Well I watched a wee bit of an episode then bought the game... Ed reminds me of myself and I instantly became a fan... also I had been studying the whole alchemy thing for some time ... I also own the 1st manga book

Some jerk at school called me chibi-san and a microscopic bean. So I over reacted and told me that I reminded them of Edward Elric from FMA and then told me to watch.

Saw I think it was the third episode "Mother." and it made me sad and I alost cried so I stoped watching it but then I saw a picture os the smexi Ed and I started to watch it. Now I love it. 3nodding

My boyfriend watched the show and since we like similar animes he had me watch it and then I was hooked... sweatdrop heart

Well i was on the phone with my boyfriend until 11:30 one night and he told me to watch FMA and so I did and I liked it!!!! The 1st eppie I ever saw was "House of the Waiting Family" I thought it was cool and thats how I became a fan of FMA!!!!

I'll be honest, by accident, and that was one of the best accidents I've ever made! I was falling asleep on the couch when FMA came on, I woke up cuz my anime censors were tingeling (I know I stile that from Spiderman, I use to whatch it till I discovered anime) and I just started whatcing and since then, I go insane for it whee ! I've already seen all the episodes in Japanese and I'm finising up in English. I'm also trying to get the Spanish episodes , but I haven't been to Mexico in months. Yay for anime! ninja

I found out about it the way most people seem to: I was staying up to watch InuYasha. It was, oh, the fall of last year, when FMA came on before InuYasha. I was listening to music and moving around, when I got creeped out 'cause the lights were off and I hoped on the couch and turned off the music (I was at my mom's house, and I used to sleep on the couch until she got the bigger apartment). I turned on the TV even though it was before IY. Futurama had just went off and FMA came on (epi 5, "The Man With The Mechanical Arm"). I started watching it, and I got really into it. I thought about it a lot, but I didn't think any of my friends watched it, so I couldn't ask them (they tell me everything about anime, it's cause of Tairee I even like anime).
A few days later at school (lunch, to be specific), Miggrator asked me something about if I had ever seen the show that comes on before IY (can't remember the exact words) and I say, "Yah. Wasn't it something about full metal something?"
So she gets all excited and tells me it's Fullmetal Alchemist, the main characters, why Al is in a suit of armor (which confused me at first, like it does most people), and all the other stuff she learned on her internet excursions. The next Saturday I watch it again, and I'm hooked!
Not sure how I became an Edo fangirl, but anyways... sweatdrop that was a long story...

I've been into anime for about seven years so every so often there will always be a new anime I'll get into. I had gotten my boyfriend into acouple different animes but he was the one who got me to watch Full Metal Alchemist, I've been hooked ever since that day heart

i was up late doing hw, then the very 1st ep of fma shown on adult swim started...i thought the drawing style looked pretty good and the music was really nice....so i watched it, then decided it was awesome after i saw ed did some insane fighting moves and crazy alchemy stuff xd

Saw a preveiw for it and went "That looks awsome can't wait to see it!!!" waited till next month watched the first episode and was blown away it was so cool!!!!!

Well,first I saw episode 21 (I think it was anyway),and I thought it was a really weird show....Then I saw the next few episodes and I liked it..
But I still didn't see it from the beginning. Well,I think it was around May or so when Adult Swim started showing it on weeknights from the beginning. Then that's when I officially got into FMA.
