for. The aged one burrowed his eyebrows in thought for a moment. "Hm, I was supposed to tell you something today, Amadeus, but it's slipped my mind. My apologies; I'll remember later. In the meantime, does something about the guitar one seem odd to you?" he asked in Speech, wodering how strong his angel powers were. A test, if you will.

As their song came to an end, applause followed the group as they went off the stage, cheering each other on about how well it went. Chris walked right past Lily without acknowledging her, but the same band member that had talked to her before went back and high-fived with her, before running to catch up with the group.

Lily smiled; they played it so well...

Strake ran over to Lily rather absently, without waiting for a response. "Hey, I heard you and your brother talking, and I can tell he's a thief, I meen come on, he used the same lines I did to get the crowd going, it's not that hard to come up with something, I guess he's just uncreative huh?" Strake had developed a hatred very quickly to Lily's brother.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was working with demon's, he sure as hell acts like it. All his traits match those of a follower, supidity, uncreative, can't figure things out for himself...I hope he follow's demon's, it's been a long time since I've killed, and I need to kill...I'm starting to feel savage...too long without blood...Ughh...fight it Strake, you must fight it! Strake thought to himself, his eyes were wincing constantly, but they could not be see very well behind his hair, he was unsure if Lily could see them, but he tried to remain calm, if he were to run outside again, his band would worry too much.

"Hey Strake, I'm gonna go, I've got to give my brother some history lessons, because he's failing, and I'm all he's got, call me tonight and tell me how the last band was, and also give them my apologies for not staying." Michelle came up to Strake and said in a rush.

Strake waved his hand without turning around, motioning her to go ahead and leave, his thoughts were clouded, and he really couldn't talk. Strake felt like if he were to open up his mouth, he would jump at a human, and bite them to suck out there blood. His identity would be exposed, and he could see three angels in the place, and felt he would be quickly seen, and god would easily help them, or the angels wouldn't be here.

The group looked at Strake and his bandmates as they approached. Jay laughed, and threw his arm around Strake's shoulder. "I think he's right," he said, talking to Katie. "There's no other angelic voice in the world that could've sung that song the way you did." He winked at her.

Sarah sighed, and smiled at Strake, ignoring Jay's comment. "You guys were very good."

"Yeah," Kevin chimed in, "those drums were amazing." He wasn't the drummer, but he still played the drums, and he could pinpoint talent. "Much better than what Trist would've done."

Tristan rolled his eyes and folded his arms on his chest, murmuring a comment about how he's the drummer and not Kevin.

Zack sighed as the band before theirs went on stage. "I guess we could watch this band, too. Scope out more competition before we go on." He started feeling a little uneasy, hearing that pretty much every band has played something that showed gratitude to angels. The song they were going to sing wasn't really so thankful. 'Evil Angel'? Even the title sounded a little satanic. Well, let the people think what they want.

The band before theirs finished, and, once again, Zack felt a little out of place. This was another amature band who's probably done this more times than his band. Someone had called out that his band had five minutes to get their gear on stage.

The group took a heavy breath simultaneously, and bid Strake and his buddies farewell. Jay picked up Katie's hands and looked into her eyes. "Wish us luck, beautiful one," he said in an airy voice. He didn't have time to stay and wait for an answer, or a reaction...Sarah grabbed him by his ear and dragged him towards the stage, followed by Tristan, Kevin, and Zack.

As the others set up their insturments, Zack scammed the crowd. He saw Priest Charles in the front row, looking as skeptical as ever. Zack didn't realize that it was for the band before them, and thought that maybe playing a song named 'Evil Angel' wasn't such a good idea anymore. The man standing behind the priest wasn't any help to calm his nerves either.

Oh well, it was finally judgement hour, and his band was going to give it their all, so he would, too.

He gave the others a few more minutes before he addressed the crowd.

