Mayura saw how the girl started runing away from them, and then she went under water, "What the?" she stared for a moment when suddenly she heard a small hint of a song. "oh No" she satarded running towards the water diving to get the girl by the arm and pulling her up, she saw the mermaids that were singing, they had diferent aspect to the ones on her dimention but still it seemed they were as tricky as them.
She gasped for water pulling the girl so her head would get out of the water, still holding on to her arm and making her way quckly to the shore, since her chains were heavy enough.

"I wanna listen!" Perily thrashed, coughing up water. "Let me go!" She tried to pull away. The song was fading. "No!" she tried to listen, squeezing her eyes shut as if that would help her hear.

(( Nice name change. :D Sorry I was gone, homework. )) Jinx stood in a tranquil state. He was spacing out, really. " Hoo...um.." He shoved his hands in his pockets, rocking back and forth on his heels. " Oh. " He shook his head, looking around. " Where did that, uhm, that girl go? " He asked himself, scratching at his head. A deck of cards fell out of his hat, and almost fell to the ground before he caught it. " Oh, my soul. Always trying to escape me. Tell me, do you hate me? " He shook his head, and threw the cards in the air, watching them circle him. They wouldn't leave him if he willfully threw them, which was good. He looked at the path of slight destruction through some roses, and followed them with his eyes. " Two...? " He followed them, raising an eyebrow. He followed the trail with his hand rubbing his chin, like a detective. " Be back in a minute, Alice. I love you, drive safe, take care of the kids! " He called back, chuckling to himself.

SHe laughed slightly at what he had said. "I love you to!" She called after him. She turned her back away from them. Now that there gone I can try to Escape! Sure she was having fun with everyone but being trapped here was terrible. In her oppion that is..

Perily kept thrashing until the singing stopped completely. "No!" She squeaked. The music was gone! So heartbreakingly beautiful... She stopped thrashing, staring at the water.

"thats what they want!" she said as she finally was able to touch the shore.

Well since I don't have enough time to flee I guess I could always hide out in the near by corn feild. Her mind was made up she ran along side the woods soon ariving at the corn feild. No one will ever find me in here! She ran to the center of the corn feild. Or what she had thought to be the center and laid down. Not wanting to draw atteion by being as tall as she was.

Jinx watched the scene unfold in the water, not really planning on helping. He put his hand to his chin, and tilted his head to the side. Are those mermaids acting up again? He peered into the water. It was more of a glare, really. He looked at the cards, now in his hand, and considered blowing up the mermaids, just for acting up again. But, sighed, and put them away. " What a waste of life... " It was a shame that he had his soul in the cards. It was even more of a shame that they were so sought after, especially by the queen. " Always trying to kill me, aren't you? " He approached the pond, tossing the cards hand to hand. Kneeling, he looked into the pond, and put a hand in the water. Within seconds, a mermaid grabbed at him, trying to pull him in. " Gotcha. Try that again and I'll get rid of the lot of you. " He smiled a strangely sweet smile, and smacked the hand away. Rubbing his head, he muttered " What a terrible song... " and turned to Perily, and the newly found girl. " Who do we have here? No, no, WHY are you here? " He stared at them, not thinking about the current situation.

I cna already hear him thretning the mermaids again... Ugh what am I doing! Alice got back up and ran out of the corn feild. She fallowed to the soucre of music..Well the distant music from the past. She tapped Jinx on the shoulder. I have a better way to scare them. She smiled wickdly up at him, pulling out a small stero she placed in a CD of death metal... Most mermaids hate this stuff.

Mayura looked at the person standing next to them who had trapped a Mermaid, she looked at him confused not really understanding why he asked them why they were there.
"Well I was taking her out of the water...." she said as she stood up

"Hm never tried that before..." She smile dat the girl and pulled a mermaid out of the water by her tail. It thrashed widly at her before Alice dropped it back into the water.

Mayura looked at Alice surprised, the mermaids from these place didn´t seem as agresive as the ones she knew, perhaps it would be a good idea to go back and bring some more of her companions to scout the area.
"Well is time I go back..." she said as she started walking back.

“You can’t get out at all. Unless you’re really looking to escape, in which case you can slip by. But if you’re trying to slip by, then you’re stuck in the same place all over again.”
A melodic chuckle cut across Alice and Mayura’s conversation. Did that make sense? Maybe not. Or maybe it did? Frogs that coughed out chickens made sense to him, but a simple ribbot-ing frog? That just seemed twisted. And terribly wrong. It could have been the opposite way. He forgot what forest bark had whispered to him that one day about frogs and chickens and such. He would have to return to that part of the forest and find out again. After all, who could stand to go around without knowing the business of the frogs and their sudden belching of chickens?
Bushes rustled around his feet and in a carefully executed, yet clumsy looking swoop, a tallish man—no a boy, perhaps a man, kind of both—stumbled in between the two girls. A wicked smile was twisted onto his face, slitted golden cat’s eyes tracing his steps on the ground. Again he repeated his riddle of escape, a rhythm of not really’s that twisted and swirled like a good square should. Square;;; That was the one with the rounded edges and eternal shape? Yes, that sounded quite right to him.
Charlot Kingsley glanced between Alice and Mayura. “Oh, Alice. How do you do or do you not do in a very doing matter?” He grinned widely and took one of her hands, daintily kissing her slender finger tips before slumping away to the Hatter, his merry mate of madly mad proportions. “You didn’t tell me we had new guests. Or was it on the memo you gave me this morning? It crawled away before I could read it all.”
The call of the mermaids was a tantalizing tune behind him, calling him to swim. But cats hated water and his dear ears would scream novels if he even dunked a toe in. Tail swished between his legs, threatening just a little in a very cat-like way. No wait, a dog way because as he explained it when he was mad, he was a dog. Woof woof. A charming, lop-sided smile plastered his face, tiny jagged teeth poking out in an unhumanly way as he finally turned up from his feet and to the face of Jinx.

HEr cheeks turned a crimson red.. "H-hi Charlot..." She giggled slightly at his streched out sentance. "I do very well what I've been giving the task of doing."
