"Persistent aren't you? Fine." Akuma stared at the flame for a moment then closed his eyes. He felt the magical energy twisting around her hand to create the flame and sensed it disappear as the fire reached it's maximum height. He counted seconds off in his head as he felt the changes from the lowest point to the peak of the longest tendril. He gave each place a five second count before opening his eyes. "The lowest point of the flame has exactly 98 wavelengths and the heighest tendril can reach to 185 wavelengths. The most common wavelengths are between 130 and 145. If I gave the entire flame a single grade it would be 153."

"I know. Now is there anything else you want?"

Araxis grinned pretty much silent until now,"Tell me how many wavelengths this has, if you can," Araxis closed her eyes and called forth the darkest reaches inside her soul possible without chancing hurting anyway, and opened her now black eyes. She didn't see anyone around her but writhing shadows struggling to break loose. She waved her hand and she saw the two people standing there, as well as the shadows. She was seeing the in between, and she let the shadows go a little bit more. The atmosphere became cold, and anyone around her would feel immense pressure on their person. She herself felt nothing.

Araxis turned towards Oakley and let the darkness engulf them both. Oakley would be safe but she wasn't quite sure about this stranger that was supposedly measuring her strength.

Araxis felt the heat and decided it was time to turn it up a notch as well and she once again fused the darkness with the fire, making each element stronger than before. The poor stranger better back up or he might instantly get fried with the fires of hell.

Akuma's body turned brown with the intensifying heat. He wasn't doing anything intentionally, but his power was protecting him naturally without him even knowing it. He was focusing on the darker power and was about to give an answer when the fire began to mix as well. The twisted warped energy began to fill the hall and Akuma's power shifted again to make his now brown skin appear to shift and move like surface water. He focused again on the new surge and came to an answer rather quickly.
"The combining high level spells are giving you two a steady wavelength of 1454. You need to stop before the staff appears trouble happens though."

"You had 823. There was an overall boost when powers were combined too."

"Earth. I'd rather have a combination of multiple types though."