"What a rainy day this turned out be, eh?" Zack said on the microphone, getting the crowd's attention. "Perfect weather to be inside and listen to so many good bands preceding the last performance. So...once again...Alphaline...I ask you...Are you ready to rock?!" Pause for effect and reaction. "I said, 'ARE YOU READY?!' " Pause for more reaction. "Ok! We're the Koffin Kats, and we'll be playing 'Evil Angel'." Pause for murmers, and criticism...well, pause for whatever...

They began playing the first song, Zack waiting for his cue, and then breaking out into his singing, his voice a little strained, but after a few words he forgot about where they were, and just sang his heart out like every performance.

Nothing could break his spirit now.

((OK, Epic moment here people!
Time to get you all on your toes. xd ))

Lily noticed the boy come over; oh dear, had he been watching them?! But by the sound of it, it was on stage that he saw the phony-ness. She inwardly sighed with relief as she shrugged it off like she was accustomed to. “Eh, that doesn’t mean he isn’t nice. He’s hard to get along with, sure, but he has his good side.” she shrugged, and stood backstage as the last band began to perform.

If there had been any song criticism at the beginning, the moment they began to play, it had all washed away like a once stained shirt gone clean. There was a ton of screaming of joy, shouts, cheers, and a few boos from occasional people. Oh well, there were always a few sticklers in every crowd, right?

These thoughts were Melody's, who was now leaning over on the light post, looking with interest and excitement. Ok, so they're song wasn't one of glory to above, but hey, they were actually doing something different. And that was one of the things (other than talent, of course), that was getting the crowd riled up. After all, the praises get old after awhile, especially forced ones.

When one thought about it, there were probably times when every other human felt like this. Poor Zack………….she must have done the same thing to him. If it wasn’t for her saving him, he wouldn’t had told his family, thus making them think him mad, and he might still be in the house, who knows? She reached out a hand in his direction, as if reaching for him; she wanted so badly to help him. He was in a tight fix, but forced to hide his feelings and fears. And it was her fault to begin with….but at least he was happy, she could see it. Music was his passion.

Going now with the rest of the crowd, the Priest was now up out of his seat and actually dancing about like the fool he knew he was. “Well, at least they chose a different topic. After all, God probably deals with the same thing every single year; Ohohohohohoho!” the man chuckled while speaking in speech.

The trench-coated figure scanned the area, his normally steel-toed boots were actually silent amid the screaming of crowds. He pulled out binoculars (although only one demonic red eye was seen, but there was reason for this), but not just any normal pair; these were color-coded for the chosen ones that looked into it. Blue was for angel (he could see one near the front, and with-well, it’s the Priest, and he’s dancing. Haha. Ha. He‘ll look funny dancing while on fire….), red was for those like himself (he could see the bits of one backstage, but not enough to make count, and yellow for chosen. Ahhhhhhhh, so the singer was their target. Ah well, there’s an old saying back down below that the 80% of singers were pansies anyways. That, and 77% of statistics were made up on the spot. Yeah, Hell needed new entertainment, obviously.

In crowd cover to hide himself from the boy, the demon finally let his bloody demon wings soar as he went to the nearest light post, landing on it very gracefully. Crouching low, he opened the suitcase and loaded the arrows onto the bow, while head banging to the song that was playing. He had to admit, the punk and his band was pretty good. Props to them.

Melody suddenly began to realize something; something was very wrong, she could sense it but she didn’t know what. It was like being in a haunted house kind of feeling, where you know something bad is there, but everywhere you look, it’s not there. Now on her knees, she tried scanning the crowd below.

The arrow was now pointed at this Zack boy; ah, what a pleasant day it’s going to be! He pulled back the liquid-filled arrow slowly-

But wait……..

Pulling out the binoculars again, he looked about; he had just seen another figure near him. He turned to one with blue light, with a yellow tint. His guardian was here; He finally laid eyes on the light post, and as he put down the color mode, was surprised to see a beautiful angel looking about the crowds nervously, her long brown hair falling elegantly across one of her shoulders…….showing off another that had a scar on it.

