Emblem nodded to Sforkok, and he turned to look at Khala. The little dragon lowered hinself down on the warm ground next to the egg. {I'll protect you for as long as it takes, little sister, or brother. None of the others in here would hurt you, but there's others, and I want to ensure that you'll live. Please, come out soon...} He closed his emerald eyes again, then set his head on his paws. {I'll be waiting here until you hatch, even if it takes forever.}

{All right, children, give the remaining eggs some space. You don't want to scare them, and they should have an opportunity to see a world without a mountain of dragon faces in the way.} Old Silverback growls. {Khala, you may stay with that egg to keep it from rolling away unaware of what it's doing.}

Emblem looked back at his two unhatched siblings, a bit of worry showing in his young eyes. {They will come out, right?} he asked, a bit of a bleak undertone to his voice. {I don't want them to never come out.}

Freckles shakes her head. {You all worry too much! If Old Silverback says they'll hatch, then they will. Some are just a bit slower than others. Come, little ones, come eat some more of this delicious meat while we wait.} She rips off a hunk of meat and chews it, finally having a bit for herself. {Oh so very juicy...}

{Go on guys, do as Freckles says. Grandfather and I can take care of these eggs. You don't want to starve, do you? Certainly not on your first day of life!} Khala smiles and settles down even more securely around the egg. {I'll keep watch and make sure the egg hatches, don't you worry.}

Emblem desolately nibbled on his small pile of meat, but he no longer had an appetite. All he wanted was to see his two new siblings come out into this bright, shining world. Please come out soon... The little dragon looked over at his wine-colored brother happily tearing into his food. {I'm Emblem. You're my 'brother', aren't you? What's your name?}

Sated, Cart curled up next to his deer. {Let's sleep,} he suggested. {The eggs will hatch when they're ready. No use worrying over river currents.}

Khala watches contentedly as the others settle down to focus on eating or napping.
(OoC: Actually, Suggie started RPing the hatching, and Pterosaur has said she will when she gets a moment free. Be patient, and PLEASE STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE UNHATCHED EGGS. THE OWNERS HAVE INDICATED THEY WILL DO SO WHEN THEY HAVE A MOMENT FREE, SO STOP PANICKING RIGHT NOW!!! Those of you who have baby dragons should feel free to start exploring the cave. I remember Cart, Khala, and Freckles did. ^^)

Khala looks around the cave. The hatchlings are distracted by food and look rather sleepy. She longs to explore the cave.
(OoC: Ummm...do you want to create one and post after some consultation with kit, or do you want to just wing it? We haven't got a map, and we didn't have a map for the last cave until after the stuff in the cave was over.)

Emblem sighed and stood up after finishing his meat, walking over to one end of the cave where an odd mushroom had caught his eye. {What's this thing? It's kinda glowing...} he asked, turning to Cart. {Is it a...um...I dunno. What is it, Cart?}
