Looking to Chali with a slight smile he poured himself a small glass of the same rum he had given her "I assure you that the rum is not for the teahouse part, we are also a restaurant now you see." His smle broadening he continued "And I assure you, we welcome all types here, worry not about your appearance. We are, after all, all here for our own reasons." He said looking to everyone around the room.

"So, anyone? Anything else you need?"

She turned around to take her drink, and smile at the bartender, all nonchalant and stuff. "No one's worried. Still, I didn't mean to come in here. Took a wrong turn somewhere. I just feel most comfortable at a bar is all; Smoking, drinking, gambling. This place seems relaxing- not my usual, but nice."

Zephyte Estranta, hmm? "Well, it certainly isn't a common name, but I wouldn't go so far as call it odd, necessarily..." she giggled. "Unless there's a reason you call it that."

Still, the new customers were intriguing, if only because of how they contrasted against each other. While Zephyte was taking their orders, she studied them, twisting in her seat to get a better look. A brief thought tried to straggle its way across her mind about how rude she might appear to be, but it didn't get far - this early in the morning (well, it's early to me, in any case), she couldn't be entirely bothered with things like that. And besides, new people always interested her; she just usually was able to hide that better.

(Bleh, still here and still alive, my brain's just not cooperating with RPing lately... Sorry about that... XD )

((I'm going to try to converse more frequently. Please pardon me if my posts are few and far between. BTB, I love the Armani man signature.))

She sipped her Earl Grey and declined food. She was glad to find someplace relatively safe to relax...

She was definitely here for her own reasons. Reasons no one needed to know about for the time being, she decided. As far as they were concerned, she was just another native breaking her routine to explore a different part of town.

Attempting to push her thoughts aside, she asked, "I'm relatively new here, would anyone know where I could find employment?"

"Believe me, I know the kinds of places you would be used to."

Hearing the other woman's inquiry about employment his eye gained yet another sparkle "Well, if your'e willing to work I'm willing to pay my dear. I'm not quite sure what all would need done around here, but, I am quite positive we could find something."

Looking around the room he turned, once again, to his original patron.

"And to my writer friend here, is there any way you could perhaps get the word out about this place?"

((Glad to see everyone returning! Hello all.))

**Random character note: I forgot to mention, every time he changes topics or people he's talking to, his accent changes slightly.**

(*grins* Yay for everyone being around again! Hi! XD Hmmmmmmmmm.... interesting with the accent, is it all the same accent that just gets heavier and lighter, or slightly different ones? ^_____^ )

Inwardly, she sighs, laughing. Juuuust when I almost figure out where he's from, it changes again. Interesting, though. "Hmm..." Lenore grinned and leaned against her chair-back, eyes half-closed while she thought that over. "That I can do. Do you have anything particular in mind? I have... contacts... all over the place, between printers, and publishers, and journalist friends, and various newspaper staff, a fair amount of whom still owe me wee lil' favours." She ticked off possibilities on her fingers. "Articles, assurances that an article will be printed, reviews, pamphlets, posters..." She looked down at her hand and laughed. "A full hand! Anyway, you name it, you'll have it, pretty much." She closed her eyes entirely in thought for a moment. "The assurance of being published is the most reliable, while pamphlets and posters have the possibilities of reaching the most people. Combined..."

She then hopped off her seat and paced around the room, gesturing here and there with her eyes lit up enthusiastically. "Of course, it all depends on who sees the things, and who can be bothered to show up - everyone should be 'bothered,' of course, since they'd then find it wouldn't be a bother at all, but try telling people that. Oh, no, they have to figure out for themselves, and those that can't be bothered to do that won't ever know what they're missing, so there! And, of course, you can't forget possibly picking a target audience, at least at first - reaching out to everyone is probably only slightly less than impossible at the moment. I mean, even limiting ourselves to the Anachronism... we have so many diverse groups. Scientists, scholars, engineers, airship pilots and crews (who may or may not be pirates, but that's a case-by-case debate), civilians, military, those in command... Actually, it might not be that impossible. Imagine, though, Lord Wotshisface and Lady Noname sitting there, or minor... French, for the sake of argument, nobility - out for a little evening flight in their personal zeppelins after hearing about a charming little restaurant on a floating city - enjoying a quiet night out right. here. Or the heads of the various guilds about the Anachronism discussing trade over in that corner! Or, a much wider range of people, gathered seemingly by chance - tables full of families, or couples, or groups of friends, scholars debating just what Dickens meant in his most recent novel, engineers working on the latest designs of something or another, anyone and everyone!"

Realising just how odd she must appear, Lenore blushed slightly and tried to calm down a little. "I guess the point is, getting the word out won't be a problem at all."

She blanched when she heard herself being grouped in with nobility. She needed to drop rank, fast. It would be too easy to find her, too easy. Downing the rest of her tea in one gulp, she tried to steady her hands. What if they'd already found her?

"Thank you kindly, sir," she said, "but I was hoping for news of an opening on an airship? Perhaps I should check the docks." She was proud of how normal and calm her voice managed to seem, though she was afraid that he had seen her moment of fear.

"Let's focus on the Anachronism and move from there. I'd truly like to welcome everybody here. That is, after all, the point of why I reopened this place."

Looking over to see the lady down her tea he tilted his head slightly.

"Could I speak to you for a moment madam? Privately." He said, motioning towards the kitchen.

((The accent changes vary from very subtle to very radical, I'll fill you guys in if it's a huge change. Right now it's subtly fading between a British and French-ish accent.))

Grinning, Lenore settles at a table and starts to rummage through her satchel for a notebook and pencil. "Of course, of course, but what cog would be best to start out with, unless it's more of a joint effort..." she trails off. Muttering every now and then to herself, she scribbles down names of people to talk to and things to do, barely noting anything going on around her for the time being.

(Lenore likes planning things. 3nodding *grins* And thankies for the accent note! XD )

((Of course, Zephytes a bit of an oddball these days. lol.))

"Let's start on this cog and move outwards. Seems like the easiest way to do things. I figure word of mouth will do us better than any piece of paper after a while." He told Lenore, taking his attention away from the white haired lady for a moment, though he still wanted to speak to her.

(Ah, but oddballs are fun, though! XD )

"True, true..." Lenore grinned, looking over her sheets of paper. "Well then, there's a start!" She gathered the sheets of paper up and organised them into some semblance of order, then stood up. "Hmmm... it's probably best to start on this right away. I'll be back in a short while, maybe an hour or so? But definitely word of mouth will be best in the long run!"

Laughing, she fixes her hat on her head and scurries towards the door. It's been a while since I've been involved in something like this. It'll be a fun change of pace!

The Professor, an elderly man with silver short hair, dressed a black frock coat and black plaid trousers, black dress shoes, a gray vest, a white dress shirt, a gray cravat, and a black cloak entered the shop looking around at all the things in it looking for a good cup of tea.

She tried to maintain her calm, polite facade as she replied, "Of course."

Had he found out? Was he one of them? Had he been notified of her state? All of the worst-case-scenarios that she could think of whirled through her head as she placed the tea cup back on the saucer and stood. He seemed nice enough, but if she had learned one lesson over the past month, it was never to let anyone too close. Never take them at face value, no matter how nice they seemed.

Turning to the professor Zephyte gave him a slight nod, "One moment sir, i shall return momentarily." He told him as he motioned for the girl to follow him into the kitchen. As he entered he walked far into the back so that they would not be heard by the other customers.

"Look, I don't know what you think, but..." she said, searching for the closest exit.