It was her; that mark was from the truck that nearly hit her charge.

He grinned; oh goodie goodie, which one to take out first? Probably the girl; although it’ll be such a shame to kill off such a nice-looking creature. Not to mention that innocence seemed to swirl about her; wait, let’s go for the boy, to draw her out. He reloaded the bow and took aim at her head-

Fly over me, evil angel!

Upon these words at the middle of the song, she suddenly by some power looked to the direction of another light post, and her skin went as white as the dress; it was a demon, she could sense it. A high level one, who was aiming a bow……..right at her charge.

NO!

She immediately took flight, her wings spread as she then tackled her charge’s threat, a loose pole in her hand. This figure was cloaked from head to toe, other than his eye, so she could make no sense of who he was. “Leave him alone!” she cried at him, as he was knocked back no more than an inch. But this was her job; to keep Zack safe and this man distracted till Zack was off stage and out of range.

He grinned beneath his disguise as he took the hit, which was harder than she thought; God was on her side for a fact. But no one had dared to tackle him; this one was too bold for his tastes. Picking up his actual sword (high rankings were good!), he sliced her pole in half before grabbing her by the wrist, the sword point at her throat. She was now caught in his trap, but it had taken her longer than past angels. This one was very cunning indeed.

“Well well weeeeell, aren’t we a good little angel? This is the SECOND time you’ve saved him, isn’t it?” he asked her, running a hand along her slender shoulder. So soft…..

“H-how do you know that?” the girl retorted quietly, clutching onto her cross necklace. In truth, she was frightened to the bone. Demons were creatures from her worst nightmares. “Look, just leave him alone, alright? He’s done nothing to you!”
He could tell she was scared; good, she was honest in a way. “Let’s go with ‘a little birdie told me’. Now, do you really expect me to accept your request?” he asked her, his voice suddenly soft yet scary. Oh, toying with people was fun!
Her foot was slowly going higher and bent as she tried to bide time with an answer. “Well, seeing as you’re a demon, there’s no way in heck you’d actually say yes. But I figured it’s worth a try, eh?” she chuckled, despite being in a horrible situation.
True, true, can’t argue with that. But you’re forgetting one thing-I am Sotan, soon to be King of all Demons!”

as he went to slice, Melody went with a back flip, but her foot hitting him straight in the…….er, jewels. As he went down with a cry out of pain, she was let go of, and immediately went to dispose of the arrows. One by one she threw them into the sky with such a force that lost them in space. Well, with God’s help of course. In truth, she had not been aiming her foot, and what drove her to play dirty was still a mystery to her. But soon he’d have no weapon, and Zack would be safe.

It took a few moments for Sotan to regain his strength from the waist down, now fully p*ssed. How DARE she! HOW DARE SHE!!! By the time he got to her, there was only one arrow left, and it was in her hand, about to be thrown out of reach as well. Grabbing her by the throat, he pinned her to the ground of the light post, voice cold as could be, pulling out the arrow from her grasp.

“Funny; I thought angels played by the rules!” Sotan said, breathing heavily, still keeping her pinned as he looked down at her.
“Well, I gotta keep on my toes, don’t I, Sotan? Especially when playing with your kind.” she responded, but her voice now weak but did not dare break her gaze.
“Again, cannot argue; but you made a wrong move, kid.” And with that, he suddenly ripped off part of his costume, suddenly exposing the other eye. The power of this eye was sought at by all demons; temporarily paralysis to those who see it. The girl tried to move, but felt as if she were in chains, nad was now limp as a rag doll. Picking her up by the neck as he reloaded the arrow with a free hand, Sotan spoke again. “Well, I can’t let you nor your charge live, nor the fool of a priest, you see. It works out in the end; your charge ends his miserable life, you get to die for your charge, and I get to make history. Of course, it’ll look like a kamikaze, but what does it matter?” he said evilly as he threw her out into the center of the area, and picked up the bow while she was still in the air, her wings curling about her.

