((Yeah, I wasn't sure if you wanted to play it or me! Okay!))
MacCloud was able to hit the thing in it's chest. It fell over but it was not out yet. It then swipped his claws at the male and hit his back. This hurt, but it didn't matter to him. MacCloud then jumped onto his back and bit into it's neck. This caused the monster to roar and fling MacCloud to the ground. The monster then limped off and left the two.
MacCloud ran, as fast as his wounded self could, over to Jenna. He nuzzled her head with his. "Jenna lass. Are you okay?"

((Aw, I like MacCloud. I need to talk to Sela and see what she wants for Jenna. She's rping with Izotz...but they are so different! XD))
Jenna opened her eyes slowly after being nuzzled by him. She stared at him for a moment, trying to remember what happened. Suddenly realization struck her and she gasped, trying to sit up. This hurt, so she laid back down.
"MacCloud! Are you ok? What happened?"

"Aye lass I am okay." He didn't tell her about his cuts or his hurt. It didn't really matter to him. Just if Jenna was okay. "I think I scared the beastie off. We should be okay now." At least his hoped. "How are you my dear?"
MacCloud stayed by her side though he scanned the room. He didnt' see eyes or anything like that however he did see the glowing flowers by the map. It was okay. He got up and walked over to it. The map had new writtings on it now that it was wet. He drug all about over to Jenna.

Jenna sighed in relief. She couldn't see through his composed expression to tell that he was really hurt, and it was too dark to see any of his cuts. She could see his eyes though and the part of his face that was closest to her. She touched his cheek with her paw, "I'm so glad you are ok. Thank you...for...saving me." She smiled up at him and then answered his question. "I'm ok..." She tried sitting up again...more slowly this time. She seemed to be ok. She watched as he scanned the room and then brought the map and flower over to where she was. She gazed at it, looking at the extra writing that was now there.

"Aye lass. You don't have to thank me. Of course I would save you." MacCloud smiled to her. He wouldn't let her get hurt if he could help it.
"I wonder what kind of treasure there is at the end of this?" Having beasts like that made him worry. Would it get worse before it got better? "Should we go back?" He would go on ahead even if he was hurt, but only if Jenna wanted to.

She smiled and hugged him. "Well I shall thank you anyway. You are very brave."
She was feeling better, she had only needed some time, and she was sure that she would be able to carry on now without any trouble.
"I don't know," she said, "but we have come to far to turn back now. We must find what treasure lies at the end. Don't you agree?"

MacCloud nodded. "Aye, lass I would like to see what is at the end." He then looked back to the map. The water caused new writing. "It says, 'The water reveals the path you must take. Follow the mouth behind the water curtain.' I guess we must find a cave behind the waterfall."

"Wow..." she breathed, after looking at the words. That sounded exciting. She smiled at him and squinted her eyes towards the water. She could hear the waterfall somewhere in the distance.
"Well, let's go find it then."

"Aye, ready for a swim?" MacCloud asked before diving in. He put the map once again in his mouth. Once in the water he could feel it in is wounds. It stung a little, but not enough to get him to stop.
MacCloud found himself in front of the waterfall. It looked like and slow, not the kind that would hurt if they went through it. Hopefully he was right or more that the map was.

"Mmhmm," she said, hoping she could hold her breath long enough. It didn't appear to be too far of a swim. She sucked in a big breath, and dove in after him. She still had her flower, which she held tightly in her mouth. It helped her to see where she was swimming. She stopped beside MacCloud and looked at the waterfall. Then she pushed herself behind it, not wanting to waste any of her breath.

MacCloud went through the waterfall as well. Once through he was able to find the cave and get out of the water. He took out the map and began to take in deep breaths. "Well, that was interesting." He said.
Inside the cave there was a tunnle. MacCloud's eyes could see a small amount of light coming from deep within the tunnel. The male then took out the map to see what it said.

Jenna waited for MacCloud and followed him through to the cave. She gasped for a breath of air as soon as she was out of the water. She nodded at him, agreeing about the interesting part. This whole adventure had been interesting.
She walked through the tunnel with him, using the light to peer at the map as he read it. "What's next, leader?" she asked him.

MacCloud looked from Jenna to the map. "Okay, I think we need to head down the tunnel to the light. Carefully." He saw the map had some odd drawings...almost like fire.
MacCloud started first in case there was something with the map in his mouth. As he did so he could hear a popping sound. Just after it stopped fire spurted out near his tail. "Aye, very carefully!" He called as he then began to run.

Jenna nodded and looked down the tunnel to the source of light. "Alright," she said and began to follow carefully after him. She two had seen the drawings on the map, however she was not prepared when a burst of fire shot out right in front of her. She screamed and jumped back in surprise. She ran behind MacCloud, trying to stay close to him, and hoping not to get hit by any fire. She watched the walls carefully, and kept her ears alert for any popping noises.
((This reminds me of The Princess Bride lol. With the fire XD))

((lol Yeah, that's where I got it! whee ))
MacCloud jumped from one spot as he head the popping and was able to miss a fire spout. Then he was able to make it to the light. All the running had made him tired with the wounds not helping. The male sat down once inside the 'safe' lighted area.
MacCloud took the map out again before looking around. The area was light by torches that were blue. Maybe that's why they hadn't gone out? They were magical or something? At least that's what MacCloud thought.
