Miomoko's and Kian's eyes quickly adjusted to the dim lighting before the explosion. The already dim lights went out, and their eyes adjusted once more. Some water droplets fell from the Stalagmites.
One droplet landed perfectly square on Kians snout, and caused him to go cross eyes. He shook his head to get it off. He caught the few words taht came out of Ana's mouth and concluded that he was going to get to battle soon. He got excited, but repressed it all untill he knew for sure.
Miomoko looked at Ana, "The Voltorb?" She asked curiously, not seeing anything else around to catch at the moment.

Ana nodded in the darkness. "Yes, we need to lure it away from the Thunderstone first. If it detonated there who knows what might happen." Xatu could be heard opening its wings in the darkness. Both pairs of eyes glowed for a moment before the Pokemon suddenly vanished.

Mio was going to say something about Xatu dissapearing, but she was sure Ana knew Xatu had dissapeared. She looked at Kian, "Shall we?" Miomoko said with an unseeable smirk oh her face.
Kian also grew a smirk and jumped down off of Mio's shoulder. He was so light, that you could barely here him as he ran a little farther ahead to get closer to the Voltorb. Once he was close, he stopped an awaited Miomoko to give him some commands.
((I've never acctually battled before in this guild, so I'm not exactly sure whether you roleplay the pokemon, or if I just roleplay the battle in a post and capture it >< I tried looking around the guild for rules on battling but was unsucessful))

((Thats fine. For this battle feel free to play the Voltorb as well. Try to let this one go on a little longer since not everyone else is finished yet. Ana and Xatu will help but you will have to lead the attack for this battle.))

"Okay," Alice called after him, with a small wave, though she knew he couldn't see her.
She turned back to face the Magnemite, who was hovering over Skitty; its loud beeping and buzzing seemed almost mocking. This was evidently annoying Skitty, whose tail was lashing back and forth in displeasure. Truth be told, the noise was bothering Alice, too; she could hardly hear herself think...
She ran the options through her head. They had a bad matchup to their disadvantage. If Skitty used a physical attack, it would hardly affect Magnemite; and with Magnemite being made of hard metal, she'd just hurt herself like when she had jumped at it. Attract wouldn't work on it either, Magnemites were genderless or something like that... Sing? Maybe, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea here, and anyway Skitty could easily be interrupted... It was clear that this wasn't the ideal situation for them, far from it.

Miomoko thought and acted quickly, "Kian! Tackle the Voltorb!" She decided starting with a simple attack, it would give her a chance to see how the Voltorb reacted.
Kian ran towards the Voltorb. He was a little bit high up, so Kian thought fast, and sprinted towards a rock, which she used to jump on and off of to get a higher jump to reach the Voltorb. He curled his head in preparing to come in contact with the Voltorb. Kian landed on the ground slightly confused, he turned his head to look back up and see the Voltorb had dodged. The Voltorb was about to use a lightning attack, and Kian could hear Miomoko shout "Dodge it!" Just as the bolt of electricity was shot Kian did a quick jump to the right. He was already beginning to pant, but mostly because of the adrenaline rush.
Miomoko noticed that this Voltorb had a fairly quick reaction to attacks. She was going to have to be quick and smart in this battle.

((Don't give up. You still have some options. You could try Copycat. If things really get bad though you just have to stall until Ark takes care of the Magnazone.)) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- A bolt of Psychic energy hit Voltorb in the side knocking it away from the rock. The electric Pokemon spun wildly trying to find its attacker. Out of desperation it began to charge electrical energy hoping to protect itself.

(How did you know? That was what I was going to try. ^^)
Magnemite stopped her train of thought short with a high-pitched, deafening sound: a Sonicboom. Skitty wailed, the noise clearly getting to her more sensitive ears. Alice, hands firmly clamped over her own ears, decided to take a chance with Skitty's last technique. "Try Copycat!" she yelled over the noise.
In response, Skitty held herself very still, all her attention focused on the Magnemite. She gritted her teeth as the Sonicboom pained her ears. As the sound died down, however, Skitty made her move. She opened her mouth and let out the exact same sound, the air once again filled with the sound of the Sonicboom. Magnemite seemed to wince, somewhat dazed, and turned in circles looking for an escape from what had been its own attack. It found none, and eventually stopped spinning, buzzing angrily.
Alice finally removed her hands from her ears. That's more like it, she thought.