“So long, you persistent angel; where is your God now?
DIE FOR YOUR CAUSE, YOU FOOL!

As he shot his one arrow, one final thought ran through her mind before the storm, as the song came to an end.
Please God, just keep Zack safe……….I don’t care what happens to me…

WHACK…………………………….BOOOOOOOM!!!!

As she was hit in the side (and followed by screams from both her and the audience), her body soon hurled straight onto the stage in a yellow light, causing an explosion that knocked out the entire stage, but injuring not one soul. She landed straight into Zack’s arms, throwing them both back to the center of the back of stage, fulfilling the picture that was once predicted. The instruments were either destroyed or flew offstage and dust filled the entire backstage, swirling about like a tornado, but not harmful except to breathe in when going really fast. The doors were locked, so people went about in circles screaming, either by something of aliens or of a meteor. A single tear fell down the little angel’s cheek, the liquid now pumped into her system and blood starting to stain the dress from the arrow sticking out of her side.

“Had enough yet, Sotan? Man, how am I gonna clean up this mess for you?” A voice said, suddenly on the light post with the demon.
The demon turned, and to his surprise, saw the priest, suit and all. “Well, Priest Charles, what makes you bold enough to come up here by yourself?” he asked, unaware of the other angel at the moment.

“Well, just to say this- you’ve been jipped, old friend.”
“What makes you say that?”
“Look at this liquid closely.” he said, dragging his finger into a bit of the old liquid that was left behind from a damaged leaking arrow. He messed with it between his fingers. “Notice I’m not dead? And little angel down there will wake up shortly.” he said, with a smile and a “Ohohoho!” chuckle.

Upon this realization, it hit him; that moron of a human…….GOT THE WRONG ARROWS!!! These weren’t poison arrows, they were…………mystery arrows. They had powers of doing a strange to the angel and human alike, and it wasn’t death.

It was stranding powers, the one kind never to have been solved.

He had no words to say, and his now covered up eye only left one eye to show in horror. He had failed, but not on his own fault. He took out his sword and headed straight for the Priest. “Don’t act so cocky to ME!”

"I've got to go outside...I'm not feeling well."Strake said walking away from Lily's group. What's going on, I feel that powerful demon aura again...I'll kill him, and drink his blood, 20 years of exile is just too long to be hiding, I'll become a demon again if I need too, I just need to change first, as to hide my identity, incase demon's and angels are found today by those humans. I feel that beautiful angel's aura dangerously close to that demon, I may have to save an angel this day, of course saving her is rather ironic. A guardian angel being saved, by a demon too, hilarious...what just happend, I just felt her aura move and fall down onto the stage? I feel something new next to it, two somethings, really close. Looks like it's time to change. Strake thought as he changed into a black round-brim hat, a red scarf, and some black clothing tight to his body. He also had a sword with him. Good thing I brought this bag with me.

Strake jumped up and spread his wings, not caring about what angels might see him. His wings were long and dark black, his eyes turned a blood red, and his skin became a cooling magma color, black with red outlining. He flew up behind the demon Sotan, and saw the old priest and his guardian angel(or atleast as far a Strake could tell).

"Is that you Sotan, it's been twenty years, what have you been up to? Nothing good I suppose, you remember don't you? I'm the guy who sent Satin into a different demension, of course you know that, after all you were the one who told every single demon that I did so, and you are the reason for my exile. I hope you know I can still send you to the same fate as Satin, since you've always wanted to take his place, but that's too good for you, you deserve to suffer, torn in between demensions, and not be able to die, like Satin had, immortalitity is both a gift and a curse." Strake said from behind Sotan, he recognized him as the demon who was the cause of his exile. Strake was somewhat bitter over his exile, and wanted revenge. Strake also had an overwhelming desire to shed blood. His left arm had turned black and the fingers became longer and sharp. A sharp axe like thing came out of his shoulder, with a red circle in the middle. He wore a red pendant made of an odd stone he had taken from Satin. Sparky was sitting on Strake's head.

Meanwhile Josh and Katie were backstage talking to Lily when the wind began to twist and turn harshly like stomach about that's about to excrete the contents out from the mouth. "What the hell is going on? How is there so much wind in here, I think we should get outside before things start falling." Josh said as he began to run out the building, followed by Katie. As they left things were falling from the cieling, small pieces wood fell, and even a large chunk of metal fell and some larger pieces of wood.

As he was about to strike the undefending priest, (for the paralysis eye had struck the priest and although not passing out, stilll froze him momentarly) , Sotan's lips curled into a wicked smile underneath the black painted mask. Turning towards the figure, the black spect placed back on his mask by magic, he walked towards the other demon, keeping his face and rest of his body hidden except for that red demonic eye, whirlling about.

"Ah, if it isn't the infamous Strake! Goodness, has it been 20 years already? Wow, time sure flies when one is a busy bee! Well, for ME, anyway." the demon shrugged, before becoming serious and turning towards him.

"Satin was weak; how the heavens he was able to become one of the few chosen to have a name so close to the King himself is beyond me. He was the weak link, and always will be. If you really think I'll be as easy to put down as Satin, then you'd better think again, and fast! " he said, and suddenly, snatching the bird from atop the boy's head before he could even blink twice. Holding onto the bird tight and slightly crushing it in his palm, Sotan's hidden smirk appeared again before he continued.

"For you see, I have been able to do what no demon other tahn the King has done as of yet; use the weakness of one against them fully and without fail. For examle, you, could go ahead right now and strike me as you see fit. But there's a problem now; you love this little bird of yours, and as long as you hold that sword or pose any threat to me, I"ll keep a'squeezing....oh look, it's crying now. Must be in pain; poor widdle birdy don't like curshing lungs." he chuckled, as the truth was told, for it actually was crying.

"Here it is in pure English; drop your weapons and get the hell away from me or this one's head will be on your head faster than you cansay 'Melloyellow'. After all, I know you don't want this one dead, and that, my friend, is weakness." he said, as he awaited a move from Strake.

"So you have my bird, but there's something you don't know about him, and that is-" Strake stopped in the middle of his sentence to grab Sotan's hand and rip it open to free the bird, his hand was completely electric to send a shock out to Sotan. "-I can't hurt this bird, you've never been tied to an animal have you? You both have to die simultaniously in order to die, pain isn't transferred, that bird could be completely crushed, and I wouldn't be harmed, and it wouldn't be dead, just flattened, and in severe pain. It's a form of immortality that can be ended, but Sparky has to leave." Strake said smiling at Sotan waiting for his shock to occur(his shock has a delay). Sparky flew straight into the ground, and then he dissapeared.

"Have you ever stopped to wonder what was in Satin's pendant, well I'm wearing, and I know. It was the power to rule all demons...err...almost all, I was an exception, the only exception, because I was his son. I bet you didn't know that he had actually had children did you? He actually never commited a single sin, he was just a tempter. He had never commited adultery, atleast not when he was in this demension. That meens he was married, to the temptress of course. I'm there only son, but nobody ever checked my files while you guys were deleting them, only leaving enough information for you guys to identify me. I have one question though, are you trying to become the new ruler? If you think you can do that without this pendant, you are sadly mistaken, but careful, it is very fragile." Strake smiled looking at Sotan, examining him for a weakspot, there anatomy was very similiar so it was easy to find an open spot.

Strake took a quick step back then lunged his arm(the shocky black one) forward to grab his side and then Strake slashed, almost simultaneously, well at his speed almost anything was simultaneous, this move had left his arms crossed, and his stance was for attack. His body was perpendicular with Sotan's. Strake was looking directly at Sotan, his Petrifying eye had no effect.