Miomoko's face changed as something else hit the Voltorb. She knew it was the Xatu, and knew that Ana was only helping, because it was her mission too. Mio had trouble sharing glory though. She concluded to worry about it after the battle, "Kian! Use Sand Attack!"
Kian watched the confused Voltorb try and build up more energy and understood why they were going to use Sand Attack. Instead of trying to steal the glory from the other trainer and her pokemon, Mio had decided to use them to her advantage. If Kian distracted the Voltorb again by throwing sand at it, it could lose it's concentration, concentrate on Kian, and have a lower accuracy. Kian kicked up some sand off of the tunnel ground up and at the Voltorb.
Miomoko smirked as her idea worked. The Voltorb was now focused on Kian, and preparing to attack him. Kian would be able to avoid the attack easily with the Voltorbs lack of accuracy. Now she just needed another attack from Xatu.

((OoC: Try to just pick up from where we left off. Things will get more organized once this mission is finished. Miomoko, Kain, Ana, and Xatu are in the underground cave trying to prevent a Voltorb from exploding and bringing down the cavern. Skitty and Alice are in one of the magnet train maintenance rooms. They need to hold out against Magnemite just a bit longer before Ark returns. Jack and Lucario should move to the inside of the train to take down the electrabuzz thats inside.))
"Cover your eyes, quickly!" shouted Ana as Xatu could be faintly seen swooping inbetween Eevee and the Voltrob. "Xatu, Flash!" Xatu's eye's glowed for a moment before a burst of light like 20 camera's flashing simultaneously filled the room save for Kain who was standing in Xatu's shadow. Voltorb spun wildly backwards before striking the wall dazed.

Miomoko quickly covered her eyes with her arms. Even with her eyes closed and her face buried in her arms, she could faintly see the light. She almost wish she could have seen it, just because of how amazing it must have been. "Yes." She stated quietly as she re-opened her eyes to see the voltorb almost weak enough to capture. "Kian! One last tackle!" She shouted.
Kian looked at Miomoko and nodded. He turned around and ran as fast as he could towards the voltorb. The Voltorb was so unsure of what was going on, that Kian thought for sure he was going to hit the Voltorb. Kian luckily directly ran straight into the Voltorb, which crashed the Voltorb back into the cave wall again. Kian ran back a bit after the attack towards Mio, he was panting heavily, but prepared to defend himself if needed.
The cave shook a bit, and some rubble fell from the ceiling. Miomoko looked up, and then towards the Voltorb. She concluded now would be a good time to pull out a pokeball and try and capture it. She reached into her pocket, and pushed the little button that enlarged the pokeball. Lifting her arm up above her head, she threw the ball towards the Voltorb. Both her and Kian watched at the Voltorb was sucked into the ball by a light beam, they could only hope that they would successfully capture a new pokemon.

The Pokeball spun on the floor as if the Voltorb had only been shrunk down. It rolled along the floor and fell into the pond. The Pokeball finally came to the stop about an inch below the surface the Pokemon successfully captured. With the Voltrob now gone the only sources of light were the barely glimmering thunderstone reflecting gently off the reflective surface of the Pokeball and Xatu's still glowing eyes. Miomoko's cell phone began to ring.

Miomoko reached into her pocket to pull out her cellphone. "Kian? Can you go grab the pokeball please?" She asked before she answered her phone. She looked to see who it was, but the caller id showed no number, she used her thumb to push the green answer button, and placed the phone to her ear, "Hello?" She asked whoever was on the other line.
Kian nodded his head and ran over towards the puddle. He hopped into the puddle. It felt so nice because the water was nice and cool, Kian savoured the moment for a quick second. He dunked his head under water, and with his mouth grabbed the pokeball. He placed it next to the puddle, and then took a few quick drinks before hopping out and bringing the pokeball back to Miomoko. Kian sat at her feet with the ball in his mouth, he awaited for her to finish her call.
